Mic quality impressed me. Sound dampening in the room would go a long way, even if it’s just an area rug.
Wow, as an audio engineer, that was to the letter the first thing I was thinking about adding an area rug! Nice review though.
great to the point review! thank you. i wanted to see how good the audio quality is and it is stellar!
Thanks for watching! Glad it was helpful. We also have side-by-side comparison of the other Logitech Business Webcams here ruclips.net/video/1YXE0pg-dSY/видео.html
Great review, although it's worth noting to potential buyers, it's optimised only on a i5 system and above to get the full 4k. I have old i3 Toshiba L50 laptop, the Yealink uv30 i bought is scaled down to 2k which is capable of 4k! It goes without saying - what you can buy is limited by the computer/setup performance, its no good bying a 4k tv if you have only 1080p Portable Video Recorder video to stream- which ultimately means taking on more expense to get optimisation
hey man, can you bring tests with her using NVidia broadcast? Using the webcam panache with background blur. please ? brings you recording in full screen.
Logitech brio was released in 2017 and is still the golden standard, I'm wondering when a successor will be released. I also noticed he didn't mention windows Hello support which is an important feature.
Yes, tabaghdissar, you are correct. This supports Windows Hello Face. Here's a video we did featuring three cameras that 4K and support Windows Hello Face that I've tested: ruclips.net/video/s-LFg7lyqc0/видео.html
Thank you for watching!
Another great review 👍🏻
I was fortunate enough to have a Brio from the start of the pandemic.
I usually get various, positive comments about “your camera looks so clear”, at least once a week.
If your budget allows I would highly recommend for those users that spend lots of time on video calls.
Do you use the in built mic for video calls? If so, how does it sound?
is there any way to connect an external mic to this web cam ?
Hi Arabian! No, you can not connect an external mic directly to this webcam. It does have a built-in mic. You can also connect external mic to you open USB port on your computer/laptop.

Can you setting up and control it by logitech g hub software or do you need to use with the another software?
Hi Fernando, our channel focuses on audio and video devices for business communications and collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc. Logi Tune is the recommended software as it will also work in conjunction with Logitech Sync to support remote device management for IT teams with distributed workforces. I’ll check with Logitech if the business grade Brio is supported by Logitech G Hub.
www.logitech.com/en-us/video-collaboration/software/logi-tune-software.html
Out the box it does 1080p. You need to have the LogiTune software to bump it up to 4k
Thanks for sharing. I will creating a new video featuring the newer Brio webcams including the MX Brio 705, Brio 505, Brio 305, and Brio 105. Stay tuned!
I bought this webcam yesterday and im having a huge problem. The imagine display is so nice, but in video, it is extremely choppy. I have it set to 1080p or so, on 60fps and it worked for a good 1 min without choppiness. I downloaded obs (didn’t work), LogiCapture (worked for a little while.) im really not sure what to do. I can’t get the webcam to stay without being choppy whatsoever
Hi Jayla M! There are multiple factors that can impact performance. Have you reviewed Logitech Brio Support page? prosupport.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040085833-Getting-Started-BRIO
If you are still having issues, I recommend you submit for additional support by submitting a help ticket: prosupport.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360002418454&pID=feda7922-1a5e-11ea-9374-5f50f4a7ee5c

hi. Nice to watch not-paid / not-biased reviews..
I have, although - after watching quite a few review-ets videos of Brio-etc - and after doing some testing myself - come across another ruining/big problem: Which is the 100% need for "running with finetuned parameters in the different apps/programs" :
- It seems, that finetuning, is often done in the company's utility/app.
- leading to "how well does the 2 programs work together". For instance, I tried yeasterday to get Poly-5 to work "behind" OBS-Studio ... which was "a not consistent / trustworthy experience".
This leads to 2 things, for me :
- 1) Storing/Saving settings on the webcam: => that one can close the Logitech, Elgato, etc. company-settings-util.
- 2) That I need to use a "seriel" filter-like SW-setup: Which is "Logitech/Poly/Elgato" -> "the sw's output" -> the "working app" (OBS, Zoom, Discord, etc. etc). Leading to "more CPU-ressources + more delay" (plus "more digital noise" - like editing an mp3 more times, introducing more artifacts + loosing details".
Have you inputs/experience, to add, regarding this ... with the Brio, and with the many other Webcams, that you have testes / tried out?
PS: I do miss, that Windows/Microsoft would make "standard/universal" a settings-systemapp for Webcams - like "their universal & basic" settings-app for Printers and SoundCards have gotten. In which one could set brightness, etc. (so that a "recource-hungry, delay-creating, erratic, beta-like" company-app wasn't needed).
Hello again Familien! You should really connect with me via LinkedIn, or heck even Facebook or Instagram. We're like buddies now. 😁 You are 100% correct in that most of the professional/business grade brands require their software to perform optimally. However, this also acts as a way for organizations to manage their devices especially now that many are working remotely across multiple locations. It's easier for IT teams via the software to push out firmware updates, monitor health of devices, get insights, etc. Some industries like Finance, Insurance, Healthcare and Government are typically resistant to end-users downloading 3rd party device management software which makes it challenging for end-users to have the optimal experience. As I mentioned before, I don't work for these brands, nor do they pay me to make these videos. I try and be like a regular end-user. I rarely read the instructions. I plug in the devices and see how they perform. I do give the brands the courtesy of telling them if their devices perform poorly. Please feel free to connect with me via LinkedIn! 👉 www.linkedin.com/in/danny-hayasaka/
Great camera, but they should really consider including short and thin USB-C to USB-C cable. Had to buy a few separately since included one is not suitable for laptop use - too thick, long and good luck connecting to Mac without adapter.
P.S. And Macs are the ones that really benefit of upgraded video quality :D
@@CallOneInc Forgot to mention, that at least that cable is removable. Most other webcams have fixed one, and you just have to live with that.
I think a rug with help that audio reflection a lot.
Thanks for the feedback!
Does this camera have the ability to remove background in the software itself?
Hi ArklayBear! Great question. There are several adjustments and filters available via free Logitech Capture software. Take a look www.logitech.com/en-us/product/capture
welp after a week of tryiong i cant get my camera to pic up audio..im not even sure the mic works lol my pc will only pic up my headphones micriphone i dont know how to use the brio microphone...nothing is detecting there is another microphone..i dont know...
Hi Tëtšuo! Sorry to hear. Can you share more details about your setup? What are you connecting the Logitech Brio to?
after i restarted my pc twice it finally popped up and i was able to use the camera mic..thank you!!@@CallOneInc
Hi, Which version you have tested? BRIO 4K PRO or BRIO 4K Stream version? Maybe in States you have only one to chose from ;)
It's exactly the same webcam
i can confirm this, same sensor, same anc microphone sound^^, in the stream edition the includ 1 year licence for xsplit
Hardware is good as long as Logitech keeps both cameras (Stream version and PRO version) on the same firmware version . Steam latest firmware is from 2019 and PRO latest version is from march 2021.
@@mareksuski that true
I got the pro version i dont need xsplit
what the difference between brio and brio steam? thanks
Hi T M, here's an article I found online: www.newcomme.com/introducing-the-logitech-brio-and-logitech-brio-stream-webcams/
The Logitech Brio (part number 960-001105) is part of the Logitech Business Webcam lineup and includes a 3-Year Limited warranty vs the Logitech Brio Stream (part number 960-001194) that has a 2-Year limited warranty. I haven't seen Logitech Brio Stream packaging, but the Logitech Brio for Business comes in very small plain brown box for easier mass deployments and they can be managed via Logitech Sync device management software.
@@CallOneInc thanks
The zoom cuts in and out gave me a headache.
Did it come with a privacy cover?
Hi Steve, sorry to hear about your headache. Yes, the Logitech Brio includes attachable privacy cover. Thanks for watching!
@@CallOneInc Would've been nice to see the cover.
Perhaps decrease the zoom frequency as a start, cheers otherwise good points stated

Won't work on my mac, I guess because Ace won't install?
Hi 22-Degree Halo Tarot, can you please provide more info? Which Mac, and OS are you using? I'll run it by Logitech Engineers to see if they have a solution.
@@CallOneInc Thank you, that's very kind. I called tech support (twice) and was told they are no longer supporting iOS since they will be phasing out Capture. So I guess I'm left with Photo Booth to capture video? Both techs pointed me to RUclips, which I had already done, thought that was ironic. Anyhow, I did notice that the Brio overrides my lavaliere mic when it's plugged in. Any suggestions on that setup or an alternative?
@@22-degreehalo Can you please share "what" you are connecting the Brio to? You mentioned not working on a Mac and now you mentioned iOS. Are you attempting to connect to an iPad or something? Please provide clarification. The Logitech Engineers and I are happy to help.

Hi Suren! Yes, we are thinking of filming another video featuring the video quality in low light of multiple webcams. This time we'll share video from a second camera to show just how dark it is in the room. We could have done better. Appreciate you watching!
You say 30 fps like that's impressive. The camera is good but 30 fps is not impressive. 4k 60 fps would be impressive.
Hi Steven! Yes that would be. I do appreciate you watching and your feedback!
The Logitech Brio supports multiple resolutions.
4K/30fps (up to 4096 x 2160 pixels)
