Great editing as usual. I think there's some more weapons you can show a little more love for. You explicitly say that Bloodhound's Fang drops off in the endgame on NG+7. Have you ever done a run with the Glintstone Kris? I did one, AoW only and it absolutely shredded all remembrances in NG+7. I know you put a lot into your videos, just hope you're play testing more weapons than the usual that show up in your "Top X" lists. Don't get me wrong, GREAT JOB, and as usual GREAT VIDEO EDITING ☺️
Thanks! 🙏 And yeah I’ve tested a lot & still stick to certain ones. Glintstone Kris is good btw for damage, but has a very short range. BHF does fall off some but it is still great for poise damage that becomes harder to do in NG+ and beyond.

Low requirements, low FP cost, just go into enough faith for Golden Vow, Howl, Terra Magika, can add sorceries, incantations with the Golden Order Seal. Too many possibilities. For the spinning strikes build - seeing as the clawmark seal doesn't allow strength to contribute to buffing incants (bloodflame blade), wouldn't it be better to use a higher-scaling, faith-only seal? Like the finger or godslayer's seal?
Blaidd + Aseo Lion's Claw combo just finished off Radahn on the Elden Ring manga. Was laughing so hard when they explained why the modified Lion's Claw was stronger anime style because of the greater torque from Blaidd's sword.
I managed to do my first deathless ng+7 build at lvl 150 by switching between a night comet/comet azur/carian slicer build depending on the boss I was fighting, was really fun.
Most of my favorites made the list..! 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘 blasphemous, Moonlight, Mohg Spear are my favorite somber weapons and for non somber Gargoyles Twin blades on STR ARC are super good.
Hey Matt, for the BB build, what do you recommend doing for the Mohg fight? I tried switching at the worst time I guess since he is so resistant to it lol, ended up going scavengers and having a much easier time, but was curious for future runs
ADLS. Lightning scorp, Lightning Tear. Gravel stone seal & jellyfish shield. Same buffs too. If you use the shackle he’s like 3 casts even on max scaling/NG+7. 🤘
Yep high faith & burn o flame. Giants’ seal & jellyfish shield. Fire scorp, Godfrey icon, ritual sword. Flame tear. It’ll knock her in the air a lot. Takes a few tries to time it but easy way to get great damage.

I have tried around 4/5 op builds from RUclips and they were op. I’m not a pro souls game player so for me even the op builds I was already having trouble in NG++. Radagon and Elden beast were a pain. I probably couldn’t pass NG+++ with any build lol I think that was my cap.

Sweet! Get to 80 STR so you can single hand any time. 60 vigor, 35 endurance & 25 mind. When you get to about 220+ you can probably run quality and go for STR & Dex. Get more AR once you hit 60-80 in both.

Thanks! Lion’s claw strength/vigor/Endurance. Scavs you can hit 80 arcane, 60 vigor with about 30 endurance past 150. At really high levels though the bandit’s in blood are better. 🤘
Running a strength bleed build with the beastman's curved swords hits harder than a dex build with the scavengers though doesn't it? You could run the same stats on a strength build and interchange the gargoyle twinblade or the beastman curved sword depending on preference.
Depends on level. If you’re in the 125-150 range scavs are best for 1 damage stat. Beastmen/gargoyles around 165+ (assuming 60 vigor for all). Bandits have the highest AR of any curved sword or twinblades in blood at max level.
I do think ADLS should be AT LEAST in the top 3 even if it has a bit of RNG its not going to change much if you get enemies with 2-3 casts consistently and 1 if you're lucky (and know how to use it)

I love all these builds, but I am a sucker for the beastman curved swords I compared dps is gargoyles do a tiny more overall but prefer beastman moveset
They’re good Altho at lower levels with the scavs you don’t have to split stats. At high levels bandits are best (in 2nd is Grossmessers, 3rd Beastmen). All bleed builds are pretty much good though. Same concept, a lot of damage lol

You said best curved swords are bandits curved swords, but you use scavangers curved swords. Are scavangers better fort his build, maybe im confused :)
Scavs at 125-150. Bandits have the highest AR at higher levels of all the curved swords..so totally level dependent. Between 165-200 beastmen are best. 300+ bandits. 125-160-ish scavs.
can i beat the whole game like elden beast, malenia etc. and not worry about the dlc. because im doing a 100% playtrhough but people say its dangerous to light the erdetree or fight maliketh, I hope you can help me with that :D
I am pretty sure that the main game and the dlc are completely separate progression wise so you could beat the base game and still have no change to your dlc game.
For buffs. It shows during stats, but my faith is generally set to 10 levels less than what I need. Drink the tear then you can use great buffs like Golden Vow & Howl.
How are you level 150 on the scavengers build i copied your exact stats and you have 15 more levels than me and im at 150 already. i have the same stats but only 45 vigor everything else is the same but im level 150 already

15 dex covers the base requirements for most weapons. That way I don’t have to respec for minimum dexterity. An example is GUTS needs 12. For faith builds BB needs 15. Katanas always need Dex to a degree. Grave Scythe needs 14, etc.

for the first build: why not just 15 faith for "flame, grant me strength" and apply golden vow through the art of war on an off hand dagger?

Imo seppuku is better. But they’re both good. Generally though the more bleed on jumps the better.

Would you say that the Magma Blades are viable in higher NG? I love these weapons so much their DPS and AoW is insane
Yep they are! Just not as good as on NG. Bandit’s with flaming strike in flame art will give you more DPS with jumps.

Yep! A few of them will need items that you can get from friends or a 2nd playthrough though.

Yes but less physical damage. Bleed resistances go up as you continue to proc. Scavs have the highest physical DPS at 125-150 (meta range).

Just a question about the Mohgwyn Sacred Spear build, why is DEX 15 when the weapon only needs 14 and isn't 16 a little too low?

They can. I used the mask to make up for 3 dexterity. And the faith tear for 10 levels so I can buff.

Marias executinor sword Is Very good too
It is, mainly best when using a ton of buffs though.
Bolt of gransax should been on this list I've used most these top 10 and ye bolt has been way more effective and even more fun at times
It’s good but for NG+ and beyond (NG+7 here), it falls off a bit. TOP 20 probably.

Nagakiba double slash probably. Eleonora’s Poleblade is more fun than OP.

Honestly it’s not too great unless maybe for PvP. Strength & Faith pretty equally. It’s fairly quality overall for scaling.
You said best curved swords are bandits curved swords, but you use scavangers curved swords. Are scavangers better fort his build, maybe im confused :)
Scavs at 125-150. Bandits have the highest AR at higher levels of all the curved swords..so totally level dependent. Between 165-200 beastmen are best. 300+ bandits. 125-160-ish scavs.
death poker for me is the best i use it to beat all late game
and have the death spear as well for certain situations

can i beat the whole game like elden beast, malenia etc. and not worry about the dlc. because im doing a 100% playtrhough but people say its dangerous to light the erdetree or fight maliketh, I hope you can help me with that :D
I am pretty sure that the main game and the dlc are completely separate progression wise so you could beat the base game and still have no change to your dlc game.

For buffs. It shows during stats, but my faith is generally set to 10 levels less than what I need. Drink the tear then you can use great buffs like Golden Vow & Howl.

How are you level 150 on the scavengers build i copied your exact stats and you have 15 more levels than me and im at 150 already. i have the same stats but only 45 vigor everything else is the same but im level 150 already

They’re strong but poise increases in NG+ and beyond (30% by NG+7). So they fall off some for sure.

I'm max level on ng7 with all the same buffs and I don't do this damage lol these build work only on early to mid game not late
All footage is NG+7 (journey 38 I believe). They’re all viable endgame too. I’ve walked through the endgame with several of these easily. 🤘

It’s for buffs. Base faith is 15. It’s so I can use golden vow incantation & FGMS. 🤘

Why you still 15 dex for what?
15 dex covers the base requirements for most weapons. That way I don’t have to respec for minimum dexterity. An example is GUTS needs 12. For faith builds BB needs 15. Katanas always need Dex to a degree. Grave Scythe needs 14, etc.

I did one last week but not for a dagger. I don’t do dagger builds that often since I’m not a fan of the short reach they have.
