I love your home! So elegant.. For the lamp from home goods in the corner the brownish one. They sell rechargeable LED light bulbs on Amazon. That comes with a remote. All you have to do it charge it & screw The light bulb in lamp. Hide the plug that's attached to the lamp. Being that there is no outlet there. May this helps. I am into design as well. This tip has helped me @JeneeNaylor

I love how you mix expensive pieces with second-hand pieces and big box pieces. It all comes together so beautifully. It just shows that you don't need to spend a ton of money to make your home beautiful. You just have to know where to look and have an eye for design.

It's just a suggestion. I agree!☺️ A cream, brown, and grayish-blue patterned rug would look nice with your brown chairs. The gray would help make your living room and sitting area look and feel more cohesive.
It's totally up to you. The colors of your vases on your island are nice. However, they might be better suited for that space on a larger scale. The island is massive, and the vases just feel too small on the island.

I would utilize the wooden round table and wicker chairs in some kind of office space for roundtable meetings with your team.👍💯
Exactly, nice home but not so cohesive
Swap dining with the lounge. That way, you have a view of the back yard and easier to access from kitchen to dining. Now, the lounge area is cohesive with the sitting area and with the bar it's perfect. Now, you can keep that beautiful bar. The space is amazing.
We use the space best this way. We spend more time in the lounge are and like to enjoy the back yard and tv from there!

Beautiful. In my opinion, I would move the cowhide rug to where those three brown chairs are.
Every detail is gorgeous! For the Home Goods lamp in the kitchen (22:16), you could use a rechargeable bulb, and hide the cord behind another piece of decor (like a floor vase or faux plant) .

You’ve literally added ur sense of style when it comes to fashion to ur house and I love that it’s masculine and feminine at the same time. Those bar stools are amazing. And for the dining room the accent wall would look amazing where the art work is at you can do that whole corner or just that wall where the art work it’s on.

The panels are beautiful too!. I have to warm up to the the lounge area but I love that glass table, and yes you should totally paint the dining area with that glossy paint. The house is coming together beautifully!

Hi Jenee, I love your eye for design and eclectic mixing of color, texture and several style genres in an unique cohesive look. As an interior designer/stylist-enthusiast, consider flow and function of areas. In agreement with another commenter, the huge space adjacent to the kitchen is meant to be your dining room. Just envision a one of kind glass or marble table with enough seating for intimate, yet formal dinner party. The current light fixture in the kitchen is a keeper, in my opinion. The clean lines of the fixture matches the lines of the cabinets and appliances perfectly. May I suggest moving the lounge to under the stairs using two chairs or three chairs if it fits. The current dining room would be a good place to set up a full bar using your idea for an antique mirrored glass cut out as a back drop. 😃
This layout works best for our lifestyle and how we use the space but thanks for the suggestion!
I like the dining table now and the shape for that space. I think the wood warms up the space I would change the chairs though they don’t seem to go with the rest of the room because of the texture but I like the shape of them which is different. Living room area looks great!

If you moved the animal print rug from the entry to your home to the flax space between your living room and kitchen it would be stunning. It has the unique shape needed for a flex space. Also the cabinet in the living room that you are using for a bar would be perfect if you centered it on the wall and added symmetry with plants or something tall on both sides. Your home is beautiful!

I would move the lamp and put a medium floral piece there. Something that matches the floral setting on the small table. It may also be cute where the knick-knacks are.

Beautiful design love it... also think about framing hermes scarves... I have them throughout my home you'll be suprised what you can find especially vintage also made some into pillows it more fun then blankets to me.. I had to be careful burning candles on my marble the glass got so hot it warped marked it.. had to put coasters under gotta try the table you have may last better love cb2 stone designs they have marble tables 2 in like a brown terracotta ugh would be stunning! Can't wait for the next update.. Best Wishes

However, I can't help but feel that sometimes it's a lot to take in within such a short period of time. Maybe consider giving yourself and Josh a bit more time to fully embrace and enjoy the space as you continue to update the house. Allow yourselves to create memories and design with intention. I love your design esthetic. The one thing want about is, swapping the lounge area and the dining room space. It seems to make a little more sense to have the dining space closer to the kitchen. And then you would be able to keep that bar fixture. Just something to think about.
