- Hey all. This is my early game build and Beginner’s guide for the weapon Bloodhound's Fang, which is incredibly powerful throughout all of Elden Ring. This guide is basically uncut, and you can follow me directly to get an early game overpowered (OP) Bloodhound's Fang Build!
In One Hour:

Things you can add if you’re feeling dangerous (lol)
-Blue Dancer Charm (Highroad Cave)
Under 16 weight 13% more physical damage, under 20 Weight 8% more. After 20 minimal increase (3-5%). After 30 none.
-Radagon’s Soreseal (behind the big dragon in the fort). Added stats but increases damage to you by 10-20%.

They give the fang early for people who are just learning. Some people i know who think the game was too hard and quit and didn't want to play again. I showed bloodhound fang and they played and liked the game, im glad they had that weapon there for them. They would have never played again if it wasn't for that. Also bloodhound fang is such a awesome weapon.

How did you just describe my first elden ring experience perfectly
I died to normal enemies and wanted to quit like 3 times but after getting this build I easily beat Margitt
And now I have a +9 bloodhound fang and just beat Margott the Omen King
Bloodhound fang is so damn good and the moveset ash of war looks so freaking cool. This weapon still is viable in ng+7 so good and very early to get as well
I've been playing Elden Ring since it was released. I've been wanting to try new builds and these guides are very helpful.

You can kill the dragon faster with blood flame blade and spinning weapon ash . Under 30 seconds . Use scythe with 55 bleed

Ya missed the part where ya can summon another tarnished to help fight Bloodhound. Makes the fight super easy even for noobs. What no one talks about is the BHF is the ONLY sword that does the reverse slice attack and when followed by R2, it launches ya towards the enemy with a followup charged attack. Once ya get it up to +9 and use blood grease, it can take out a whole group of enemies with only a couple of frenzied back attacks. There's a reason why this weapon is used so heavily in PvP as well to this day. A +9 single handed BHF is better than dual wield katanas. Also BHF is a DEX weapon so pump most of your points into vigor and DEX and use talismans that buff Dex. I just unlocked moonveil katana and its ok but BHF is still better, especially with the L2+R2 deadly combo.
It’s actually pretty quality. Once you hit 60 Dex you should go for strength. It gets a “B” in Dex & a “C” in Strength. With the two handed bonus once you hit 30 strength (45 2 handed) you’ll get more points than after 60 Dexterity (which is where you should cap Dex). And yep there is a summon, Blaidd who can help. 🤘

Why cant I use bloodflame blade? I meet the requirements and I followed the video. The only difference is that I already owned the Bloodhound fang before watching, and I already upgraded it to level 2 with the blacksmith?
Make sure it’s equipped in the left hand (seal) and then use LB/L1 to put it on the right hand weapon. 🤘
I failed the dragon farming and now I don’t have enough runes for for smithing stones🤦🏼♂️😂

I didnt get back to the grace point in time and my dragon died!! Do I have to start over? Is it necessary to level up several times to get the sword??
Not really. 1 time should get you enough for the requirements then level up naturally through bosses.
Same here, but no runes were given? Not sure what happened. I only got the dragon heart😭

Okay at first I wasn’t doing as much damage like you was against margit, but I realized I don’t have the axe talisman. Is that the reason why?
Shouldn’t be that’s only for charged hits. Make sure you have the weapon requirements & you’re 2-handing it.

i accidently killd patches is there a way to still do this
how do you get the charge attack to work on controller? The only way I got it to work was by light attacking first, holding it, then holding charge attack. I cannot just hold charge attack and get it to work.
On xbox you just hold RT. But if you’re talking about the ash it’s LT then follow up with RT.

Hi, new to the game, whats the use of the dagger?
For the golden vow ash of war buff. 10% defense/attack for 40 seconds.
Does the dragon regain health back if you stop attacking?
Nope, it’ll stay the same. But the only reliable way is with bleed.
Im level 175 so 80 points in dex and 53 in strength puts the AR of the weapon in 900 lol

Bloodflame blade? Seal in the left hand to cast. You need some arcane & faith.

What can I do if I was too slow and the dragon disappeared?
Keep leveling naturally through the game. As long as you have the stats for bloodhounds fang, it’ll be pretty easy early on.
pretty sure the dragon is patched. fly back to the grace with no hitches and its gone. any way to bring it back or am i fucked?
It’s not patched. It just has to be done really fast.

I know I'm late but for damage just level up dex and strength , and level up vigor and endurance for stamina and health.

Better to have Rotview unlocked and grab FGMS at the fort.
Remember your blood nagakiba it or rivers of blood which 1 is bettet
Nagakiba double slash with BFB is better than the ROB in the RL 125-150 range.
Can you rune farm the dragon infinitely with that method?

Bloodhound’s is L2/LT then R2/RT for follow up. Right hand is for the seal to use bloodflame.

Keep leveling dexterity & some strength. Get lord of blood’s exultation in the capital. Ritual sword talisman in Altus too.
