    Fun fact- if you suck so hard in manual battles like me you can use the change of the ways to give Dawn's Light to the Tzeench faction on the left of you. That will force Teclis army out of the settlement and you can teleport with kairos army across the water to ambush him , which gives some nasty bonuses to the auto resolve- 0 loses for you. This way you save both of the tzeench factions (Because oxyotl wipes him on the left of you anyway and he actually moves his armies to the given territory) , possibly konfederating or vassalizing both 🙂It makes your tzeench playthrought less... lonely in term of allies 😀

      I did something similar, I gave dawns light to myself and then traded it to sathoreal, to become my vassal. Peaced him out of the war with teclis. Proceeded to conquer everything on the right site of the start. By the time the last slaanesh settlement was mine and kairos arrived back in the starting province, oxyotl declared war on me and sathoreal. Jumped over with kairos to dawns light, declared war on teclis and released sathoreal from vassalage. Facing oxy and teclis on his own, confederation was immediatly an option. Idk if I got lucky that teclis did not declare war on me, during my trip to the right site of the southern chaos waste. At the end, it took me around 30 turns to conquer the whole southern chaos wastes.

      @@IKaktusJackI Weird. I was 4 grimoires short of being able to transfer it to the Flaming Scribes. With no way to get more without losing Sarthorael to Teclis. Teleporting also takes too long to setup while waiting for the initial blue horror reinforcements. Are you guys playing on Very Hard/Legendary? Cause I'm doing Very hard.

    • @IKaktusJackI
      @IKaktusJackI 2 месяца назад +1

      @@Nukerunin I do play on VH/Legendary. You have to immediatly use the rite that gives you grimoires after 2 turns. On turn 3 you should have enough grimoires to use transfer settlement on the port that Teclis took on his first turn.

    I found it better to get a temporary pact with the Slaanesh faction so you can use the other Tzeentch faction as bait to ambush Oxyotl. That way Kairos can focus on wiping him out and that avoids him being stuck so far away and having to run all the way back.

    • @ElvenPlotArmour

      I definitely agree that's the more sensible way to do it. My original cut talked a bit more at length at how that's the option I'd probably recommend but the video was getting a bit long. Maybe I was too heavy handed in the editing 😅

    FYI for immortal difficulty. I found auto'ing Teclis was best as he retreated back to Dawn's Light when I manually fought him which ruined the ability to advance. Auto'ing only loses Blue Horrors which is nice. (recruited melee lord as the secondary, not sure if recruiting spell lord makes this easier or harder). Also by doing this I had Sarthorael sack Dawn's light making it a steal for me and I was able to take capital on turn 6

    I've never even considered that confederation with Sarthorael was an option. I just assumed he was designated to be Teclis food. I would probably change up the strategy a bit after Teclis is wiped out.
    Finish the starting province and get your confederation. Leave the Slanesh faction to the east to their own devices for now. Push TicTacTo back a bit. Then, prepare to kill Oxyotl. I would station my armies close by. So that when he takes the final settlement to your west, you can do 1 of 2 things.
    1) siege his damaged army in the settlement he just took.
    2) declare war on him and use 2 armies to ambush bait him.
    Once he loses his main army, it's just clean-up duty as you push further west. Then turn back around and finish off the minor Slanesh faction to have the whole southern wastes.
    The victory conditions want you to kill nurgle. So after you capture the last settlement to the east, you can sail north a bit to capture the High elf islands to use as a staging area to sail further north and hit Ku'gath with a sneak attack. You can probably catch his capital undefended. With borrowed time and halt army that whole opperation should be fairly easy.

    • @ElvenPlotArmour
      @ElvenPlotArmour  6 месяцев назад +1

      This is very easily the strategy I recommended but I decided to go all out for those playing on Normal who wouldn't really benefit from sitting around so long.
      Btw, Sarthorael is absolutely meant to be Teclis fodder - it was a ball ache working out a guaranteed successful way to save him T3 😂

  • @Macdaddy_o

    This was very solid. I’ve completed kairos before, but it was constantly on edge of disaster. I followed along with your plan and adapted as it went. For whatever reason, I never thought of using transfer settlement to sell back for a NAP. I’ve used that several times to keep my number of enemies low, Which has made the campaign much easier.

    Love this but I've tried multiple times and the randomness on the confederation can be tricky.
    Sometimes he's willing to go by turn 10 but is in a terrible situation (-2000g) or he'll wait too long and eventually consider me a strategic threat.

    • @ElvenPlotArmour
      @ElvenPlotArmour  6 месяцев назад

      There's definitely a lot of factors at play. Don't forget you can always Vassal, then savescum and see if he'll confed after you end the vassalage. If you're honourbound simply keep him the right amount exposed and take out Oxy until he sees the light :)

      He takes longer to get there now in my 3 tests, but I did mention, from Turn 12 onward you need to keep an eye on those 2 eastern settlements. If they start falling, it's time to crisis hire - but you don't want to pay the upkeep longer than you have to as you'll send yourself broke.

      On a test run I had that problem too. I circumvented it after by having Kairos in reinforcing distance and trying to block the enemy move. If they attack the empty lord having to reinforce isn't that problematic since Teclis' army is fairly slow.
