I’m on my 3rd Tria laser. Basically they work for about a year. They removed so much acne scars I had from cystic acne and general teen acne I had. And I no way look my age. At least 10 years younger than my peers. It takes time and I did use it more than recommended. But it works!

I’ve been using the Tria consistently for over 3 years. It has made major changes/improvements in my fine lines/pigmentation. 3 months on - one month off to allow the collagen to built. I have to point out that using a totally different modality at the same time is not going to skew the results you are looking for. Tria is a laser meant to built collagen. NuFace/ Clareblend mini etc. are electrical currents that tighten muscles and are not collagen builders. 2 completely different tools meant for two different results. Ultra sound, radio frequency and LED offer different results also. As long as you follow the protocols correctly you should see the results in each category.

    • @womanofacertainage5892
      @womanofacertainage5892 4 года назад +1

My understanding is NuFace results in more ATP production, which then results in more collagen production. Is that not accurate?

I was STUNNED when you said you were bare faced. Your completion is so even and you look 35 at the most! I love that I can SEE the incredible age reversal on your face due to your hard work. Thanks to you I have been keeping my face smooth and more youthful looking, still working on my eye bags and crepiness along with several wrinkles in the chin zone. Might invest in the Nu Face. I’d be lost in this age fight without you Angie. I’m almost 60. Thank you!!! 💕💫💕💫💕🕊😊

I love the tria laser! I've had mine for 5 years which is amazing. Still works exactly the same. I don't use it as intended though I don't have time to use it everyday so instead I'll do 2-3, level 3 treatments back to back, consecutively in one sitting. Maybe once or twice a month. Works amazing that way!

Thanks for this review and your thoughtful analysis. I also liked the Tria eye laser. I went through one course of treatment. I was going to do it annually. When I went back to use, it was dead. I wrote Tria, asking that they repair or replace it as the warranty had lapsed a few days earlier and I’d only used it for one course of treatment. They said no.

When I tuned in, your skin looks terrific. Your skin is much less red! If you go back and look at your side by side pix, you will notice it. It is particularly noticeable above your lip and on the sides of your face. Also look to the triangle area to the right and left of the middle of your chin. Far less red. I also have a redness issue and I think I will get it for that.
Please go back and look at your side by side pictures focusing only on the color of your skin.
Even the apples of your cheek are far less red. This is even more visible in your video.

i have bothe the tria. one for the face and one for the eyes i just couldnt stand the pain and redness after using the one for the eyes many people also said that in their review. however i love the tria for the face and could not be without it. it tightens mys skin and give me a real glow. everyone who saw me when i used it remarked on how fresh i looked.. i have very tender skin and maybe thats why i could get on with the tria for the eyes. im glad that your having great success with it, i never recieved any of my trias free of charge for anyone who may read this. its one of the very best devices i had used and i have lots of them. i couldn't stand the new face trinity which everyone seems to love. i hate the metalic taste i got when using the gel. of course i didnt know that you could use water instead. i found that out from a utube who does videos herself. she gave me lots of tips. i jus couldnt be bothered slathering all that gel on all the time, it was far to much had work for m. i sold it for next to nothing on eBay. thanks for you enjoyalbe videos

I'm just so inspired by your dedication and commitment to continue on, even if it's not fun, or even painful-ugh! All that said, I did see an improvement in your skin. It seemed to me that your face looked more refined and lifted, and ironically in the 'after' photo, your skin was even less red! I so appreciate all you do and look forward to every new video you put out-you're the best!

Your skin looked amazing at baseline but it definitely helped with your skin tone and texture! It seems like it got rid of all of your redness!
I had laser done a year ago by a dermatologist to help my rosacea. This Tria seems like a much less costly way than my 3 laser appointments that virtually gave me the same results 😅.

I completely disagree with you on this, I have had my larger tria laser for some months now and have seen great results. I use it all over my face and neck and chest area and it works in all areas including my forehead. I use it daily for 8 weeks and then rest my skin for 4 . I have no pain other than a little stinging to begin with , I find it quick and easy to use and am so glad I discovered it as it is the only fraxel laser treatment on the market for home use here in the UK . I also bought at an offer price which makes it great value

I just bought it ,yesterday it's on the way !, I no joke got the big laser for £199 and then get this is swear , the eye laser for £1 !, Yes one pound lol , when you put in EASTER20 promo code in , and this is on trias official website , I'm really excited , as a beautition myself , I know it's not always the case but 9/10 it is , if it doesent cause some discomfort or irritation , or is even slightly painful , then they usually don't have any long term decent results , the nu face has no long term results , it simply temporarily gives an instant fix , like bum cream was once under the eyes, the only microcurrent device I would get and I still wouldent is the ziip ,

The problem is that when your face is 98% perfect, an additional 1% change really isn't visible. One thing I noticed is that your face hasn't aged although you weren't using your Nuface? So I suppose these lasers filled that role to some degree. Someone who isn't doing any sort of treatment to their face at all, would probably see a bigger gain. Thanks for the review... sparing us the pain and expense🌱😊

amanda watson Hey there, yes I love Curology they just took the Vitamin C out and are replacing it with another extra called azelaic acid. Super stoked to try it. For the money, you just can’t beat it. I think the first one is free, don’t quote me on that. I also get the 2 month supply with free shipping.
      - tretinoin 0.012% (unclogs pores, improves fine lines, skin tone, texture and firmness)
      - azelaic acid 5% (fights redness and hyperpigmentation)
      - niacinamide 4% (a form of vitamin B3 that fights inflammation and hyperpigmentation)

    • @dawntruss635
      @dawntruss635 6 лет назад

That's a much lower dose and it's still effective I'll bet, too. I started off at 0.01% (not in the US) and it really peeled. I then went to 0.025% and then to 0.1% and it was too strong. I have filled my Rx for the 0.05% and will try it next. Stronger doesn't mean better. It takes no medication to get an effective result. I metabolize very slowly and thus don't need much medication. This was true for Botox and antibiotics or other medications. More does not equal better. It just means more.

Monika Nan The devices address different issues. The laser addresses texture, lines, that sort of thing. The Nuface addresses firmness. Since my biggest concern is that my jaw and neck aren't what they used to be, I'd pick the Nuface if I could only have one of these.

Thank you for this great video. I have the all over face Tria that you demo here.. Please do not take this as an insult as it is not intended to be. You talk about the pain factor and make it sound rather intense. My facial skin is thicker or plumper than yours is. (I'm 63) I have never felt pain using this product...even at Level 3 and had very little redness. I feel only the type of sensation that you get when you get that pins and needles feeling in your hands or feet. I really appreciate your honest review. Just to add that you can use this device anywhere... watching TV...I use mine while I'm sitting in bed reading so it doesn't feel like I'm having to set time aside only for this. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦.

I wondered too. The laser is small in a larger ring setting. It only works if the laser is in full contact with skin. Figure if the item was sold on QVC their legal department makes sure they won't get sued for selling anything dangerous. That was my thinking when I bought it. They did loose a customer for peptide eye creams. I haven't used the facial laser. Sagging is my problem. Why wasn't this stuff around when I was young and we only had moisturizers.
I loved it. A professional laser does change the skin color and few doctors have the full range.

Hey Angie! I have thought for the past few months that your skin looked absolutely radiant and beautiful! And now that I’ve seen this video I don’t know if it’s from this laser or most likely from your NuFace or all your excellent skin care?! I do have my NuFace but I’m so lazy I don’t use it… It’s like I can’t possibly take eight minutes or so out of my day to do it. 🙄 So, today I am back on my NuFace! I just went and plugged it in. You have truly put yourself through so much he$& for all of us! Ouch! I appreciate all your efforts so very much!

I think the most improvement was definitely around the eye area. I've had the Tria Age-Defying Laser for over 10 years now and love it - never had an issue with it or had to replace it. I hope I never do, because these suckers ARE NOT cheap. I have rosacea and the Tria is the best option for me. Also avoiding alcohol, dairy products and sugar helps with rosacea flare-ups. The Tria literature (and this video) say start at the lowest level, which is good. In my case though I tried 1/2 first and found they weren't effective enough for me and went to level 3 after several days. Personally, I don't feel pain of any kind; just makes my face temporarily red, and I've never had an issue with it not connecting to my forehead. (I will say that sometimes you have to hold/maneuver it differently to get it to pulse the light, which can be a bit annoying).

    Very thorough (and thoughtful) review!
I guess the real question is, what kind of professional laser treatment can you get for that kind of money...which rather depends on where you live, of course. What with the discomfort and time commitment necessary, it’s probably only worthwhile if you don’t have easy access to a good dermatologist.
Which is pure speculation on my part (I might add), I haven’t actually ever done a laser treatment. Thinking about it though, mainly for pore size reduction. It’s too weird, I‘ve been thinking about it for a while now....I could afford it...but somehow I‘m too lazy too actually go through with it. Guess my pores don’t bother me all that much, after all - lucky me 🙃
Oh, and I agree, your skin looks very, very nice! One would never guess your real age from the way you look, even without makeup 👍

You can get a couple of IPL treatments for $500 and probably one Clear + Brilliant (the equivalent wavelength + power as these) although as you say, prices vary by location. But of course you then have these lasers to use again and again. More powerful lasers are more like $1,500 per treatment.

I purchased the small Tria a couple of years ago. I use it on all the problem areas on my face and hands. I apply it to a smaller area of skin for the minute time limit. Increasing the penetration. I have had a slight burn in the past, so you have to be careful. I use it under my eyes, nose folds, corner mouth lines, around my veins in my hands, etc. It definitely plumps those areas. I only do it when the areas lose their plumpness. The plumpness may be due to inflammation. I also use the Derninator for three years, Tretinoin .1% and Botox since the late eighties. I am in my 60's. People guess my age to be early 40's. I'm avoiding the knife!

I enjoy your videos! WARNING to your viewers-the Tria Age Defying laser, it may stop working whether you use it or not after approximately 2 years. Even if it should be in perfect condition. Mine did and there are similar stories all over the internet. I paid $500 for it and used it for about 2 months regularly. We moved out of our our house because it was being renovated. I packed the Tria in its original box and planned to use it as soon as the remodel was complete. When we moved back into our home, the TRIA wouldn’t do anything. I called customer service at least 4 times so TRIA could fix the situation and no one would help me. They acted like I needed to buy a $500 laser every few months. I threw it in the trash. What a waste of $500! Don’t waste your money!

Thanks for a very complete review. Always amazing to me how different everyone’s experience can be. I have the larger Tria and I agree the time investment is a lot, but for me the redness is gone within an hour after using and I don’t really feel any pain (it is a tingling feeling) and does make my skin feel dryer so I use a facial oil after. But my skin is naturally oily.. I also see a big improvement in my forehead wrinkles (although it is difficult for me to get connection there too, but I can get the connection and it is worth it!). Love how you are willing to try all of these devices and give us your thoughts! Thanks :)

I love the Tria facial smoothing laser. It doesn’t hurt, but the skin feels hot like a sunburn afterwards. The only difference in the levels is the duration of the treatment in each treatment area. I only use level one I use it 5 days a week for 4 weeks, break for 2 weeks then use it 3-5 days a week for another 4 weeks. I did use my micro current device in the same timeframe because it also aids healing. It takes 3+ months to start seeing the impact if new collagen production. I also used PMD for a month or so prior to starting the Tria treatments and resumed using during the Tria down time, specifically during the 6 month breaks. When I am breaking from Tria I do .5mm micro-needling once a month. Results are amazing and totally worth it. I don’t use Retin-a

People still think I am in my mid 20's so I will say it works. Diet, hydration, exercise all play a crucial role as well. And I did have really bad discoloration and fine lines at a young age because I tanned non stop for almost 2 decades. Beds, sun I didn't matter, I was a tanning addict. OMG does that upper lip hurt. I went through the pain and now I still have dark hair on my upper lip. It did make a difference in the amount I had and I need to do some more sessions but I can so remember the pain. Bless your heart for going through this experiment for us. I would though consider buying the small one for around my eyes if it goes on sale. I would probably use it on my upper lip for my horrible lip lines I have.
