It's a bit misleading attributing the font to early German Newspaper, every antique newspapers had that font. For example, look at the Chicago Tribune logo, it's identical to the letters on the clothes and was most likely used as a reference for these designs, since he's also from Chicago.

I think firing Greg Ross and freaking Steve Smith solidified that. There's always other great people to work with, but if you can't keep your relationships that helped make who you are, there's not much confidence for you keeping the relationships you're currently in or the ones that you're going to have in the future. It's a bit misleading attributing the font to early German Newspaper, every antique newspapers had that font. For example, look at the Chicago Tribune logo, it's identical to the letters on the clothes and was most likely used as a reference for these designs, since he's also from Chicago.
Their logo, A lot of newspapers use that font. They were inspired by old time newspapers. And the font originated in old Europe/germany wayyyyyy before any of these US papers or states or the USA country even existed lol anyone can use/be inspired by anything else.
