Despite its fresh-off-the-lot status, this luxury RV revealed some surprising and concerning issues.Hidden issues = major headaches in the future.
🚨👉Our inspection uncovered significant problems with the two air conditioning units, which failed to provide adequate cooling to keep the interior comfortable, in our opinion. The slide-out system, which not only malfunctioned but also caused the ceiling to move up as it retracted, was quite concerning.

One of the reasons I don’t like a Lot of slide outs & especially not when really heavy appliances are located on slide outs . . . Too many potential problems . . .
They need to put a lil more attention to structure for sure
That tv lift didn’t work 4 weeks ago in the sales video. Salesperson tried twice “whoops, we will just move on”…. And now you did an inspection and nothing fixed? PDI at dealers is a joke/non existent.

We ordered a 2023 Dutch Star built in fall of 2022 -We have nothing but issues including a complete electrical failure this past spring which cost $15,000 to repair-Newmar told us to pound sand because we were 4 months past our year warranty-Sorry Newmar -We don’t see the “Difference” 🤯⭐️

Ouch Newmar! Transwest did not do a PDI before putting this on the Lot. I’ll bet they were going to charge for it.

Newmar invented the slide. People say they are the slowest but most accurate slides in the industry. Every single late model Newmar that you have inspected lately has problems. You mentioned you’re going to the new factory. I hope you’re going to have a good discussion with them and they will wake up and go back to the way they used to make Coaches. Such a sad state of affairs.
We had a great contact with the top dog in the service department. Yet the new president, appointed by Winnebago, is the ultimate player for the direction they are going to take 🤔 near future will tell us I guess 😶

Vous faites du bon travail mes amis. One does wonder how much of what you found is due to lot rot and zero upkeep by the dealer. Regardless of the cause, the slide would be a heartache.

Half a million dollars and nobody does quality control checks? I'd love to see you do a video with one of the manufacturers while doing an inspection on their rv's and ask how did that pass the final walk thru

One would think that at the entry price for a Dutchstar ,one should not have any problems. In the RV industry apparently this isn't true

We walked away. Ruby is for hire to inspect B Vans. Her fee - 10 yummies and hour.
Find her a teamate and have her apply for our "Endorsed" program. She might have a shot! 😊

great video. Congrats on hitting 10K subscribers. I am also a fan of REV products. I have had a HR Nautica and now I own a American Tradition 45T. I huge fan of the REV service center in Decatur, IN. They also take care of whatever small issue I have. REV is the best Value in RV versus Newmar, Tiffin and Entregra .
Great review. I think i'll stick with my 2019 Newmar.
And....if you need service, go to Nappanee! It's well worth the time!
Seen some nice interviews with the new president of Newmar. If you guys are really going to Indiana to the headquarters be nice you guys could talk to the president and give him your insight. Hopefully he’ll listen and take it to heart and make some major changes!

That airport is a pain in the butt, if you get an Uber and go to the wrong side you miss your ride! Congratulations on 10k subscribers you should have 50k. Pierre, I’m back looking at fifth wheels the class A’s all seem to be junk nowadays. If that’s a new unit it just proves my point, totally a bust what happened to Newmar quality? Rv looks beautiful but once you unwrap it oh my! Probably Didn’t Inspect for sure or they were counting on the WOW factor!

If this was a used model that was say under $85K I wouldn't mind all the "little" things found, but if it is over that price I call in question quality control, because if the little things are okay to slide what does that mean for the non -little things? Not good, because the company has already shown its colors on the little stuff. This is why you seriously need a GOOD team like Blue Ox to spot the obvious "things" that others just don't seem to care about. Don't be stupid get a team you can trust to be on YOUR side, and protect you're self from future "discoveries"

They are waiting on the results as the dealer took our list and said they would fix everything 🙃 we'll see.
@@blueoxontherun9188 Cool. So how does that work, do you guys go and re-inspect or does the dealer and buyer just go over your report together to be sure everything was corrected?
Yes.Typically customer print his CL list as he goes to pickup his unit going through every items making sure they have been addressed and fixed.
That list is what you forwarded to them, with all pix and comments, as a PDF where they promised everything has been fixed from your list 🤣🤣 that you can now verify at moment of pick up

I had a 34k forest river on a seasonal lot and I’d say run even at that price. I was hoping for a call from the campground saying a tree crushed it. Certainly wouldn’t have leaked any less.

It sure looks like the slide out has design issues. A long unsupported span for sure. I would think your job should be looking for manufacturing flaws not having to question the design of a half million dollar unit.

You hear Newmar and You think top of the line. But You get an Inspection and You get Problems. What is Going on where a Top of the Line RV i not Perfect? Oh it's not a 2 Million Dollars Bus
Was never a fan of the full wall slide.....to me the physics of it just didn't make sense. While I'm at it ...put multi Plex wiring on that list as well. 👎. If you are buying a coach in this price range and aren't able to do factory delivery.....plan on bringing it to the manufacturers service facility with your laundry list ......dealing with dealer service ends up being a waste of time and just leads to aggravation.

Everyone buys these extended warranty $10k, tire protection $2k, material protection $4k, appliance extended protection $3k, ceramic coating $8k....on and on and on without batting an eye. But Inspection cost??? Oh no, way too much !!!

I want a machine that breaks from normal wear and tear. Not manufacturer broke on arrival. Side note use something besides fingers when showing space on a slide floor in case of unexpected failure. Won't need a nail salon if that happened. Keep telling us like it is!!!!!

A half of million dollar piece of garbage an u just walked into it they look so cheaply made what the hell happened to the RV industry I would rather spend $100k or more on a 2000 thru 2007 beaver or country coach or maybe a holiday rambler foretravler Newell before I would even consider buying a brannew motor home today
I think what happened is the banks became wide open on loans starting around 2019 and manufacturers saw a $$$ opportunity to rake it in without empathy for the buyers IMHO
