Fishing the rigolets and Lake Borgne area

As downsouth louisiana anglers we all Love speckled trout even tho they can be a little tricky at times.The month of March brings speckled trout and high WINDS into the marsh as they are passing threw.the good thing is we are able to catch bass,redfish,flounder and many more plus those delicious specks all in the same place.So plan a day where u can maneuver with light winds and a moving tide and you should be good.$$

I love the amount of flounder I've seen caught in the last year or so...hoping it's a sign of what's to come (fingers crossed the BC Spillway stays closed a few more consecutive years)...

Yea man if they keep that spillway closed for at least 5 or so more years our Estuary is goin to hard to beat the trout have been really nice this year

I love your slow retrieve or bounce off the bottom, that is how I fish. I notice most guys are constantly whipping it. I guesst whatever works for you. Are you fishing a cut in lake Borne or is that lake Catherine?
