I’ve got the beige face SPF30 and original blue SPF30. The blue one made me feel so sticky and greasy on my face and body whereas the beige face one is my absolute holy grail for my combination eczema prone skin!
I used this working outside all day and didn't find it lasted longer than any other sunscreen. I ended up being a little pink on my neck where my hat doesn't cover when I went 4 hrs without reapplying, and this is exactly what I experienced when I forgot to reapply my LRP. It does absorb and dry down quick but I found it hard to gauge how much I was putting on because it's a foam and because it did dry down so quick!
Absolutely love this sunscreen! I have eczema and rosacea so I can't tolerate SPF as well other people - the Kids version is the gentlest for my skin and it's super water resistant, which means I can reapply less throughout the day (if I were to reapply every two hours as directed my face would be on fire!) The finish is glowy and tacky but powdering fixes that for me easily - I just love that is not greasy at all cause I just cannot tolerate greasy sunscreens on my face for everyday wear. Would love to try the face one but shipping to Australia is so complicated I have to go with the option that gives me the most sunscreen per bottle.
The best sunscreen I Have ever used...Been using it for years now...Love the kids one is simple and lightweight...Daily defense moussenia also great....Love evy.....
They recommend a golf ball size amount, but when you rub it between the hands, I wonder a bit how much of it ends up on the hands and not on the face. A golf ball size amount is about the right amount in grams, but the area of the hands is considerable compared to the face, so I question wether you get the 2mg/cm2 on the face. Part of it will be on the hands.
And I'm able to get it for super cheap here. It's often on sale and like 3 for 2 offers and so much cheaper online. I mainly buy from drugstores online websites.
I have used it for 3 years. My pharmacist in Sweden recommended it. I use the kids version. I also watched Dr.V and Dr. Alexis Stephens who both recommend mineral sunscreen, but I have hyperpigmentation and have not noticed any negative side effects after being outside for hours
This is my favorite sunscreen and I have a stash of like a dozen lined up. The only down side is the truly horrible eye sting. I often put a different sunscreen around my eyes and Evy on the rest of my face and body.
I’ve tried the one in the tan bottle and it was a very shiny finish on my skin. But I can go over it with The Inkey List Heptapeptide serum (it has a super matte finish) and I know because of the technology it will not shift the spf protection underneath. I currently have the children’s version, and oddly enough I found it to be a drier formula, and a less shiny formula. But because it has less slip it takes a bit longer and more care to rub in. All in all, I like it! Please review their hair spf too 🙏🏻!
I LOVE Evy sunscreen. The daily defense mousse 50 is my fave as well. I tried the spf 50 blue bottle but my eczema on my lip area doesn't love it. It also is more sticky I think. So most probably I'll go back to the brown bottle. What I'm sad about though is that both sunscreens are not compatible with my neck area. It got so sensitized. Also, EVY burns my eyes SO MUCH. So I avoid the eye area. But anyway, so far it is the best sunscreen that is available to me (I currently live in Sweden).
Oh its interesting to see these kind of comments. Because I have a lot of problems with stinging. Like a lot!!! But I use both of them (not kids version) and no eye stinging at all. 🎉
the best one yet. All the sunscreens I have tried by now have any issues. This one DOES NOT! I use the kids one because its the most affordable option, but god, it is the BEST!
Interesting video Ramon! I've never used a mousse sunscreen but this one sounds really good. Yes to the hair mouse video please and I love your hair!!!
I’d love to see a review/ application how-to of the hair mousse. I actually own it but I just haven’t managed to work out yet at what point during my hair routine to apply it so it doesn’t make my hair feel more dry than normal after styling. I personally use a hair serum + leave-in conditioner and occasionally a gel to style. Loved the video as always! 💐
This is what I found in there website UV/Heat Hair Mousse - 150ml Hair mousse This all-in-one hair product works as both UV/heat protection and as a volumising styling product. Thanks to UV filters, it protects your hair’s moisture and colour during sun exposure. The light formula works as a leave-in conditioner, without weighting your hair down. Enriched with natural oils and vitamins. Innovative formula that works both as a volumising styling product and long-lasting UV and heat protection for up to 210 °C from styling tools. Thanks to specific UV filters, your hair is protected against dryness, bleaching and discolouring caused by the sun. The lightweight formula softens and disentangles your hair, without weighing it down. Adds resilience and shine, strengthens the hair, and prevents split ends. Contains vitamin B3/5/6, E and C and natural oils. Provides volume and hold. Perfume-free. Vegan. Salt water feeling and wow volume. Heat/ UV and colour protection Defines and strengthens your hair For all hair types and length. The hygienic aerosol bottle remains sealed and oxygen free. Apply to wet or dry hair before sun exposure. Use for protection when styling with hot equipment, or as a volumising product. Distribute the mousse evenly on the hair with a brush or comb after shampooing. Blow-dry and style your hair as desired.
Thanks for this. I'm always on the lookout for a nice high UVA protection chemical sunscreen. I feel price isn't too bad considering the size relative to most facial sunscreens. ;)
Testing the Daily Defense Mousse 50 in sunny Rome right now and I'm really happy wjith it. So far no signs of redness on my pales skin, and it's a joy to apply.
@@jiafeistan7657 only if I apply it to the inner or outer corner of my eye. Which I sometimes accidentally do if I am in a hurry... I don't feel my occasional mistake makes it any less worth it though. But I am a Swede so I don't have to pay any shipping or other extra costs.
I want to try this because I suck at reapplying but I'm so sad that it has avobenzone. I don't buy into the fear mongering about that but my eyes are sensitive to it. Maybe as a body sunscreen it would be worth it.
Which ingredient in the Daily Face Mousse provides the Blue light protection? Because the main antioxidents are in the SPF50 one too. Bit confused about the differences between the regular 50+ and that one.
Great video! I know they say non-comedogenic, but I wonder if they actually did the proper testing to prove that. Any issues with breakouts? My SPF30 is on the way!
I’ve been thinking to put my hands on their SPF30 for winter, it offers 5* UVA, so a PPD above 27 instead of K sunscreen with PA++++ (I don’t believe it beats the 27 rating). Not sure if that’s good idea. Any thoughts people?
I'm in the UK! Any recommendations for sunscreens or skin care in general that I should get to bring home to the states? Of course stuff I can't get in the states. I did find this Nivea protect and moisture sunscreen which was amazing. Thanks!
I have a few EVY sunscreens, got them after Rene on Gothamista recommended them. I do like them. But my HG is still and always will be Invisible Fluid from La Roche Posay. I love that fluid. Dry skin lady here.
Would you say that the daily mousse is less shiny than the LRP uvmune400 fluid? Found the fluid very oily and watery and feels just like it sits on the skin moving around :/
Hiya darling. Love love your videos. I'm wondering if you know about SUN MOUSSE. They make products very similar to Evy and it cheaper as well on Amazon UK.
It won't be worth the cost unless you're rich and have unhealthy skin that needs special stuff, I think. There are so many other good sunscreens that will be a better cost/benefit tradeoff if you're that far off. Unfortunately. If you ever have a friend who's visiting Sweden on the other hand, you can ask them to pick up a few bottles for you.
@@Monicalala I tried everywhere. Every time I’m checking out it says that we do not ship to the United States. Can you provide us with the link where we can order it from thanks !!
I believe so! I provided links to Cult Beauty and Beauty Bay in the description box and I know CB does ship to the US. I’ve ordered from them a number of times
Ifsogo ships to the US, but they require a minimum purchase of six cans. Neither Beauty Bay nor Cult Beauty ship Evy to the US because the cans are aerosol and considered hazardous to ship.
My skin is unhealthily dry despite medication against that, and it's not tacky at all on me because of that, I think. So if you have friends who don't produce a high enough amount of skin oil to have normal skin then that'll help them escape the tackiness. I'm basically married to this brand now because of how great it is for my skin (they have an anti-dry SPF-free mousse I use religiously in winter). Though I live in Sweden so I can usually get these on sale at reduced price, and no shipping costs.
This liposomal SPF encapsulation / delivery technique seems really exciting… I hope more brands get on board and we get more textures and finishes. There's one Cetaphil kids sunscreen that advertises itself as liposomal here in Aus, but it's a greasy casty mess 😅🥲
