High Compression, High Revving BMW M54 2.5L Engine Build!!

We told ourselves we would never build another M54 and here we are... This is a little bit different though, the goal is only around 230hp because of the GLTC rules. We are going for a high revving, high compression 2.5L that will hopefully be bulletproof.

Ok guys, i have a e34 525ix with single vanos and will do the motor in a few months. I have the m50 and was trying to work out if i should stick to that block or consider m52 or m54. The car has m5 exhaust standard and m- technics suspension. Even if not a super performer with the 4wd it's a sweet ride. Any thoughts on best block for such a project.

Don't run the engine. Just look at it. You know what happens when you run engines.
