One quick thought on the scavengers curved sword build- Historically it was a jump attack build due to the Claw talisman and Raptor's Black Feathers providing a 25% dmg boost, however we now have Ledas Armor and Lacerating Crossed-Tree talisman, which together provide 25% for the running 4-hit combo. You can run it either way now. Personally I prefer the dash moveset to the jumping.
Just saying, something like a great katana or any great weapon that can use blood tax, raksasha set+white mask, any good seal for buffs, godskin talisman+miliscents+blood talisman+anything else you prefer with crimson sucking tear+blood buff tear gives you a build that lets you heal up any damage quickly and damn good damage along with bleed procs. @@dsaBOSS honestly I didn’t like it that much lol for the tree for sure. For other bosses it fell off for me. It’s very good but it relies on poise damage a bit, which is kinda useless on NG+7 since they have more poise. For example rellana has 120 base & over 160 on NG+7.

DUUUUUDE. Two-handed sword talisman DOES NOT BUFF AOW DAMAGE. If you're spamming AoW (like that savage lion's claw build), you should NOT run it. If you're running a build that uses AoW and normal charged heavies, sure, because then if you don't fully charge the heavy, you still get the benefit, unlike the axe talisman. But people keep using builds that include the two-hand talisman and either seem to not understand this, or just leave it out, and it's super important, because I, for one, assumed it also buffed AoW damage, and it absolutely does not.

If you’re a high level bandits are best. At lower levels (125-150) scavs have the highest DPS. This is because you can put them on occult, invest in only one damage stat & get insane physical damage in between procs.

@@lharsay the DLC+ is the same as the base game. It goes up 7 times in total. But base game impacts DLC HP & damage too. So you effectively can get NG+7 + NG+7. Brutal lol
@@AverageGamerMatt It's a separate one time increase. I did the DLC twice on a NG+7 character, it was more upscaled and the enemies dropped more runes for the second time. When you play through the DLC for the first time you might notice that early enemies get more hp in the later zones. For example the bloodfiends in the Fissure have nearly twice the health compared to the ones on the Gravesite Plain. On DLC+ however they all have equal health upscaled to the maximum as the game assumes you have lvl20 blessing.
@@lharsay correct, but the DLC also seems to go up further as well, although I haven’t tested it yet past DLC+. Either way it’s very challenging on NG+7. Luckily radahn maxes out at only 4k more in total from base NG+7. Rellana was very difficult though.

@TheKingofRedLightning thought so 🤣 idk why I didn't think of that on the first couple runs. I started thinking about it on my current run. Cause that ng +7 modifier on the dlc is no joke. Add in the dlc modifier and I'm a scrub again. I love it.
Wouldn't Fire Knight Greatsword also be a good contender for NG+7?
@@dsaBOSS honestly I didn’t like it that much lol for the tree for sure. For other bosses it fell off for me. It’s very good but it relies on poise damage a bit, which is kinda useless on NG+7 since they have more poise.
For example rellana has 120 base & over 160 on NG+7.
@@AverageGamerMatt Thanks, been wanting to take my faith build for a fresh NG+7 run and was trying to decide between FKGS and Euporia.
@@dsaBOSS Euporia for sure. The successive attack damage & ash is very good 👍
iirc the axe talisman boosts the sword part of the moonlight greatsword but no the shockwave
but i think godfreys icon does not boost the shockwave or does it?
@@Enigmatic_Soldier it does, only when you charge it fully though.
Hey I'm, a noob but, if the boss has fire resistance, what's the other good weapon/failsafe plan for Blasphemous blade build?
YAG your cold spear build. Does it still proc frost on keen affinity? I thought it had to be cold affinity?
I believe the affinity only applies to the weapon hits that physically hit the opponent whereas the ice spear deals frost dmg
@@Sent2Strike ice spear scales with Dex & int. It’ll give you frost on either. But cold affinity is the only way to get frost on regular weapon hits.
two handed talisman works only on r1-r2 attacks, not worth if you plan to spam weapon art
@@kiemugen9830 I use it so you can mix in charged attacks & regular hits. Don’t always have the option to just use the ash.
Scuhdoo for life btw
How should I adjust build 12 for level 200? Should I just pump strength and endurance?
@@kittenbus0 rusted anchor? 60 STR & 60 ARC. More END too.
@@AverageGamerMatt Yep, thanks man :)
How does marais executioners sword fair against ng+7 dlc bosses.. is it worth using?
@@barkermush7147 if you buff it like crazy. Otherwise too slow imo, DLC bosses are really quick.
@@AverageGamerMatt Ah, I thought it might struggle.. especially with the static long wind up.
I try to spread the points to your 150 for the night comet build but im 10 short are you wearing something that boosts 10 more points somewhere 😕
Faith tear.
How do we not have any transmog system yet, I understand for pvp but pve I'd love to transmog
For some reason I feel bosses are still growing stronger beyond NG+7. Can you check at least one boss on NG+8 ???
DLC+ adds about 4k more HP for Radahn. And more for early bosses.
@@AverageGamerMatt so DLC+ has its own ? My first playthrough for the DLC was on NG+6 in the base game, so does this mean that bosses will still grow stronger in the DLC when I am on my 14th base game run ?
@@sheebs1987 so I mentioned this in comments, I was confused about the scaling as well (it’ll be corrected in my next video). It’s NG+7 + DLC+ so journey 9 is max with 2nd run into DLC.
@@AverageGamerMatt Great ! Looking forward as with all your great content sir !
@@NPC_maga I know lol I run it because most situations you’ll use Bloodfiend’s charged attacks too. It’s very useful for any regular hits. I was just showcasing the ash.
dual peelers are better than dual scavenger swords tbh
@@cubanmodz scavs have the highest DPS between 125-150 on occult, because you don’t have to split stats. At max level, gargoyle’s and bandits have the highest blood affinity DPS.
i have 99 faith but i get 2500-3000 damage only on blasphemous blade while using all of the mentioned talismans except for fire scorpion charm , why is that so ?
Do you have the same buffs & all the scadutree fragments? Also fire scorpion charm is very big when doing pure fire damage.
Someone please tell me why the scavenger swords are better than the bandit’s? I have a pair of each but I hear ppl saying scavenger sword on top but the bandit has better dmg. What makes the bandit worst?
Also I’m NG+8 so I should have max dmg scaling
If you’re a high level bandits are best. At lower levels (125-150) scavs have the highest DPS. This is because you can put them on occult, invest in only one damage stat & get insane physical damage in between procs.
@@AverageGamerMatt makes sense because I’m over here at 331
Why do you only level to 150?
PvP homie. Most people who fight online stay around the 125 to 150 range. It has the largest pool of players.
@@teddybear1342 so it puts you into games with people who are the same amount of skill points?
I use scavengers bleed and blasphemous build with dragon lighting at level 230 for NG+7 so I can switch up with what I need for bosses cuz DLC NG+7 is insane and having faith/arcane build for NG+7 has carried me
Nice setup! 🤘
@@AverageGamerMatt and oh my after running the DLC a couple times on NG+7, going on my other character and running it through on NG+ oh my it is such a breeze
I have beaten the dlc on ng 7 once
@@ryanzz1357 nice! It’s deff a different game on NG+7. Everything has insane HP & damage lol
There is also DLC+ with upscales every enemy to Enir Ilim scaling in the next NG cycle after you defeat Radahn.
It will always be SkahDueTree
Somehow it is shadow tree but I’m not sure why they didn’t just label it that lol
What about showing builds without spoilers?
@@gelui13 DLC grace period ended a while ago. It’s been out 2 months lol
Hey quick question to everyone in the comment section. I play on xbox as well and I would love to have one character on max lvl but I dont want to farm for dozens of hours. Anyone else looking to do so? Maybe we could help each other out? Please note that so far I have never played in coop.
I took my lev 500 character into dlc so I wouldn’t have to respec when trying different weapons, I was on journey 7 and I couldn’t believe how difficult the dlc was😂, did 3 runs on that same character, finally started a run on journey 2 and OH MY GOD, it was so much easier! Wish I would have started on that account lol
I don’t get it why use dragon communion seal on dual seppuku build someone pls explain
It’s for buffs & it’s weightless, but if you were to use incantations it’s also the best seal for arcane with an “S”.
Mezzmer I think is harder than renalla
@@dewayneclark881 just fought Messmer yesterday again on NG+7 with DLC+. Rellana is way harder imo lol her combos are a lot longer.
Which does more lions claw or savage lions claw?
I was going for some bleed here so savage was better. For pure physical DPS & poise damage classic lions claw is better.
@@AverageGamerMatt thank you
Level 150 in Ng+7 you're getting vigor checked constantly dude cmon
@@MrJomalley123 after 60 is minimal returns. Run defensive buffs & even on NG+7 at 150 it’s not too bad.
Why bandits over Godskin peelers?
@@christopherkimmeth2626 bandits have the highest DPS (and AR in blood affinity) at 80 STR, Dex & arcane. Grossmesser’s & gargoyle twinblades are 2nd. Peelers are good, but at meta levels they’re outclassed by the scavenger curved swords too.
Thanks man! Love your videos. So even at level 300, bandits are still better right?
@@christopherkimmeth2626 for sure! You can easily get to 80 Dex, 60 STR & ARC. They’ll prob shred lol
1440p is perfectly fine dude no worry.
Nah 8k only or no likes/subs
Any like death knight build
Not on NG+7 lol they’re more fun than powerful.
Why scavengers curved sword and not bandits curved sword
@@blurr5582 basically because of meta levels. You don’t have to split stats. With the physical damage the DPS is higher with the Scavs in the 125-150 range.
Where are the dex people?
Dexterity falls off a bit by the time you get to NG+7, esp with DLC+ as well.
Ng+7 ng+7 ng+7.....😂😂😂
Well tbh the scaling at max journeys with DLC is insane. Esp at 150 or lower.
Cmon man, make some varieties in builds, please don’t become the guy that repeats the same builds every video, try making a spear build or something
Spear build isn’t going to cut it in NG+7 at RL 150 unless it’s shield poke lol this is what works. I rebuilt them for defense as well to sustain longer boss battles.
Edit: if you want variety check out my fun build lists. Lots of new builds on NG+ covering a lot of the DLC weapons.
It's a "broken" builds list, not a list to show off fun builds.
this is ng+7, a lot of build variety falls off a cliff at this level of scaling. If you want the most variety, you can stick with base game - journey 3 or 4, afterwhich, a lot of variety falls off because you need to start stacking a tonne of damage to even remotely deal with some of the bosses.
You obviously struggle to read😂
Come up with your own

Yuck RB RT yada yada gross Xbox language jk but gross lol
