Problem is most people get emotionally tied to a purchase. They fall in love with something for whatever reason, and find ways to overlook/justify flaws. My boys learned that the hard way with some cars/trucks they've bought. They fell in love with the lift kits/wheels/tires/etc., and overlooked some mechanical issues I pointed out, that ended up costing them bunches of $'s. Just remember, there's always another deal out there. Just have to be patient!

Another great video showing WHY folks need a quality inspection team to look over what your going to buy. Even with the DRV's reputation as a high end rig, it can have faults, and knowing before you buy what they might be is something you really want to know.

The big question that is always in the back of head is why did they trade in the RV , or why did they trade their car or truck in . Is there something wrong with it ? I really makes me wonder . Here is a idea , lets play it safe and get a inspection before you buy . Your customer made a wise choice . Please keep up the good you two and keep those vedios coming
The owner didn't trade it in. It is at a consignment dealership. The owner is a snowbird and didn't want to tow it back and forth so they put it on consignment and bought a park model to leave in Florida and sell this one.
It looks like a nice 5th wheel but the slide is in to bad of shape for me so I would have to pass

DRV used to be such fine rigs. Since thr THOR takeover, not anymore. The interior finish is nothing like it used to be.
As much as I like the brand and floor plan, I'd walk away.
Unbelievable scammer with a clipboard supposedly inspecting. Something differently rotten in Denmark with this unit, The Blue Ox inspection team is a must to be protected from these units

We had a 2017 DRV Nashville, Beautiful rig but what a piece of crap! Plastic door knobs, they wired the entertainment system all wrong and the most disappointing part was it had six slides and five leaked. We were so happy to get rid of it. A lot of money for JUNK!

I don’t understand why the potential customer would want to take on a RV with all those problems. It’s a bust for me but if they want a project this one’s a good prospect.

We didn't know how big a project it would initially be. We got the inspection report in 1 day. We then had to digest the full report from Blue Ox , all 631 pages! Then we reached out to the DRV factory as well as Rolling Retreats (RR) with a condensed version of the more critical areas needing repair. After 3 days of texting, calls and emails, both DRV and RR were confident that this coach was not only repairable, but may be worth saving due to the negotiated final price vs current market value. The bigger question was what they might find in addition what this inspection had discovered (layers of an onion). We did a cost analysis with the folks at RR, even talked with Blue Ox a couple more times, and came to the conclusion that after repairs, travel costs, time etc that this just wasn't for us. To much of a gamble. It's a shame because once torn apart for repairs, we could have customize it or upgraded it to our liking. Pierre and Laurel of Blue Ox are worth every penny we paid them for this inspection. Both of them will tell you the whole truth and will pull no punches! They kind of sugar coat it in their videos! LOL! When the time comes for another coach in our future (new or used) we WILL be contacting them! Thanks !

Sweet lord, sweet lord. Why are people purchasing campers with slide outs? You know you have a greater chance of moisture than your babies diaper having pee in it.

Question is the slide problems because of the weight of the wood on it? Would it be better is it was aluminum furniture? Less weight to be on that slide?

This would be another bust. I feel sorry for the fools who hired the "lemon Joker" The old saying goes you get what you pay for. Some things are minor but the TPO is involved that is when I would walk.

It's a bust for me. And, given that it's a 2021, means that it was built during covid.
I am looking at buying a 2016 drv Houston 5th wheel camper have you done any inspection on that year model I am new to rv and don't want to buy a camper like this one and how can this be voided from happening looks like to me the owner could have stop this before the damage was done The 16 drv Houston that I am looking at is at a dealership so if it did have slide out problems and floor rot seals rip would dealership fix them to make sale

They are not sure???? No way, total bust.
We were not sure because we wanted to talk to specialist that do this type of repair. Also, this inspection happened on a Friday and we couldn't get answers until middle of the following week. The specialist felt it WAS repairable, we just weren't comfortable with the unknown cost as well as additional damage found that wasn't not shown in this video.

This is a consignment only dealer. They represent the seller and pass offers between buyers and owners. They really don't care what condition the rv is in. If it sells, they get a 10% cut.
