    Thanks Angie !!! A TIP... OK...I take one of those small travel size spray bottles and fill with distilled water and then apply the gel to my entire face and when it starts to dry out I reactivate it with a spray of water. I'm saving so much gel and I'm not constantly applying more so I think it makes the process go a bit faster and saves gel (at least in my mind). I'm only about a month in using mine and I'm using it only on one side of my face and it truly is "plumbing" my face even at 76 years old ! xoxo patti 🌸🍃

    A nice hack for the primer is to use Avene or other facial water spray to extend the conductivity. Once I start to feel the stick I do a brief spritz and good to go. Feels great and reduces the amount of primer required.

    Micro current is cumulative, so the effects are not “gone” by morning if you do it at night. It’s sort of like exercise.. you need to be consistent. I do mine at night and see great results! :) anytime of day is good for NuFACE

      I hope so, I was very discouraged when she mentioned about the temporary effect, I mean what is the use of doing it every night if the effect is not going to show/stay? And to spend all the money for practically nothing? I do not have time to do this in the morning, at all, at all!

    I did look up the NuFace customer service info. It suggests you wait 7-14 days between getting Botox and Filler and resuming your sessions. Good to know. Also, they made clear that ‘feeling the electric current’ means you don’t have enough gel and it won’t work as well. You are the best Angie! Always straight advice.

    I'm on month 4 and still use it on my face & neck every night. Love it! It took a while to see a difference on my neck, but it finally kicked in. This product really keeps jowls & lower face in place and is such a routine for me now, I enjoy doing it nightly while watching TV.

      Wellness Gate Hello from India
      Can you please share your neck and jowl routine here. My jowls have become more prominent after using Nuface since the fat surrounding it has melted with micro current

    • @Susanarylander
      @Susanarylander 4 года назад

      Hi! I’m a few weeks into the Nuface. Trying desperately to pick up jowls. It seems to be working a bit so far. I’ll keep going. My question: I do it first thing in the morning before I wash my face. Does it matter that I have natural oils on my face from sleeping? Does that make it less effective?

    • @wellnessgate883
      @wellnessgate883 4 года назад +1

      Neha Harneja Hi Neha! I start at the base of my neck and work upward, then under my jaw line in several spots, then I move up to my chin, and finish with my cheek area. I don’t use the NuFace around my eyes or on my forehead because I have some Botox in those areas, and don’t feel like I need any lifting there.

    • @wellnessgate883
      @wellnessgate883 4 года назад +1

      susana rylander Hi Susana! I don’t think natural face oils would impede the gel from conducting the energy. If you have product on your face (Retin-A or night serum/creams) you may want to use a baby wipe (or splash your face) before applying the gel, but I’m guessing that natural face oils shouldn’t interfere. I wear Retin-A, a night cream & eye cream, and a clear medical type of scotch tape on eye & lip wrinkles at night, so I personally would definitely wash my face in the morning before a NuFace treatment. Enjoy!

    Microcurrent treatments are for the muscles. Not the skin. We use microcurrent in physical therapy for small muscle stimulation. . So in theory there would be no point in doing muscles treated with Botox since they are paralyzed and cannot respond to the current.

    I have been using the NuFace device consistently since March this year and have seen remarkable results. Taking photos monthly as I go and sharing with a few friends that are wowed with the change. I use the NuFace gel as well, but use only a pump all over my face, then wet with a little water if it starts drying. Watch for deals on QVC for the device. The deal I snagged was the Trinity with ELE attachment and four 5.0 tubes of the gel primer for the price of the device alone elsewhere.

    Hi Angie, this is really useful. I’ve had my nuface for a while but I’ve learned some new ideas from this. One thing I do is when my gel starts to dry, I spritz my face with a water bottle spray, the kind you get in a travel kit from a chemist , this refreshes the gel without adding more product xxx

    I have an oil free bottle of aloe that came free with lotion. I added a magnesium tablet (because that is in the NuFace gel) and hyaluronic acid powder. (I should have mixed it in a small amount first. It took a week to fully dissolve.). I am going to compare it to the NuFace gel. So far I cannot tell any difference. I got my Mini on sale had it came with some neat skin care gifts.

    I bought a NuFace Trinity based on these videos, and I was actually really pleased with the results...while the device was working! I wanted to warn others who may read this comment that the device completely quit working after 18 months. For $450 I would expect a device to last longer than 18 months! Unfortunately, I'm now seeing more reviews of this product with similar issues. I especially liked the eye attachment, which seemed to noticeably lift my brows & lids. I would love to find another similar device that could provide the same results, but I will NEVER spend another dime on a NuFace product!

Thanks to Angie, Gothamista, Mixed Makeup, Dr Dray, & Penn.Smith's channels, I ramped up my skincare routine full throttle this past March. I have seen a LOT of improvement in my skin. I rarely breakout, my skin texture has improved, as well as my skin tone, and I feel like my wrinkles have lessened in appearance.

I also only do one area at a time because the gel dries quickly but if any area I am doing starts to feel dry instead of adding more gel (which is pricy) I add water to my face and it gets the gel to glide easier again.

    I bought the NuFace yesterday and was excited to try it, but then I read the package insert and it scared me to death. I know the side effects can be rare, but if it happens to you, then who cares how rare it is. I was especially concerned about how this should never be used near the thyroid. Well, how do you know if you are a safe distance from the thyroid? It seems very scary that it may cause thyroid problems. Also, they say you may see flashing lights if used too close to your eyes. Well, those are retinal flashes and who knows if this could lead to retinal problems. I recently experienced a retinal detachment so anything that could affect my retina is a no go for me. The heart racing, metallic taste in mouth and facial tics that some people experience also makes me extremely nervous. It seems like lots of people have a positive experience with this, but I am way too nervous to try it.

    Angie, How does the nuface hold up? I want to buy one and in doing my due diligence I've read alot of pluses..happy with results. But in the negative column, it doesnt last long. It's expensive, it stops working and the warranty is not very good. I know you buy your own, and you are happy with your nuface but how long does it last? It 'ain't cheap'. One thing that I originally thought the nuface could work for me is specifically at night to add some lift to my cheeks to allow my products to work on my smile lines while I sleep. I have dynamic wrinkles that only began really showing when I turned 31 and I’d just like to soften them. Regardless I think also using it daytime will help with this because even as I smile and express I will be more lifted from nuface so the settling in the wrinkles will be less off.
    Thanks for all your knowledge I will be using the blackfriday deal I think for the mini since I plan to purchase an LED mask as well. ❤

    Thanks so much for sharing. I actually invested in the Pla Skin (Daonix). I find it is very good and a youtuber who is studying to be a derm also gave it a thumbs up. NuFace though appears to be a fine product. For filler I'd wait at least the standard 24 to 48 hours - but maybe longer like you said so that the filler sets. For Botox probably not like you said. Micro needling is where you need to wait - on instructions I got when I had it done. Best wishes.

    Came here to check I've been using my mini correctly. I used it religiously for a couple of weeks before having to stop. Has anyone else had side effects of flashing lights/headaches? I use a lot of the nuface gel and didn't go so close to my eyes as Angie does here as it felt hot. Perhaps I'm just very sensitive. An expensive mistake for me, unfortunately. Glad to read that a lot of people have had positive results though.

      Well, the literature with the Nuface says you have to use it for several months, I think, before the guaranteed results show. However, it is definitely one of those treatments that you have to keep you with to maintain the results. Also, I was using mine at night, but after I heard that you are meant to use it in the morning, I dropped off using it.
      I will say that while I was using it daily, I did get compliments on my skin, but I was also drinking a lot of water and using a new retinol product all at the same time, so I am not sure which was getting me the results!
