Old head here who's travelled a lot, been to, worked in and around China and so on...1: the fakes got incredibly good compared to eras before because of Nike. Nike doesn't "own" factories anymore and awards contracts to them, specifically in Fujian area of China. For decades people from Xiamen, Putian, greater Fujian have had dozens of factories make Nikes, So now with their more spurratic contract awarding system, lots of factories get the files for the patterns, lasts for the shape etc and never make stuff for Nike officially again. So it's way easier for making replicas/duplicates.That's why fakes can vary wildly in quality additional to the fact in chinese culture, retail vs rep is irrelevant. it's about cost vs quality per purchase.
also doesnt help that they simplified the process of making Jordans by cutting corners, and using cheap materials. Nike is the own worst enemy and they are to blame partially for reps getting out of control.
@airtec87 they have almost always used cheap materials though honestly. It's just progressed a lot in the last decade. NuBuck is the McNugget of shoe leather. What's wild to me is Nike gets mad at the problems THEY make but then have such bad QC reps of BC3s are better than the pairs at Footlocker
@dmunyblokush yes. My time there I was lucky enough to have locals and friends guide me around. Some of the rep factories have stiffer QC than the ones Nike contracts 😂 if you visit their factory, they also like to show off their "custom" designs no one else gets which is great.
I had to stop following sniper kicks, he started off helping us get sneakers for retail and now he’s just become a reseller buying up all the pairs and selling it to us for 3 to 4 times mark up.
I hit my TS velvets on SNKRS and when I got my pair in, the left shoes tongue was not centered AT all. If it were any other shoe, I would have returned it
Back then, “B Grades” were the Nike Factory rejects that didn’t pass QC. I remember a lot of those shoes hit the Nike Outlets for under retail. And that’s likely why he asked for a discount.
Thats right, All these greedy ass resellers hoarding hoping to drive up prices & make bank need to be taught a lesson. They make it hard for us to cop. I bought a pair of the Bred 4 Reimagined recently on eBay cause they had a 20% off so before tax and shipping it was only 15 bucks over retail. That’s the first time I have paid more than retail for a pair of sneakers since 2020. If you’re trying to buy something that has a high resale value, best believe you have a significantly high chance to have some high quality reps
Its unfortunate we live in a world where its impossible to hit travis scotts for retail and we have no way to guarantee they're legit when buying them from other platforms.. I'd love a pair but just not taking that risk

It’s a shift for sure. Resell is so high and reps are so close to almost identical to the retail pairs. I always say if a person wants the shoe and it’s sold out at their local retailer. Buying a rep is cool, BUT DO NOT TRY TO SELL IT as a retail pair or resell value. That’s the issue I have. Folks show themselves buying retail pairs and get a few reps and sell them at RESELL value. It’s been retail pairs bought from the SNKRS app that’s been labeled as reps. So I don’t really think it’s a 100% clear way to tell on a lot of pairs because Nije/Jordan Brand have sold flawed pairs for decades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The truth is nobody cares ill wear reps if i really want the shoe and cant find it mind your business, whats up with people trying to make sure nike and jordan get every single dollar off of us?
I decided to actually buy some reps from a fake seller and honestly I'll never pay a reseller for sneakers again. The reps are made by hand with real leather. Most using official patterns. The only difference seems to be one is sold by Nike and the other isn't snapped up by reseller bots

They haven't done anything. They just change a color remake an old shoe and tell you it's limited so you're gonna have to pay a really high price for it that's pretty disgusting. It's not like your younger generation is stupid or anything. You know it but your people and people are very programmable. Most people: 1. Don't understand reselling. The game IS in fact who can get them from the Nike Account holder at the lowest price and they will essentially make the actual resell averaged price. To add to that resellers base their price on how many pairs they can get their hands on. The least amount of pairs might translate to their price being high and not ever pair will be sold at the same price because they're focused at their ROI and doing a bait and switch too by choking the market from time to time by holding their sale on pairs to drive the scarcity to cause the price to go up. In reselling its a game of hot potato and you have to keep the potato hot and pass it off before it cools down.(Markup reasonable enough for the next person to still have a margin to make something because you're getting them for the low at a wholesale price... kinda like selling bud). Another example is like Walmart. Walmart is a major bulk buyer and is able to sell at a low price because they have so much of it and they're not looking to get rich off selling just one thing. Its how much they can filling their stores of many things hence the reason why the stores are so big and their concept is a little bit of alot is what make money and why people will always come back. Reselling sneakers is the same. You're not looking to get rich off selling one sneaker. The goal is to keep selling many so you have to keep giving your previous customers (bulk buyers, retailers, and individual customers) a good reason to be loyal to you because you're giving them a good deal they can't walk away from. 2. People don't know the actual process of how and where the sneakers are made. Yes majority if not all nike sneakers are made overseas because of manufacturing capabilities. Overseas plants and warehouses have the squarefeet and infrastructure to mass produce at an enormous rate which makes sense to these brands because its about who can make it to their specifications or standards for the lowest and at the quickest rate will get their contract. Once they're done the pairs get shipped to the brands actual distribution centers to get aired out and so the brand can place their stamps and checks, place them into their inventory before they get shipped out to wholesalers and retail stores. 3.The up and down market: reason why the price goes up and down is if someone's size becomes extremely scarce at the time that person is looking to buy them they will decide to take the biggest L buy bidding or paying a price thats more than its ever been sold which breaks the previous average range the sneaker gets sold at. The more versatile the sneaker is with fits the more value it will have after its official drop.
Happy resellers getting crushed. Fakes looking great, just as good. Jordan’s tanking, all sneakers now flood market affordable will crush fakes and resellers. Bye bye.
The nike quality is horrible, it's the materials are cheap as hell. Besides nike has lost its way, one trick pony for 50 years. Yet another Air Jordan 1 with a washed up rapper. 😂😂😂😂

These are gonna sell out instantly (damn well knowing theyre not) so hit me up before its too late"..."pay for my resell program, again"....do you but dont act like you wanna help people then rip them off the minute you can.....on the rep thing, people gotta stop glorifying fake crap...the mindset of people is the part i dont get...why do you HAVE to wear a sneaker release just to be like everyone else??...if you cant afford it or dont wanna pay 500 then just get a different damn sneaker!...aint nothing wrong with just buying any of the 300 jordan 1, 3, 4, or 5's all sitting at or under retail..shit my favorite damn sneaker out of all the crap i bought is the atmosphere greys that i paid $80 for!

For me Goat is worse than Stock X , never had a fake from stock x

IF YOU DONT BELIEVE STOCKX IS IN ON THIS YOU GOOFY OF THE DAY
❤❤❤❤
I can re!ember a shop in my town that only sold replica Jordan's and air force ones and fake clothes. This was back in 2009 they eventually got shut down by the powers that be. I bought from them multiple times lol , anyway enjoy ya day bro !!
To me, NIKE producing lower and lower quality sneakers are the FAKES. Enjoy the higher quality reps :)
It’s like a home cook meal cuzin or you going to McDonalds 😅 it’s food bro 😂 eat
Ill save money. I'll never pay reaell but i will buy reps if i dont hit on releaase...i just want to wear the shoe but ill never try to sell a rep
He definitely isn’t selling reps and the people that were saying he got them too cheap to be real, are braindead! He paid $420 a pair, that’s slightly below market and honestly a high price for buying 100 pairs from one source. I’m not sticking up for him, cause it aggravates me that people without an account can even source 100 pairs, but the ones saying they are fake are ridiculous. Not too mention if you have the slightest clue what you’re looking at, it’s not hard to tell the difference between fakes and a legit
Even the real one's feel fake .....cheap ass material
😅😅😅😅😅😅
And some of the fake ones are made with better materials and less glue stains
And all the years I’ve seen sniper kicks, sell shoes I’ve never seen them with that many Travis Scott got to be fake
The term "Fake shoes" is soooo dumb to me. What when u go to touch the shoes they vanish into a marage? When you grab them are they a cake 😂 no mf there shoes . And the high quality reps some are even better quality then the retail pairs.
I’ve bought over a hundred pairs from x not one fake but also wear a 16
Man it’s just shoes at the end of the day cotton and leather at this points it’s their money and this ain’t the 80s we in a new era these kids living life
I Need a pair of Fake TS.
Why do you keep saying “Loki”? Isn’t that just a comic book guy? 🤔
But yall love to buy older shoes from stockX. Where do they come from?? They are shipped from China lol
I hate to see this creepy crap that Nike keeps doing encouraging you to keep buying these retro shoes for exorbitant prices, making you join the drama train of some seriously fake stuff and I'm not talking about the replicas. They haven't done anything. They just change a color remake an old shoe and tell you it's limited so you're gonna have to pay a really high price for it that's pretty disgusting. It's not like your younger generation is stupid or anything. You know it but your people and people are very programmable. Any generation I stupidly play the exorbitant prices of current designs of fashion. I just like to do it with a little bit of desire and not fall into the programming freaking Nike you're doing us dirty.
Fakes all day! Why would I pay resell?
Wow so Reps are better than Nike QC ❤❤❤❤❤
Fake sneakers the best paors absolutely come form tj
He same maker continuing to make more after order to nime is filled . That is facts my grandpas wife worked in one of the factories and could get me anything before she came to states and they passed all checks
these kids are buying fakes on purpose because resellers are cockroaches
I buy reps 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Always go in person to avoid all this. If you cannot go in person or get the photos to authenticate the item through a seller…pointless. Was going to buy some used Travis Forces and Off whites for like $550…he sent the pics before I went anywhere and guess what? REPLICA. always check your shit.
Every single idiot on here who sees a pair of shoes online and says fake is just trying to be cool. Mfs cant even tell reps from retail in person with shoes in hand these days let alone a quick video or picture on the internet 😂
I don’t believe his boy’s story at all. What I believe is his boys, boi copped them from ling ling in Reddit. Because everyone of them usually comes with the StockX tag. So they blame StockX, cause that’s the go to story. Knew his boy had a legit pair and wanted a comparison. And when the smoke cleared this was the story.
U cant worry about wearing reps or fake shoes and u driving around in a honda or kia type cars. Working at some Mcdonald and Wal-Mart shoe money
I buy retail and I buy high-quality reps I don’t sell shoes I wear them if I want it I’ll buy it
They are all made in China., it’s just the quality control.
I'd rather not have the shoe than intentionally buy fakes, ya'll rep collectors/rep lovers are wild 😒
Why is every post so negative about sneakers? I’m sure you spend lots of money on shoes
What has nike done you for u lately nothing
Not buying fakes. Don’t condone it in the culture
No such thing as a sneaker culture lol
Stop buying shit from StockX
Most people:
3.The up and down market:
reason why the price goes up and down is if someone's size becomes extremely scarce at the time that person is looking to buy them they will decide to take the biggest L buy bidding or paying a price thats more than its ever been sold which breaks the previous average range the sneaker gets sold at. The more versatile the sneaker is with fits the more value it will have after its official drop.
Nike sellling plastic sneakers
😂😂😂were what want if aint paying bills last checkd sneaker heads are scammer run p4ice for everbodyplus alk made in 😂😂😂 in china ill copy reps oh well
The way some of yall are open to saying you buy and wear reps is second hand embarrassment
Hood mentality
Happy resellers getting crushed. Fakes looking great, just as good. Jordan’s tanking, all sneakers now flood market affordable will crush fakes and resellers. Bye bye.
Who cares bro.
The nike quality is horrible, it's the materials are cheap as hell. Besides nike has lost its way, one trick pony for 50 years. Yet another Air Jordan 1 with a washed up rapper. 😂😂😂😂
Thank you!! Lost all respect with retro J's.
Hispanics are not real sneakerheads, when I was growing up in 09 they wore fake shoes faithfully.
If you can't buy real then why buy a fake? People want to feel accepted into the black culture. Black people made wearing Jordans and other shoes cool.
Sniperkicks is a prime example of using your viewers to overcharge for crap you damn well know they can get for retail...dude overhyped the black 3s then sold them for 300-400 a damn pair to the people he claims he wants to "help" get sneakers for retail...gtfoh...that cornball shit taking advantage of the people that support you is messed up...that guy went from helping people to 19-20 videos straight "pay for my program"..."buy my early pairs"..." These are gonna sell out instantly (damn well knowing theyre not) so hit me up before its too late"..."pay for my resell program, again"....do you but dont act like you wanna help people then rip them off the minute you can.....on the rep thing, people gotta stop glorifying fake crap...the mindset of people is the part i dont get...why do you HAVE to wear a sneaker release just to be like everyone else??...if you cant afford it or dont wanna pay 500 then just get a different damn sneaker!...aint nothing wrong with just buying any of the 300 jordan 1, 3, 4, or 5's all sitting at or under retail..shit my favorite damn sneaker out of all the crap i bought is the atmosphere greys that i paid $80 for!
LMAO @ resellers
