Very interesting to hear all about your spending habits to reach that centurion eligibility. Never seen anyone else be as transparent as you. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏽 but this video just reminded me of how poor I am 😢
I can spend 300,000 consistently every year, but my assets aren't over 10m. They barely reach 1m, and I hear assets plays a big part if you want to be approved and with my low spend i'm not sure i can reach it. Hopefully I can spend more and get my assets up, but this is the first video i've seen that really goes in depth on what cards/how much spend. Love the channel.
I don't think you need to have 10M in assets to get the card. However, if you had that much in investible assets held in certain firms, that would be one way to get the card and bypass the spend requirements.
The Centurion benefits are awesome, I have received a invited for a red carpet event for the new James Bond movie, A invite for driving experience in a Porsche on F1 circuit and the gala premiere of Disney Aladin. So the benefits are huge. 😉
Thanks for the honesty and exposing yourself to all of us. You inspire me and many to conquer your obstacles and focus on your objectives. Many Blessings to you✌️
Thank you for making this video. I read it also depends on your location. A person in NYC would need to spend substantially more than a person in Nashville or Boise to be eligible for Amex Centurion card.
Fascinating, thanks for sharing the data points. Question out of curiosity: Did you set out with the goal to put the majority of spend on Platinum, despite it likely not being the best multiplier in order to score the invite? If so, since getting the black card have you reallocated spend to cards with better multipliers when appropriate? Wondering if that would affect the Amex relationship
Yes, it was intentional. I am not spending the same amount on amex anymore and my relationship will not be effected, specifically related to centurion membership.
Oh my word... and I thought that Centurion over exaggerated with their invitation requirements. I had no idea well off/comfortable people really spent so much money like this. I figured the reason most wealthy people (not celebrities 🙄) are wealthy is because they saved money and didn't spend it. Thank you for your transparency, it's a bit of an eye opener into a world that I know nothing about.
It’s always been a dream of mine to have this card but after hearing this, I’m not sure I want to feel obligated to spend to much just get the invite lol

Actually real millionaires have a lots of time. Coz there are a lots of poor people working for them. So if you aggregate all those hours the output will be way more than what a single person can work. That's the secret 😉
I got an Invitation in the Mail! It did say Invitation, black envelope that said Metal Luxury Card and the annual fee was $695 with 100k points if you spend 6k in the first 6 months. Not sure if this black metal card was different than any other black card Amex Offers. I'm not a high spender so Amex cards won't work for my needs as I am into maximizing my cash back on every penny I spend. My max yearly spending is only about 125k a year so not really sure if they just sent it out which I have another 3 offers for some other Amex cards 1 of them being a gold plated card which I also looked into. So an Amex Agent has to call you then?!
Could easily be $250k/yr for a minimum of 3 years. As soon as they realized you were going to hit $250k in year 3 you got the offer. The only way to prove your theory correct would have been if you had 3+ years of $250k-500k with no offer followed by 2-3 years at $500k+ getting the offer, but unfortunately that's not how it happened so can't really conclude much based on your experience.
@@GetToThePoint-Creditcards last question 🙋♂️, if you buy a car let’s say 50k how soon you need to pay off and is there APR involved with this kind of cards? Thank you
This is the USA personal Centurion - right? Did you answer "YES" to a net worth over $20,000,000.00 USD? There are easier ways to get the Centurion than via spending - and getting the USA card is by far the hardest.
