    I tried this with aloe Vera gel on one side of my face and the gel primer on the other side... conclusion: cheaper gels will work. I love this device but don’t get fooled into thinking you HAVE to use the gel primer in order for this to work. I also took pictures doing full face of each gel and there wasn’t a difference in results from either gel. All and all... I love the device. Aloe gel works too.

    Microcurrent are conducted into skin by water. Basically anything water based will work, even if it's a face mist. The thing is you don't necessarily want to spray your face every 10 seconds, a gel primer will allow better glide and last until your treatment is complete. You can simply use aloe Vera gel, organic and if possible from freshly cut an aloe Vera leaf, anything good for your skin is in there. Funny how she responded to the fake question mentioning aloe Vera just talking about serums and masks, only to say that she don't recommend using anything than their primer gel 😂

Less than 2% total of citric and absorbic acid and potassium sorbate. You don't have to rinse it off. I let it absorb into my skin then spray with rose water or water for extra hydration. Hi there Toni! The device is safe to use on the neck area in the way shown above. We recommend slow glides on the side of the neck in an upward and out motion. How often is this treatment recommended for aging skin, someone in their 60-70's? Is it safe for someone using Retinols regularly?

    • @MYNuFACE
      @MYNuFACE  5 лет назад +6

      It's recommended to use at least 5 minutes per day, 5 days per week for the first 60 days. You can then move into maintenance mode using 2-3 days per week. The 5-minute facial-lift is all you need, but sometimes it's hard to stop once we start :) and you might want to spend a little more time targeting specific areas with the advanced holds. That's totally fine. Our client services team is always available to assist, info@mynuface.com. They're based in California and available M-F from 9am-4pm PST. Generally speaking should be fine to use with retinols. Just gauge your skin's comfort level and ask your physician if you're using a particularly powerful Retinol.

      So I've been using this device for 2 months now, like recommended. And I've missed about 5 days here and there, so I don't know if that makes a whole lot of difference, but I really haven't noticed much of a change yet in the firmness of my skin. I'll keep using it a little longer, because maybe I have tougher, less resilient skin than most people!

      Hi Elaine, the most important thing is we can't vouch for what's in those other gels. We know for certain our NuFACE Gel Primers were intentionally formulated by our founders who are Mirocurrent Aestheticians to provide the very best results with your device. Be mindful of conductivity, additives that might block the current or irritate your skin, and ingredients that will boost your microcurrent results.

Some clients have shared they use alternatives like aloe, but we have not tested with other products and cannot vouch for the effectiveness. Be sure anything you use is oil free and worthy of being put on your face.

      Hi Candice! A specifically formulated activator is needed to deliver the microcurrent into the skin.
