And most of people would just think “Wow, this is terrible.”, and then keep scrolling, not thinking much of it. But only if you knew how deep this rabbit hole can go and what awful things the vocalist of TX2 has committed.

Okay so I found out more about this, TX2 is a band but Evan is the only one on the cover because he is the main person in the the band, Sam, Corkey, and Cam just play the instruments.

As someone who’s struggled with depression and suicide, bringing up the “I’m suicidal” card as soon as someone criticizes you is straight up pathetic. It’s so immature and he’s making people who are depressed and suicidal look like a joke!

I was also really depressed and suicidal for a few years and so I wanted to say something nice or comforting, but I didn’t want to say anything like “Oh, I know how you feel. I’m sorry that you’re going through that but It’ll get better.” Cause everyone’s experiences are different. I guess I could have said *Gives you a hug* though, because maybe petting might have come off as creepy or condescending. I will delete my comment, not sure if it will fix anything but maybe it’s best to just remove it.

As a former TX2 fan, Evan telling Lake to k*ll themself then misgendering them nonstop was enough for me to no longer be a fan of TX2. I'm grateful he pulled that stunt directly before I bought tickets to see him live. I didn't waste my money on TX2 tickets because I left the fanbase because he did this directly before my payday

some tx2 fans are absolutely horrible, i got fatshamed on tiktok earlier this month because someone started harassing me in my comments and calling me a poser for calling out stuff you touched on in this video, and the person originaly making horrible comments to me decided to tag a bunch of people in my comments and one of them responded and started to fatshame me. i wasnt even offended, i was just laughing over how childish people can be after hearing fact.

I don't mind the music, infact I find comfort in it. What I didn't know is that the vocalist was a total asshole. This is pretty much how I feel, I also find comfort in some of his music though I do agree that he has done some seriously bad things.
Evan has down some questionable things, that he shouldn’t have done especially with the Whole Lake situation, but I do know that he isn’t a mean or hateful person, sometimes people so bad things in the moment and end up regretting it later and I believe he will if he doesn’t already regret it. What I personally think is lake and Evan were in the wrong like why the Hell were you gonna off your self because a fucking joke?! Like Lake acted like a child when they were an adult. But again I can’t justify what Evan said because it wasn’t okay. But I do know that neither of them are bad people.

I know!!! my bff who is obsessed with the emo genre, enjoys TX2's music. She isn't depressed and has no trauma (she said she hates her life because of her nails, shes younger than everyone in her class, and he grandma not liking her being emo), and she does S/H because she thinks she'll fit in with other emos, specifically famous emos (i.e. Johnnie Guilbert). I've told her to stop and she will regret them later on. That's why I don't like Evan pushing that stereotype onto his audience/people.

i'll never forget when he sent his entire fanbase to cyberbully some youtubers because they laughed at one of his videos. a channel did a video reacting to crazy tiktok livestreams. tx2 was doing an "ironic skit" where he said he'd respond to every fan that messages him and was being overly positive. the youtubers that reacted to the video laughed and thought it was funny. tx2 and his fans got upset over this, and flooded the comments on the video, bullying them for "being against his mental health movement." so much for positivity, huh?
Umm not true I’ve been a fan of Evan for Years and never once has he ever said to bully or insult another person. I haven’t missed a since livestream or post of evans in almost 2 years and I wasn’t even a fan of his untill last year.

He was a fan of this episode and still are because he got their jokes and thought it was funny. And yes maybe his fans saw it because he talked about it on a Livestream but never told them to go watch it or comment on it. Not all TX2 fans are horrible either, I’m not all I do is tell the truth about situations. Now I definitely get why you would think he said that but he didn’t. Maybe actually Watch his lives he does live on TikTok everyday and RUclips every other day, you can ask him questions and he answers them honestly, you’ll see a bunch of stuff that you didn’t even know about him. Or that way when he was 21 he was R@ped by one of his girlfriends, same thing happens again where he was SA’d by a random guy in a gas station. The biggest thing is though is the major regret he still has to live with knowing that he almost had a kid. This whole group of tiktokaltstars sends alarm bells off all the time . I've been a member of alt scenes since 1998 and I get so many predatory and bigoted vibes from these people. It makes me sad bc our all age venues are disappearing and this is what we are left with.
As a 17 year old who's trying to get into alternative scenes for the first time, I really wish that there were more spaces for all ages to explore without the constant sexualisation. I personally can get really triggered by sexual content and hate how people online have turned spaces into this toxic environment disguised as a place of love and acceptance.
I just want to explore and find out if the scene is the right place to me, yet I constantly feel afraid of being labelled as someone like those dodgy alt tiktok people.

Like yes, I’ve got trauma and I’ve attempted before but I don’t go ‘look at me, look at me, I’ve got trauma!’ When someone gets upset with something I’ve done.

I’ve been a TX2 fan for about a year, and I only really liked their music and didn’t think much of it, but now looking at the drama, f*cking what? Honestly, at best he’s narcissistic, and I really am regretting pushing away slight drama in my eyes prior to watching this. Also, I’ve listened to his song Vendetta before, and didn’t think much of the part where Lake is speaking, because I didn’t know the background to it. I thought it was some inside joke and he got like a friend of his to say it, but when I was watching this and heard Lake say “if TX2 talks about ‘goth dommy mommies one more time, i’ll sh00t myself” i was like “no way he put that in a f*cking song” but alas, he did.

Help this video introduced me to Get Scared… after hearing the clip I was like “wait, that’s high key fire,” paused the video, and went and listened to a bunch of there songs before coming back and omg they’re good.
One thing I remember from one of his songs ‘loaded guns’, how from a lot of his other songs he stands for queer rights and equal rights for everyone yet constantly harasses people in those songs and one line literally implies SA within the song ‘loaded guns’. He’s a horrible stereotype, narcissist and hypocrite.
Speaking of which, the amount of times he’s said the f slur in his songs. Just because you’re part of the queer community doesn’t really make it ok. I mean, personally, I wasn’t offended because I knew it wasn’t directed at me or anyone, but it still probably offended other ppl. Plus it almost normalizes the slur. Other than that I honestly don’t care about the TX2 drama and if new drama shows up, we shouldn’t get involved, People.

my friend is obsessed with tx2, she doesn't really listen to anything else. my other friend told her that the lead singer told someone to off themself, but she didn't care. she just said "...okay, so?" i haven't listened to tx2 since then, i didn't even really like them.
The musical differences part I did manage to clock a few. The songs sound VERY similar, and while I think heavy inspiration has been taken, I don't know if stealing is exactly the right term for it here. Then again, that was me REALLY nitpicking with details too, so it could very well be Evan just decided to take it. It's a comonplace thing in music for similarity and for claims of theft to go wild but we'll never properly know the context of that songwriting process to really get the truth
