today I head out on the lake and try to catch a five fish limit for largemouth bass it was a great morning throwing some top water and flipping if you enjoy that this video should be right up your alley.my bag at the end of the day was 16.31 and the kicker bass weighed 5 pounds ..thanks for watching and please subscribe.. launched out of rigolets marina and ran across lake catherine to lake borgne and soon as we entered lake borgne at a well known fishing spot we were welcomed with diving birds and a bunch of little trout and plus a bunch of boats as well but managed to still put together a nice box and ended the day with 35 specks 3 bass and 1 redfish..
These golf course ponds hold some BIG bass!!!

I have had the view from the opening many times.
Been to Bussey a few times! I live an hour and twenty minutes from there and with fuel prices can’t go as often as I’d like. Figured out one things for sure… they fight twice! Lol. Once when you hook up, they give up in the middle, and then you get em 20-15 foot from the boat and they act like Rocky Balboa in the 15th round vs Apollo Creed!! Lol! I love that little pond though.
Yea man Its great I love it as well but I have some revenge I have to let loose on these fish they bullied me lol but I can’t wait for spawning time I’m lookin for that 8+

Nice specks not sure if ya seen the numerous posts I was putting on de Sportsman but had very distinctive “hash” marks on my Igloo with thick marks at 18 20 and few out to 22 inches and all that came from Trestles using Lunker City Shakers mostly 3.75 in Vampire or Jungle Jazz or Mackerel in 4.5 in(big baits big fish,typically)🎩🎣🐠

SWEET Slam! Best part about it was you were the only one out there...you may have been late to the party, but the party waited for you. LOL Did you catch them all on the same lure (if not, what lures did you use?)?
Yea I was their early as well but I just didn’t decide to leave when the other boats did because i see that as a opportunity for more fishing spots but the baits I used were shrimp creole and good ole holy joely.

I love your slow retrieve or bounce off the bottom, that is how I fish. I notice most guys are constantly whipping it. I guesst whatever works for you. Are you fishing a cut in lake Borne or is that lake Catherine?

Yea man if they keep that spillway closed for at least 5 or so more years our Estuary is goin to hard to beat the trout have been really nice this year

In the state of Texas that right there would be illegal sized red. Here they gotta be 20 inches to 28 inches
well in Louisiana we do things a little different 16 inches minimum total length 27 inches maximum Five per person per day No more than one over 27 inch maximum total length if u musty know my guy
