- After having emergency surgery I ended up with Covid. I'm not 100% yet but I am back to work on the Log Cabin.

About Me.
In 2018 I decided to stop working for someone else full time and pursue my dream of building my log home and starting a small farm in the Ozark mountains. It's a dream that I have had and have been working towards for over 20 years, and due to life changes and unexpected events, I decided to make a leap of faith. This journey will not be without its challenges and setbacks, but I will continue to push forward each and every day to make this dream a reality. I try to upload videos 3 days a week but working mostly alone I am always pressed for time.

Peel the skins off 4 organic grapefruit and 4 organic lemons ,chop the skins. Just cover them with water. Boil slowly. Sieve the juice into a jar or bottle and keep in ridge. Take it daily as per taste. This is nature's own ivermectin. (Juice the rest of the fruits and also enjoy that!)
Boil slowly for how long??
Never heard of this - like Melaney, how long do you boil it, or simmer it?

Glad you both are recovering. We watch your great build videos from afar. I hope some folks watching will take notice and get fully vaccinated for COVID. Here in Korea the vacination rate for us senior citizens (over 60) is near 100%. The death rate for seniors here is 1/200th that of the USA, even though our living conditions are much more crowded. The very few seniors who've died in our city are all elderly and almost all had advanced other comorbidity issues. We never gave up any rights, freedoms, never had to shelter in place, quarantine, etc because common sense and respect for others happened after COVID arrived. Glad you're well and blessing to your family and community.

I had covid last february. Please, please take care. the worst part of covid is the "after" when you do not take care of yourself. There are many who take way longer to recuperate because they over doi as soon as they start feeling better. So do take your time, rest a lot, drink a lot of water and delicious teas... and do not work too much. You are both a wonderful wonderful two... and I am happy to see you well and better.

Good grief, you & April have really been through it. If you two can make it past Alaska, surgery, and COVID then you guys can weather anything. We had the original CV-19 almost a year ago. It took us months to get all our strength back. We found ourselves feeling guilty because we had to take more breaks when working outside, and naps, too! So be aware of those times when you start to feel guilty because you'd rather take a lie-down instead of working, DON'T!! Glad to see you back, though. Slow and steady is the key!
I remember you. :-). Betting the girls were scared when you and April both went down with COVID.

JudithB Good to see you back again. I got vax d, and still did a round with Delta. High fever, sick as a dog, lost 5#s from not eating, but back to normal after 5 days. Sure glad I avoided a trip to the hospital tho!! Not looking forward to Rsvl trip this week!!

Hello from Northern Virginia, just subscribed, nice looking boer goats, we raised them for years along with cattle. I spent 16days in the Hospital with covid, The wife spent 10 in also. All well now, glad you are also, Take Care 🚜👍🏼🪵🇺🇸

Did you ever catch the bobcat that was killing your chickens? Glad to see you up and going again. I underwent gall bladder removal and hernia repair surger ,all in one operative session, via laparoscopy, a couple of years back and lost over 20 pounds afterwards. One of the worst recuperative periods I have ever had following surgery. Very sore, weak and painful afterwards. The tongue and groove looks great on your walls and ceilings. Can't wait to see how your windows and doors turn out.
No I think the bobcat has moved on . We left the chickens locked up for about 5 weeks and haven't had any problems since.
