Audiovox VBP2000 - Testing Out a Portable VCR in 2024

- I recently went to a garage sale and found this portable VCR by Audiovox for $25 and I decided to test it out live on camera. It's the Audiovox VBP2000 model and it works amazingly. Plays VHS and you can even plug in your RCA cords to play games, DVD players, etc. It also came with a cord that plugs into the outlet in a car. Should I make a Round 2 of this video and test it out in my car?

This thing is awesome and I'd love to bring it out camping with my portable battery that has a standard outlet connection. I had the idea of shooting a video like that or shooting something like using the VCR at a park plugged into my car. Any suggestions are welcome!

I have literally only found a CRT and VCR once ever at a garage sale, and it was the very first one I dropped in on a few years back; i havent found anything interesting at the next dozen garage sales and just quit looking that way. Always just random junk or old clothes. Looks like you have better luck with those!
I think estate sales are where it's at! This one was definitely a garage sale and to be honest I don't have much luck at garage sales either UNLESS you start conversing with the home owners. I always ask if they have any VHS and they laugh and say they probably got rid of them a long time ago but some people say they still have them all in a box - then you can ask for other things cause you've started a (short and surface level) relationship with them. So I ask if they have old TVs, VCRs, old video games. It has to feel organic though and it's fun because they're going down memory lane as they look for you.
