I have PN from MS and agree with the heat, stretching and activity. Agree on sleep, cool room, no caffeine after noon and in addition melatonin which has been shown to help with neuro protection and regeneration in addition to sleep. I also use heated socks in the winter. Keep moving is key. I think it is worse in the evening because we slow down and don’t move as much.

I’ve had lots of tests by the physicians, and still no known cause for it. I actually do take some drugs but it only managed to relieve the pain and also the tingling but not my stiffed toes. After trying this neuropathy treatment method bit.ly/2rG78X0 I was able to move my toes very easily again after a long time. I also feel a lot better in general.?

You guys are amazing - my PN is chemotherapy induced (CIPN). I have continued walking and it definitely eases the pain after about 0.5k (perhaps the endorphins- I hadn’t thought of that)
‘5K Your Way’ is a great charitable health initiative that encourages cancer patients, family and friends, oncology specialists and health professionals to walk/run with each other once a month. Others CIPN sufferers may want to look them up.
Thank you for the reassurance that it’s a positive thing to do !

I love the info, the unfortunate part is Im doing all those things without relief. I walk 10k steps a day, I move my feet all night long even when asleep, sometimes damaging my foot where it becomes swollen. Heat is good but scary because Ive burned my feet due to loss of feeling. My neuropthy is from a missed knee fracture not diabetes or such. I just dont know what else to do. They want to put me on an ssri to sleep but that cant be the only answer.

I read somewhere that menthol and eucalyptus vapour rub helps so one night when my feet were driving me bonkers and stopped me from sleeping I gently massaged the vapour rub into the balls of my feet and very quickly the nerve sensations calmed down and I could naturally fall asleep. Cost of product £1 for supermarket own brand. :)

This was very informative. When you mentioned ankle tightness and weakness it was an "ah-hah" moment for me. I already suspected I had neuropathy given my kidney issues, and my symptoms. This just confirms it.
I've had these episodes over the past 2 years. Each time I corrected my kidney problems and neuropathy by changing my DIET. Many months later I decided it was "okay" to start eating sugary foods again. And each time my body reminds me it's NOT OKAY. Lol...
I wish food and diet were more emphasized by doctors instead of spending thousands of dollars on all sorts of remedies or drugs to relieve symptoms.
I used *intermittent fasting* to solve pretty much all my ailments (it's also been proven to reverse type 2 diabetes), including reducing my weight (I'm obese). I also use an herb called *Rehmannia* which works really well in helping my kidneys function better, but it takes about a day to really start working. Without it, my lactic acid levels skyrocket and my calves swell up, among other issues.

I am type 2 diabetic and have neuropathy in my feet so bad. My feet feel numb and like they are tightly wrapped in tape constantly day and night. They tingle all the time too but the worst of it is when I'll get one spot on my foot, ankle, or toe where it literally feels like someone is touching a lit cigarette to the skin! It feels like that for a few seconds and then it'll let up for a few seconds and then again in the same spot here comes the burn again and this will repeat over and over again for as long as 2 days straight. It nearly drives me insane! And there's nothing I can do to stop it. Ice won't help, heat won't help, soaking won't help, pinching the shit out of it won't help, rubbing it won't help. I'm at its damn mercy until IT decides to stop. Tylenol won't help, gabapentin won't help. I'm just simply fucked. I once was so sick of a spot on my ankle burning that had kept me up all night crying that I fixed a nice, steaming hot cup of coffee in a glass mug and held the cup against the skin where it hurt cause I thought, motherfucker I'm gonna give you a real reason to burn! But even that didn't do anything but blister and scab. Oh well! I'd like to stab my feet sometime just to see if I can feel it.

I had a lot of relief taking R-lipoic acid once a day, in combination with Berberine. I’ve heard other people having success with just the R-lipoic acid, but I’m taking Berberine for other reasons, and I don’t know if the combination works, or if just the one would do the trick. Give it 2-4 weeks to make a difference. It worked wonders for me. I got a German brand of both off Amazon. Pricey, but not having my feet on fire is amazing.

When you take b vitamins, you have to take them all together. They need to be balanced in the body. Bcomplex is better, as opposed to individual vitamins. Bcomplex definatley does help with neuropathy. You need pure products, with no additives. Whole Foods brand is very good. It comes in liquid drops. Also, add pycnogenol, and ALA into your regimen. This is a great combination for neuropathy. Lavender essential oil rubbed on the area, also helps with the symptoms while the body is healing. You guessed it, Whole Foods brand again. ☺ Hope this helps someone. And no, I dont work for Whole Foods, I just love their Brand. It is potent, and really works.(365 brand / Whole Foods brand) Ive never had any side effects from one of their products.

Before my nap, I couldn't lift my long watermelon off my cart. After my nap, I lifted it like a sheet of paper. Seems I should get a treadmill to walk safely for exercise before walking to some place.

The only thing that takes away the stinging sensation (Its like a person endlessly snapping a rubber band against your skin...esp. on certain spots on the feet)..is opioid pain medication or THC in cannibis (CBD oil without THC is nothing but snake-oil). But unfortunately there is an attack on opioid meds to the dismay of the chronic pain sufferer...all because people who had short term acute pain liked the warm fuzzy feeling they got along with the false sense of awareness, relaxation, and even energy while they laid by with their buzz and feeling of euphoria. This is because they are weak as human beings in being unable to deal with issues and the daily challenges of life without a crutch. They abuse the meds, so everybody now suffers.

@@karlitaflores7623 Well it was diabetes. It wasn't neuropathy. I recently hurt my neck. I go back to work this week. I hurt the nerve in my neck, all over to my right shoulder. I still have weakness in my right arm. I need to get some equipment or a gym membership. But at 61 I have no desire to go to a gym with young people. I'm doing fine for all intents and purposes. I've been blessed with decent health, no cancer, no diabetes yet but if I don't improve my diet and get some exercise I'm going to have problems. I don't know how my liver has held out this long and my kidneys. I drank fairly heavily for about 4 years, off and on. In April I will have had no alcohol for 5 years. There needs to be a balance. You can't trash your body and not expect the worse over time. If you want to live a little longer we need some common sense. My brother died since I typed my first comment here. He died of colon cancer. He smoked cigarettes and a lot of pot. He drank but I'm sure there for a while my drinking put his light weight drinking to shame. But he was the thin toned guy the girls go for. He looked a lot better than I do but he died before me at 52. I have nothing really to complain about. I've been fortunate to get this far. I have this terrible ringing in my left hear lately. The tinnitus is driving me crazy. It is so loud. I think it is like nerve damage or a reaction to my cats and too much sugar in my diet. If I go back on KETO I think I'll do better.

Now I'm in the midwest & my Dr's put me on lyrica also. I can't say that it helped but I recon I can't say it's hurt either... yet. The extensive research I've done the past 17+yrs has led me to a type of magnesium & a few other thing's that have helped me. I'm a bit nervous about saying to much because I know a guy that was sued for trying to help a supposed friend, & all he did was tell them what helped him. Also I'm fairly new to this kind of communication, so what I'll say is I just told someone about what I've done a few minutes ago & you can see what I said to them if you go to what slow like honey too wrote & then to what G Smithy wrote you can find it their. I really hope it helps you. I know it freaking sucks to have pain's! And it sucks even worse when Dr's don't try to cure us, they only treat the symptoms! Good luck to ya, I hope you can find some, or tottal relief.

Great Video! Apologies for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Taparton Sturdy Nerves Takeover (search on google)? It is a great one off product for Getting rid of Neuropathy without the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my old buddy Taylor got excellent success with it.

    You guys are great!
I discovered your channel few days ago and you have a ton of quality content. Keep it up! ;)
I have a question. I am 27, atlethic and I injured myself probably in gym with too much deadlift, although I don't know exact time of injury, I just start feeling pain one morning in my buttock and down the left leg up to my knee. MRI showed L5 S1 9mm herniated disc with compression on the nerve root in spinal canal. 6 months of PT (not McKenzie) and spinal decompression methods didn't help so I decided to get microdiscectomy which took place 2 months ago. Few days ago I did an MRI and found out I still have minor herniation (4mm in spinal canal without compression).
Do you recommend that I try McKenzie method at this point?
Keep in mind that I now walk without pain, although I steel feel pain in my buttock and a little bit in my left leg (and it's not muscle pain, its nerve for sure) when I do the standard test with leg raise on the ground or when I try to bend my hips forward.

I got rid of my burning sensation in feet with Dr. Oyalo's herbal treatment. I met Dr. Oyalo on channel. After consulting I got his treatment, which is really effective for me. You can also try. Till now I’m cured and completely free.

Love your broadcasts but the ads are interfering with delivery of your content. What would be more constructive would be ad spots related to your brand. Cars and phone service really isn't it. Especially if they are interruptive and pernicious.

My question is I have been experiencing what feels like a lack of blood flow to the upper & putter part of my feet, especially my right foot along w/ my diabetic burning, stinging, stabbing pains & when it gets to this point, even the feeling of my socks on my feet bother it even more. Is this normal for diabetic neuropathy & is there anything else that I can do to eliminate it other than what you both have mentioned in your video? I can't seem to get relief w/ out taking oxycodone for the pain, which I don't want to keep taking in addition, gabapentin makes me have extreme hot flashes w/ profuse sweating, also lyrica has never helped either.

Ondrea Counts I feel your pain I have diabetes and I had spinal cord damage so have neuropathy I have been on medication for neuropathy since 2008 gabapentin and now lyrica both worked for a month or two but now don’t at all I noticed the better controlled my sugars are the less pain I have there’s also a surgical procedure I can try it’s called spinal cord stimulation you can see pain specialist about it and you can have a trial to see if it helps your pain and if so you can have the stimulator implanted permanently

To anyone suffering with this pain GO TO A CHIROPRACTOR. My sister suffered the worst pain of her life when the pandemic started. We suspect it started because of the vaccine we took. The pain in her feet kept her awake at night, every night. Even if she managed to sleep (which wasn't much) she was still in pain. Her pain would travel with her whenever she drifted off. It only got better when she started going to a chiropractor.
