TCcustoms took this 2021 F150 Tremor to the next level! This truck belongs to www.adamspolishes.com and he shipped it from Colorado to Alabama so he could get the TCcustoms treatment! It features a 6" BDS Coilover Lift Kit, custom 22" Vossen Wheels, 37" Nitto Tires, and more! What do you think of this build?

This truck will look great at Walmart. That's about as much off roading as you'll be doing with this thing. Hitting potholes.
37s are a little extreme along with 22's. 35's on 17 or 18 rims would provide better function for a truck. A gear change is definitely needed with 37's.
Yeah I’m not a fan of the wheel size either, but that’s personal preference. Looks sick either way. In my mind, in general, the wheels proportionally should be about half the size of the tire, at most. I.e., 16s or 17s for a 33, 17s or 18s for a 35, etc. I like a little higher meat to metal ratio though.

Even the 35's need a gear change to not feel sluggish if you've got the 4.10. It's tuned specifically for 33's on the tremor and 35's on the raptor.
Yeah, that’s interesting about the gear change. With factory 3.73s in my older 5.0 F-150 and narrow 11” wide 35s, I’ve not felt the need to regear.
Even the install professional is saying you probably shouldn't do this wheel and tire combo
It's about looks. He is attempting to appeal to a particular demographic. Function means very little in those circles. I wonder if he is going to "squat" it now? I'm sure his "in group" would appreciate it.
Wheel an tire combo he is speaking of it’s the offset not the size lol. A more + offset would help with the rubbing.
Too much tire and wheel imo. Some really like, just not me.
I’d say a 35 inch tire with a 4 inch lift. Still, different strokes for different folks.

Yeah, 18”s at the most. I also think when you go with 6” lift, you have to go more aggressive.
17's won't work with the lift spindles. 18" or bigger.
@@cheeznhard While I give props to knowledge of those spindles it's irrelevant. We used to have 40's on 12 x15" rims with different kit. Rode real soft.

Really hard on the transmission and front and rear differentials without re-gearing.
Very nice, but I feel like the brakes just look lost in those rims
To go along with those rims he needs a couple of 36" sub bass speakers mounted in the bed and a 5000 watt amp. Oh yeah, and some music, he needs lots of music. With lots of Bass...and Loud. Don't forget the hot black chicks in neon bikinis, "so COOL!"..oh wait, wrong era, I mean ."So SICK!!"🤣
BDS says their kits aren’t compatible with Tremor models..?

Yes, for 80k with a 20k “market adjustment”. Raptor folks will still change the wheels and tires and lift even more.

On an F150 I'm more of a 4inch lift with 35s.
On a 250/350 a 4 inch with 37s (and only by Carli)

Losing the skid plate? I wouldn’t do it. I think it looks cool, but too much mod IMO

I prefer a smaller wheel an thicker tire 🤷♂️. I have the same Tremor loaded an love it stock
I want to know how you made this work when Fox BDS Website and others say these 6” lifts aren’t meant for the Tremor package. Because I want one lol?
I really like the 1"-2" offset on the sides. The tailgate cover, versatile. The black Ford emblems always look better.
One issue is no regearing which will take its toll on the transmission. Not to mention mpg.

Looks great. I love the idea of 37's on a Tremor. How much of a level/lift did they have to do to make that work without any risk of rubbing, did they have to do any trimming, and how narrow are the tires? I'd be very interested in something like that but need to know more details. That extra road clearance is key for me, an extra 2"s from the stock 33's, awesome. If it would help make the 37's fit especially, I'd be interested in a narrower tire, say a 9" or 10" width instead of 11" or 12" or so. I'd be more interested in a 2-3" level/lift than a 4-6", but I don't know what would be necessary. And I'd prefer 17" or 18" wheels to get the thicker rubber sidewalls.I imagine the narrow tires would put more pounds per square inch on the ground and make it even better on snow and ice, something useful to me. Also, Am I correct that the torsion front diff and rear locker and such all will still work fine? Oh, and lastly, is there anyway to make the full size 37 spare fit under the bed in the regular place? If not a 37, how about a 35? I'm not keen on storing a spare in the bed. Thanks.
37s on 150/1500s kind of look silly to me. Just to much tire for a small truck. 35s are just a perfect fit for them imo
22's = PAVEMENT PRINCESS / MALL CRAWLER. Other than that I think it looks great BDS makes the best lift kits

Our 2021 Ford Explorer timberline edition has all blacked out Ford emblems, makes it look that much special.

37s on half-tons never made sense to me lol. It looks cool when done right, but the drag on the powertrain is horrible.

Exactly! I mean, if your going to pay the inflated price over a non-tremor F150, only to remove the Tremor parts to install your own parts anyway, why not just buy the regular F150 for thousands less?!?! You can buy the Tremor sticker separate if that's it.

I've heard a lot about the Raptor R (RALLY). Choice of 35/37's and some other killer changes. 8 cylinder, supercharger.... When that arrives I'll be a happy camper. Literally!
You can get 37's on the current Raptor as well.
@5:22 it looks like the liner on the front popped back out or it can't be screwed into anything from the trimming. Yikes!! You can see the screw sticking out.

What do you need to do to put 35's on this thing? Do you still have to delete the front skid plate and what's the recommended lift height?

Truthfully I'm in the same boat. I don't know of any shops near me that I would really trust when I put on my lift. So I'll probably make the trek from PA when the time comes.
Wish you could customize the tremor color and not just that orange but these tremors are the sharpest truck on the rd
As always, I find the Town & Country videos interesting and informative. I Currently have a '22 F150 Tremor (402A pkg) on order, about 6 more weeks until delivery, can't wait. On this build, I believe the crash bars could have been saved. I know they can with 35's by taking the time to carefully remove the factory bolts and nuts that are tack-welded to the frame and then reinstall bars on opposite sides. They are curved in a manner that allows substantially more clearance, and you get to keep one more level of safety. If 37's still rub, anyone half decent at fabrication can notch and reweld the bar for clearance. Just my 2 cents, plus I'm speaking from experience. Good looking truck though.

Kinda completely defeats the purpose of buying a Tremor off-road package in the first place. In my opinion an fx4 is a better candidate for this

I hate to nitpick because I really enjoy the T&C videos, but I just have to point out that at 5:24 it looks pretty shabby to have the splash guards in the front hanging so loosely like that. I walked out in the driveway to compare with my stock '21 Tremor and confirmed that the "trimming" they did on those seems to have made those hang out way further. Seems like that's going to catch the first time that truck goes into reverse at wheel lock. Also, like most of the other commenters, I think 22s on a Tremor is a bit sad to see, but to each his own.

beautiful truck, nice aggressive stance but very street worthy. Im not a fan of 22's and prefer a lil more rubber in the same set up with 20's.

Yeah, not a fan of the 22's - screams mall crawler - but if thats the look ya want then you achieved it. Would have stuck to a 18 or 20" wheel.
Ultimately its the customer's baby and they'll live with it. I think the next stop will be getting it re-geared because the tire wheel combo will kill the performance. I'd seriously hope they consider a brake upgrade too.

22” wheels are not great for off roading. You can’t air down your tires. What are you going to do when you do trail turn assist and then drag that rear wheel/tire through some rocks and get a pinch flat and a bent wheel?
Trucks are not great for off roading period, go purchase a jeep if you want to off road.

Ok yes it is crazy and I understand that it's an interesting video but that is a tremor it's ment for off-road use so it's ridiculous to put 37 on 22in wheels I guess if you're weren't interested in going off road then just get a regular f150 and do that

Any chance the owner is selling the stock wheels/tires? I have a Lariat 501a Sport ordered and love the look of the Tremor wheels and slightly larger tires.

Great build! 37’s are huge but as long as the customer is happy that’s all that counts 👌🏾. I’m waiting on my Iconic Silver Tremor to be delivered and I’m going with a 3” lift on 22’s as well. I can’t wait to get it! These Tremors are bad to the bone!
Can you still use the Blue Cruise and all of the other driving technology with a lift like this or do you have to recalibrate the cameras?

Honest question. Why wouldn't you buy a sport or xlt if you were going to effectively negate the tremor packages suspenson. Could have saved 30k

That's pretty sad you can't find a competent shop or trust a shop to do that type of work in Colorado!! I mean if there's a state that has a need for 4x4 trucks, Colorado is certainly one of them!
