A lot of the problem is the whole "familiarity breeds contempt" thing - I've found out that while it is impossible to keep up the initial excitement, passion, etc. it can still be good but you have to miss each other to appreciate each other or have that longing. Getting married or living together for any length of time works against all that and ruins the longing.

Make no mistake, as a minimum, there is an affectionate kiss (not like you kiss your Grandma) and an embrace or there is just no need for a 2nd date most of the time. There is nothing happening there. Women DO kiss and embrace men they have interest in, even on the first date. That SHOULD happen if there is mutual attraction. A kiss is just a kiss, but the first kiss should be memorable. Make it so.

I have actually found that just standing close, with pleasant eye contact and stroking her cheek with the the back of a finger and whisper talking is more enjoyable than kissing. However, more than once it has resulted in a woman telling me, "Kiss me you idiot". ..I do then, but it seems that the kissing actually spoils the moment. Am I doing something wrong? I can look and talk and touch her face a lot longer and enjoyably but I have also been suddenly and briskly pushed away and asked "What is wrong with you, moron".. or even been asked if I was gay. Women are very complicated. I'm in my 50's and haven't done a lot of dating and this channel is very helpful.

You sound old fashioned a bit ....it's just different today - society & the norms have changed. I went out with a woman in her late 40's and the 1st few dates I kissed her on the cheek at the end of the night trying to be respectful & not force anything. Then after we did kiss she later told me she originally thought I wasn't into her because I didn't try to kiss her early on !!!???!!! Women, not even YourWingman, really don't or can't understand the position or crazy double standards/ideals men are held to or forced to deal with in dating.
A system, never thought of this, it has been organic. Once in a fever I pulled over to the shoulder behind another car, the kiss began,then the breathing, and then she noticed the car about 50 feet away was on fire. Got out to help the car was abandoned, went back and finished the kiss,thought of that song, I’m On Fire!

Me and Tanya we were both 12 years old and after delivering papers(The Santa Cruz Sentinel Rt.111) we went down to a secluded part of the beach and she asked me if I wanted to practice kissing. I said ok. We practiced all the kisses her older sister had told her about in between laughing. We started with the Eskimo kiss to the Hollywood kiss. The French kiss we both stuck our tongues out trying to get them to touch lol. Good times.

A lot of the problem is the whole "familiarity breeds contempt" thing - I've found out that while it is impossible to keep up the initial excitement, passion, etc. it can still be good but you have to miss each other to appreciate each other or have that longing. Getting married or living together for any length of time works against all that and ruins the longing.
Thank goodness I watched this video. Don’t think I have ever seen a woman “wink”. That was very nice.

I've always gone for the first kiss while watching TV (arm over shoulder and hand to the cheek/jawline, etc.) or in the car when dropping her at her place. Always works, but you gotta know how to read the situation. I bet they sometimes wonder what I'm waiting for on more than one occasion.

this is a tricky one but have you fixed bad kissers? ive had a few girls who just didnt know how to kiss, and the worst part is some are convinced its not them.. (for the record it is them). with some i do this - i say, slow down, i tilt their head, i tell them what ill do and what i want them to do w their tounge. some do make progress. but i wonder why some just dont know how to kiss even by 23 - its pretty incredible.

You don't really need to know if she's "ready" for a kiss. Unless she whispers 'kiss me' in your ear, you may never know for sure before hand. You only need to know if it feels like she would reject it. I don't ask if I can kiss her either. If the date has gone well, it's a date, there is or at least should be, an expectation of some form of demonstrated affection between adults on a date. An affectionate kiss is the Go-To. Chisel that in stone. You are not dating to make JUST friends. If SHE is, it's Dutch Treat, it's not a real date.
She's not obligated to give you access to the goods, or even a second date but that first kiss is critical to get "the temperature" of her interest in you and you in her. Don't wait until you walk her to her door, surprise her when she's 'not ready' for it. If she is receptive, make it a whopper. If she seems uneasy, a short smooch but on the lips to open that door.
Make no mistake, as a minimum, there is an affectionate kiss (not like you kiss your Grandma) and an embrace or there is just no need for a 2nd date most of the time. There is nothing happening there. Women DO kiss and embrace men they have interest in, even on the first date. That SHOULD happen if there is mutual attraction. A kiss is just a kiss, but the first kiss should be memorable. Make it so.

@Giwrgos Petrou No. I didn't say randomly. But do it when she isn't ready for it, earlier in the date than the end for the first kiss. As a minimum, if she's there for the early kiss, it will set up a whopper for the goodnight kiss at the door, maybe even an invitation in.
But do what works for you
