Installed bird proofing myself after your tutorial. I followed the advise of 5-6 ft. pieces and flanged the the fencing with a scrap piece of poplar found in the shed. Working on the patio instead of the roof made placing the prefabricated pieces easy to install. Every step, tools recommended and direction worked expertly. I was very prepared and finished the job in about two hours. It gave me the confidence to bird proof my rooftop air conditioner. Thank you.
You’re a great “ambassador to the brand” Henry. I’m in Northern California and noticed my dad’s panels were dirty. I climbed up, cleaned them for him and noticed everyone else’s panels were dirty too. I asked dad how much he would have paid for that service and he said “I dunno, $200-$300 maybe?” For just an hour? Maybe an hour 15? It doesn’t take much math to figure that one out. I looked locally and yep, no one does it. I’ve ordered supplies and watched a few of your videos. I’m ready to do this. Hopefully fulling running in a couple of weeks. Thanks, dude!
i’m from san diego calif and have a lot of window cleaning accounts and i believe if i invest in the solar panel equipment i could get a lot of my customers to get onboard! what do you think henry?
Grate video my friend you have helped me a lot and I'm very thankful. May I ask does galvanised steel mesh that is coated with pvc rust when it's been cut? I know that galvanised steel don't rust but when it's been cut and exposing the inside of the steel will that make it rust. Thank you from Australia
I was told you shouldn't really be pressure washing them ,due to being electric connected, and i was also told not to walk on or lay on them as fear of cracking them, under you.,no mention of ladders or some guys had no harness on ,and that roof was no steep
First we pressure wash under panels and micro inverters are sealed plus we dont use pressure on panels mainly to get debree off the roof and lay on panels only when we dont have ladder access and we use a blankit to protact the glass for bird proofing
I have some bird problems for my 12 panels on top of Spanish tiles. Quoted two companies and both are charging my $5000+ for cleaning and bird proofing. I was thinking of $1000-$2000. I would hire you guys in an instant if I was in SoCal (I'm in Reno, NV)
So the yellow tip for the roof? How about under the solar panel do you recommend using a different size tip? I seen people who do and don’t use a pressure washer under the panels and just use a leaf blower instead.
yes they are extremely strong we don't suggest this but sometimes there is no way to put up a ladder and the frames are where you want most of the weight to be
Good job guys, I can do this myself but my knees probably won't be happy when I'm done regardless of wearing kneepads. I'm curious about the clips, they looked metal in your video. Do you recommend metal or a nylon clips?
yes, and also this guy got on top of the panels, and also they using metal clips, and not counting steping on tile, I wish to know if everything is okay after this guys done, anybody can let us know?
@@rosadiaz4495 Rosa yes we do do step on the panels or lay on the panels they hold up to 2400 pounds and your wrong we use nylon clips for birdproofing and yes we step on spanish tiles that roofers installed without breaking them...we do this without breaking any solar panel warranties.
I'm about to bird proof my own solar panels tomorrow. Quick question. Is laying on the panels safe? Like damaging them wise. I know it's safer than working off a ladder 2 stories up. How can I be sure that I won't break them?
u not suppose to spray under the panels in case wiring not isolated properly $600 to $800 more chances have damaging there panels or roof thats a gimmick bird netting a clean I say ok save u money im a solar installer thats if u want it done but u dont need it really

How’s your business going?
Hi guys,
Is it better to buy 6 or 8 inch mesh? What's your reason to your response?
Many thanks from South Africa 🇿🇦
a little late on the suggestion but you can always fold the 8inch mesh to make it shorter, but you cant make the 6inch longer.
Man your guys content never disappoints!!! Love the work and the hustle!
Glad to hear it… bigger things to come

Hi, My name is Ralph Soria from Dallas,Texas. I Just subscribed. Great videos.
The netting is great for keeping critters from going under but how do you keep them from craping all over your roof around your panels?
I don't belive there is 100percent bird removal but you can also try spikes on all the peaks
Great video thanks. Think I'd crack my roof tiles by walking on them in the UK though.
What’s the name of or link to the roller and wand used to clean the panels at the end?
C1000 solatec

could you make a video exactly how the clips are placed on the wire i was trying to see it, but could not follow
Sure, I can do that.
Thank you your awesome 👍👍
No problem 👍
This was a great video on bird proofing. How come your guy had to lay on the panels though? Could he have done that part with a ladder on the side?
It's more dangerous to be working off a ladder on a two story building rather than laying flat on the panels
