I like how in all three Holiday World water slide reviews you suggested to head to the coaster right when the park opens. Apparently I’m supposed to split in 3 and ride all of them at once, lol.
You should hit all 3 in the order of priority once the water park opens.
Cheetah Chase is a blast to ride. I rode it 4th of July in 2020. Holiday World is one of my favorite Amusement Parks I try to go every year.
I enjoy the park a lot.
I know this is already a comment, but I keep hearing and reading Cheetah Hunt because that's my home park.
I had to be careful not to mix them up.

At any other waterpark, this ride would be the best in the park, it's just got two neighbors that are much better.

Hey that's my wife and I and our friends at 4:03! 😂 I definitely don't think that all water coasters need to be airtime focused. I love Thunder Rapids and Cheetah Chase both about the same. Thunder Rapids has a longer ride time, and feels more complete as a singular slide. Cheetah Chase definitely isn't as long of a ride, but the racing aspect makes up for that. Either way, good luck having any dry spots on your body after a ride on either of them. 😂

I have never done research on the water coasters before, but your videos have been very informative. I noticed the similar aspects of Cheetah Chase to the one at Fiesta Texas. I agree with your preferences on the different water coasters. I liked Cheetah Chase, but it was a distant 3rd in the park.

According to the offcial Instagram of Proslide, Toothless Trickling Torpedo is the world longest water coaster and you can check out the post where they say that.
Toothless makes the claim, but I don't have the length stat unfortunately.
I don't like that Cheetah Chase has almost no airtime but I do prefer these waterjets to the LIMs because I find them to be more thrilling. I wish Wildebeest had the Waterjets but unfortunatly you can't win at everything.

You really have to try hard not to get this and Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa mixed up with each other despite being two completely different rides.
Ironically, the wild mouse coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa was originally called Cheetah Chase, but was renamed so as not to cause confusion with Cheetah Hunt.

I had to be careful not to mix up the names in this review.
I think it’s possible they could introduce a 4th one sooner rather than later. I mean no one expected them to add mammoth just 2 years after wildebeest. It would be pretty interesting
If they keep bringing people in, I don't blame them.

3 water coasters in 1 water park, that is a must for anyone who loves water slides. Imo, this looks like the worst imo cause the layout but still great.
This is why Splashin Safari is one of the best water parks.
Rapids in west palm beach Florida is getting a near clone of this, I go down there almost every year so I’ll review it when I get on it

If Proslide/Holiday World wants to call this the “first launched water coaster” because of the straight section before the first hill, this would actually still be untrue. Dragon’s revenge at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels has the exact same start, and it opened first. The only difference being it isn’t dueling. So I guess they could’ve advertised it as “first launched *dueling* water coaster”…

I agree the claim is a bit suspect.
Honestly I don’t mind too much on the slides that you have to walk up stairs to the top as I am the type of person who would use the stairs in a public location over the elevator.
However slides that have giant stairs and you have to carry a 4 person raft is the absolute worst! Carrying it at all times for a 30 minute wait or more is tedious!
This is prevalent with many tornado slides.
I agree hauling the rafts is annoying.
@@CanobieCoaster So when you are going about how when you see a slide that has a conveyor pulling it up and you wish you can go up the conveyor, I’m just relieved by the sight of a conveyor on a water slide as I don’t need to carry anything!

I love the water coasters at Sclitterbahn in New Braunfels. Mammoth and Wildebeest are far better.

Assuming I'm arriving at opening, what order should I do the three water slides in order to avoid lines?
Cheetah Chase first since it has no single rider line. Mammoth and Wildebeest at least have single rider lines as fallbacks if needed.

I don't count water coasters like this or alpine slides. I do count mountain coasters and zipline coasters.
