Power of RUclips. Never done any PC assembly or windows installation before and found this video and got curious if it is really this simple to install? Went back to watch some How to put together PC components videos, got some old used components from friends, stick them together... and after a few nights of videos and trial and error.. i have a Windows 10 running on the first PC i have ever put together! Incredible, i never thought i will make it work!
I accidentally formatted everything in my laptop including windows 10. I was terrified and gotta watch your tutorial. The boot menu was different, but I could install properly with your instructions. Thank you so much!

This totally worked for me, too. In fact I didn't even get the activate Windows messages. It just installed and works like normal install for me. Glad to have moved on from Win7 to Win10. Thank you!

little tip for anyone who just installed Windows 10 and then instantly installed GeForce Experience (if you have Nvidia card) and it has not found a Driver. you literally HAVE to update your PC via the updates like he showed in the video. for some reason GeForce experience, or even finding a driver manually will NOT install unless you get the latest windows updates. ive no idea why but it will keep saying "wrong driver" or something like that even if it is the correct driver until you get the latest windows updates.

It was stating windows 11 was not compatible but managed to change the security setting in the BIOS to fix this. might be worth while adding that in as a quick check before saving and exiting. this was soooooo helpful after building my 1st computer i couldnt get my sata drive to read and i kept getting bios. This worked after following instructions and plugging in my sata drive to the power source lol

I have two questions: 1) Is it safe to unplugg the bootable usb during the screen "Windows needs to restart to continue" (video 5:17) or I have to do it when screen is black, after 100%. 2) If Windows update has installed a driver for my Radeon RX5700 XT Pulse graphic card, do I have to unistall it, before I install the latest driver from AMD site by myself? The same question for audio, lan and usb drivers of motherboard. Thank you in advance!!
Once you see the countdown you're good to remove the USB drive. No, it will just be outdated. Install the new one over the top of the old one. You might want to use the AMD adrenaline software. Same with the rest, just install over what's there already.
I followed the procedures here and it worked great for a whole day. Now a day later I am getting the endless loop of diagnosing your computer, and checking your disk, this may take over an hour errors. These errors always seem to come back and I am not sure why this is. Should I reinstall windows 10 again? How do I get rid of these errors?
at the screen you see the table of drivers, mine appeared empty - saying " no igned device drivers were found" does the Win10 download from that page *not* include drivers?

Please help.. my laptop started running slow after I reinstalled windows 10 Edit: so it happens that when the drivers we’re getting automatically downloaded and installed, the display driver was the one affecting the pc.. I had to disable it.. at least solved the issue for now, maybe there’s another way?
No more offline account. Privacy is a thing of the past. I did a new install on new ssd and when I went to web sights I didn't have to sign in. Imagine that. And edge hides your favorites and why. Great video tho Thanks.

Hi Rob, quick question (or to anyone who may know) at 1:10 you are able to choose Windows 10 Pro. When I do this it doesn't give me Pro as an option it just defaults to Home edition. I want to upgrade to Pro as I have a 2nd laptop running Pro and want both to run Pro so I can remote access laptops. Can you tell me why or how to get Pro as an option as per your vid at 1:10? thanks

You can change wall paper on Windows that hasn't been activated using photos app. Open the picture you want, right click and choose set as.... then set as background (or lock screen if you want).
So what I gathered from this video is that buying a key is gonna be much easier and you'll be better off in the long run. You're gonna wanna access all that personalization stuff sooner or later. great video but getting windows from the source is gonna be what you wanna do in the long run.
Thank you very mucn I was able to fix my computer. As first I had to reinstall it again because I didn't know you were supposed to unplug the usb. I accidentally Installed windows XP nothing was working so thanks again.
If you got such error don't worry I got the solution . I struggled with this issue . Just go to google and search for windows 7 usb tool gigabyte . Download and run it , select your pendrive and it will install all the drivers needed for the usb . This solved my issues
Just to help anybody out if you don’t have an activation key. You can save on image my right clicking and go to the file and set as your Lock Screen or Home Screen. Idk if it’s recent but you can change all of that without having the key

By chance, did you enable any overclock (RAM (XMP), CPU, or GPU? If so, temporarily disable that and see if that improves anything.

Don't have the internet connected during the installation to get an offline account. That's the only change

Every time I upgrade to 10 it works for half a day and then I get the blue screen. PNP Fatal Error!

Nope, nobody uses the personalization options. They're useless.

After I click install I get “no device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers” Someone help
You can try these steps. It will wipe the drive to a clean state. thegeekpage.com/no-device-drivers-were-found-windows-installation/
If you got such error don't worry I got the solution . I struggled with this issue . Just go to google and search for windows 7 usb tool gigabyte . Download and run it , select your pendrive and it will install all the drivers needed for the usb . This solved my issues
