really good video, was a lot of fun to watch good stuff! The one thing I would like is more commentary about the games, and more action like music instead of lowkey stuff you know? Like more like dark pits theme instead of persona chill music to relax and study to

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the feedback! I didn't know how ham I wanted to have the music, so I just went with some more chill remixes. I can see where you're coming from though.
Commentary depends on what's available, and there was definitely some that I could have used. I think if I have a future video on just singles, I can probably afford more time for longer clips and greater context. Thanks for watching!

I noticed that you wear earbuds while you play. Are you listening to game audio or music from your phone? And if you are listening to music, what type/genre do you like to listen to while playing?

Hey! So I would say that in 90% of sets that I actually play, I don't wear headphones or earbuds. However, at larger events or in high-stake sets, I tend to put them on to avoid distraction.
For this tournament, I popped in my earbuds to focus on the match at hand. I was listening to my own music (admittedly Pokemon music lmao), but I generally have a preference towards higher-energy music because it tends to be audible regardless of setting. In some venues, if you have a very loud crowd, it is hard for some music to be easy to hear, and so you'd have to tune up the volume quite a bit. Generally, I listen to pop/rock tunes or video game OSTs for sets.
For headsets, I will use them most of the time that they are provided as part of the setup. These ones are game audio, but it ties into the previous point about these instances often being more high stakes. My personal usage of external sound is mostly based on if I think it will help me focus on my set. Hope this helps!
