    I've had this for a year and I'm still not even sure it works, Unlike how I know using green tea and redlight works and I've seen the results but not lyma. Actually got terrible bumpy and sporty skin on my lower face and chin from the gliding so now just hold it on my skin. Really good to see a real review of this device.

    • @10YearsYounger
      @10YearsYounger  10 месяцев назад

      Yea its subtle. It's not like microcurrent or RF where you see results very clearly.

    Thanks for such a thorough and extended review. I'm wondering if a full red light therapy panel may be just as, if not more, effective (?) but of course individual results will always vary. However, the subtle results on your face are visible. The power of facial massage should be considered as well and has been positively shown to improve skin elasticity.

      I think the dermalux one is the best.

    A friend of mine got one a while back and she said it has improved her skin, but didn't meet the claims made by the manufacturers. After some research I found a Greek company called Zeus lasers and bought a device from them for alot less. Just started using it but Im going to buckle down for the winter and give it a good go.

    Great review, thank you so much! I have been so curious about this device. But as you said, the price and time commitment is quite ridiculous. Glad you did see some nice improvement store.

      Well subtle improvements, its difficult to say it will give any drastic change. Thanks for watching!

    Cannot believe you are 47. Guess all the devices you use paid off. Love the reviews you do.
    I am currently interested in an ultrasound device called “skinova” from a German company. Not too many RUclipsrs do reviews on it. Hope can see your reviews one day.

    I am in my 6th week now with the laser and can see improvements around my eyes and forehead, my melasma on the cheeks and my neck. As it is so time-consuming (I do it while watching tv or checking emails) I'm hoping I will keep up with the twice-a-week routine after the first 12 weeks. I may get a second one next black friday to cut down time to keep the routine up. I ordered it from Lyma directly and I assume as I am in Germany received the one with the red light, which is very relaxing to me. Happy it is not the blue one as I don't struggle with acne or the like.

    I used this for 3 months and didn’t notice any difference at all. It is extremely time consuming and, in my opinion, really not worth the money. I consistently use a red light face and neck mask and get good results with that. Thank you so much for this comprehensive review. i would be interested to know if you have kept using it and whether you have seen results.

      I'm 75 as well and just started using a Lyma Laser January 1. I find the Mist & Glide rather useless and annoying to keep applying as I apply before I got to a new area. However, watched one of their videos and they said you can use them Serum and Cream and that gives you enough glide, and that does work. My face looks better after that, for a while. After the Mist & Glide, my skin looks worse. I'm about to write to them about the Mist & Glide, which I find useless.

    Snake oil (but all that facial massaging might have an effect)

    • @10YearsYounger
      @10YearsYounger  10 месяцев назад

      Yea, may be lymphatic drainage which gives the effect.

  • @MrChristiangraham
    @MrChristiangraham 10 месяцев назад +4

    Makes me wonder if simply massaging your face for an hour a day would have similar effects. I believe I once read about men having similar effects ie improved skin tone etc in comparison to women due to daily shaving.

    • @10YearsYounger
      @10YearsYounger  10 месяцев назад +1

      That's very interesting. Also may have something to do with Lymphatic drainage too

    Damn, 47? You look so good. Some people look older at 37. Your treatments really pay off :) Btw do you still use the black Hifu machine you showed previously? Have you ever used it on your face? I'm thinking about buying it for this purpose but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

    • @10YearsYounger
      @10YearsYounger  9 месяцев назад

      Haven't used the hifu device for a long time. Yes, I only used it on my face and neck, nowhere else. It does give you a lift but you don't want to over use it, once every few months max. Try microcurrent too.

    You say have it next to your computer so you can use it when working or on phone. I wear makeup. Is it ok to use over makeup? Also, when you use the mist and glide, do you have to remove that or do they act as moisterizers and you can leave them on?

    • @10YearsYounger
      @10YearsYounger  8 месяцев назад

      It says you have to clean ur face but they also have a lady in the manual who uses it on models before they go on the runway, so I'm not quite clear.

    First, thank you for sharing. Just curious if u noticed any dark spot disappearing after using lyma ? I have hyperpigmentation issues on my face not sure it’s from sun damage or melasma, just wondering if this device can help with that…

    If I use it on my neck with out looking in a mirror could the bleu light have anyway a waking effect? I suffer from insomnia….and have the Lyma for my neck

    • @10YearsYounger
      @10YearsYounger  10 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not sure. It's just my theory, I might be totally wrong. I think your neck would be fine as it's nowhere near your eyes.

    • @10YearsYounger

      I wouldn't use it over the eyes, I wouldn't use any device there. But they say you can go up to the eye.

    I have had good results..but I noticed my face is more slim...i got some dermal fillers recently and it seems like the laser affects the dermal filler?? ..my thoughts its a good laser but it has limited results

    • @10YearsYounger
      @10YearsYounger  9 месяцев назад

      They say it goes as far as the bone which means it may well affect dermal filler. So I wouldn't use this after spending money on filler.
