    0:01 - I do like the black lamp arrangement on the gold end table. The only thing I would change would be to remove those 3 white books from under that rustic looking box under the lamp.
    (Just my opinion 😉)

    Excellent advice for 18-22” distance from sofa to coffee table. I’ve seen designers suggest as little as 12”, but I’ve tried it and it’s way too tight.

    When will you talk about tall floral arrangements on coffee tables that do not allow guests to see each other?

    • @kellyhopterinteriors
      @kellyhopterinteriors  Месяц назад

      haha, you have a keen eye, Judy. Admittedly, we use such arrangements sometimes for photoshoots, In real life, I love using oversized florals on sideboards or consoles but lower arrangements on coffee tables.

    Great explanations! Finding large pieces of affordable art work is so challenging, especially when you don’t live in a large city. Any ideas?

      Thanks so much, so glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, finding large artwork can be challenging! It's one of the reasons we launched an online art shop where we specialize in large pieces. If you're interested, you can see our selections here: kellyhopterdecor.com

    I’m struggling with a coffee table with Bernhardt leather sofa that has power recliners. The chairs on the other side of the room have two chairs that have ottomans. How does one put a table in this situation?

    • @kellyhopterinteriors
      @kellyhopterinteriors  Месяц назад +2

      In a situation like that I would rely more on martini tables to put down my drink. But I'd still have a table, or perhaps a more sculptural collection of nesting tables, in the centre to help fill that empty floor space

    It really bothers me that your light switch is in the middle of the wall moulding. That’s a very annoying mistake…

    I don’t use a coffee table, I find they just act like a barrier and get in the way.
