I have two of the Stackholmen stools and no one would ever guess they came from Ikea. We just completed our bathroom renovation and put in the Faxalven medicine cabinet. You are absolutely right, it is so nice! Even the electrician was impressed with the way it is lit. We hard wired it, but it can be installed with a battery remote as well. We went with little more expensive vanity and they pair very well. Love these videos!

Hello Nina! I came across this video by chance and was so delighted with you that I had to subscribe right away! There is not a lot of designing I want for my present home because we live in a VERY remote town in the Canadian Arctic (fly in/fly out only except when the ice road is open each year). TBH, I am cultivating a small group of YT designers that seem to have the same perspective I do. We will be retiring in five years, and after over twenty years in the Arctic, I am going to need to start learning now! While I have done my best to decorate my wee house, life here is truly 99.9995 function and 0.00005 form. We have very defined ideas in what we want in a retirement home - so much so that I have suggested we build exactly what we want instead of puttering around and around trying to find it and then - quite possibly - end up building after all. One of your choices, while gorgeous, I originally thought “that’s just not for me” but the other nine I want to go buy SO MUCH!). The medicine cabinet was really pretty on the sides, but we always want a recessed cabinet. Hubby and I agree that we want our square footage to be dedicated mostly to the public areas of our home. Then I stopped and thought about that statement as I really did like the look and realized I’m not saving ANY space if the medicine cabinet is above the sink; that ‘air space’ is already taken, so why not? After spending time looking at all ten of these items, I think you will need to come to Canada to design and decorate our retirement house! LOL

I just purchased the rattan chair and had to return it within a week. The arm rest unraveled. It’s also hideous in real life when assembled. The hardware is silver and visible on the outside.
I love, love the rattan furniture selection. But as a cat owner myself, other cat owners beware. Kitties love digging their claws into rattan and before you know it, something textured and chic will end up a raggedy, rattan mess. I speak from personal experience.
It's considered a budget (cheap) place to get home furnishings in the US. It's always nice to get a nice-looking bargain regardless of your income though!
In Aus there are selected ikea products that fit in well. I bought an induction cooktop from ikea on basis of easy to use, price, and expectation that so many used that ikea would have worked out any bugs. I bought the 9kea black sinks because I love them and they are so cheap. Lots are horrible but paper lampshades..where else could I find them. Re the candles I have the Jensen beautiful candlesticks before the vulgar ones you showed which are not like this. And a kitchen bench for simplicity in renovating my expensive home and demands of renovations.
It’s other way around in many non western countries in Europe. Ikea is expensive and considered modern and non affordable. Students there definitely do not buy ikea. In Canada students Buy cheaper items, more expensive items specially if customized can be found in high end designs
I dislike the chrome finish candlesticks, they are for the Asian market I believe. I have georg jensen stainless steel beautiful candlesticks of similar but far more aesthetic and refined, plus the large one with many candles. These have patina and are beautiful.
