This movie rules! I grew up in a neighborhood with an Outlaw clubhouse. Being from the Chicago area and spending lots of time with people from the South side, Jodie Comer's accent is ON POINT! I couldn't even get over the fact that it was so perfect. I was completely shocked to find out that she's British...
I'm gonna back CR up at 21:00 about Boyd Holbrook. He was coming up at a time when Hollywood didn't care about making new stars. There's definitely a similarity between him and Austin Butler. I think Butler is more charismatic on screen, but it looked like Hollywood was trying with him for a hot second post Narcos with Logan and then The Predator which immediately killed it
Saw The Bikeriders last night I loved it. It really is goodfellas for bikes Tom Hardy was phenomenal, Jodie carries the film, And the biggest thing I took from this is Austin Butler is a stone cold MOVIE STAR
Please make CR permanent. There’s a lot of benefits but #1 for me is that when CR is on the show usually takes off quicker and they get right into the interesting stuff. He has that affect on every show he’s on and it’s very much appreciated. My time feels valued.
I really enjoyed The Bikeriders. It felt like it could've maybe been more fleshed out character-wise. But overall, I really enjoyed the story that was told. A very true and down to earth tale of how motorcylce clubs turned to being legitimate gangs. It exemplified how/why people join these groups for the sense of community and belonging. But also, the very toxic and self-destructive norms that lead them largely down a path of sorrow, unhappiness, or even death. It wa a very informative and enjoyable experience.
I love Chris, but I don't think he should be allowed to talk about Ronin anymore. First, he and Bill don't know why the movie is called Ronin on the Retwatchables. Second, he doesn't select Ronin for the Deniro Hall of Fame. Most recently, he didn't nominate the car chases for the Action Setpiece Draft. And now, he basically misrepresents the dudes in the movie. These dudes definitely rock, especially at driving and shooting. I'm very disappointed in Chris...
How did they have a whole chat about Dudes Rock movies and completely forget _Inception_ and LOTR? Maybe that's on brand, but also, _Ocean's Eleven_ which they love? Where are the heist movies guys?!
If she didn't put on such a strong accent to match the real person, would it have been a worse movie? Would have been far easier to sit through imo and nothing lost...
It's the title of the book. I can't really describe it but I think it's kinda the right title for this story. Fits the mood. Calling it something like The Vandals (the name of the club in the film) would make it sound more intriguing for sure, but also much more dangerous and stuff which I don't think the movie is going for. The bikeriders just sounds much more nostalgic to me, which is what the movie is going for
It’s so embarrassing how invested a middle aged mother is in Taylor swifts love life and celebrity gossip in general. It fills me with such an irrational rage I cannot even begin to express with the written word.
Chris Ryan is a flippin' rockstar and a great third for this podcast.
For any podcast*
Ahhh wrong!
23:33 is gold
CR talking about The Bikeriders is my Super Bowl
"And we're going to sing it for you right now" absolutely killed me
Also, Widows for girls rock
1:06:57 I have never felt more aligned in agreement with someone than I felt with Sean during this rant
Last ten minutes of this episode are incredible, madness bonanza. Undeniable energy, more of that, please.
"You don't remember Master and Commander: Far Side of the World?!"
Thank you Bobby for not falling for the Elvis spell. Dethrone Butler.

she is an incredible actress… kinda sad that some find her annoying in the movie, I think she’s quite adorable and endearing!!! ❤❤❤
Watching the Big picture comment section turn into an annoying , Complaining reddit page in record time is hilarious .
Glad that Masterpiece and Commander got the nod it deserves
Absolutely loved this movie!
When Amanda brings her soft swiftie moments with Sean it’s my fav cause Sean is like what are you talking about 😂
All timer CR episode. Good stuff
Girls rock: Thelma and Louise

Jeff Nichols should make a documentary about Shadow Morton.

He's so good as the Corinthian in Sandman. He lights up the screen whenever he's on and he's playing a real villain in that show.

You must be gayyyyy

The Running Man

Can I get a source for Seans hat?
i loved the bikeriders. funny sean raved about the hitman and is kinda soft on the bikeriders. i had that flipped.
No oceans eleven?
You're right! How did they miss that one?
I was waiting for it and it never came! I'd put Inception and Fellowship of the Ring in this category too.
I’d love a swap of Chris Ryan to the Big Picture and Amanda to the Watch with Andy Greenwald
Barbie maybe for Girls Rock? Ocean’s Eight, Little Women, idk there’s something there. The Descent?
CR doing bad movie accents is my Roman Empire
How did they have a whole chat about Dudes Rock movies and completely forget _Inception_ and LOTR? Maybe that's on brand, but also, _Ocean's Eleven_ which they love? Where are the heist movies guys?!
I'll tell you what dude is rocking in Hunt for Red October: Richard Jordan

The Postman is a good movie IMO. Not a masterpiece but entertaining.
"I don't need margarine. I need butter.". - fuck yeah
Practical Magic is the ultimate girls rock movie btw
Amanda and Sean boxing match when??
Idk what I thought this specific one was about but it’s kinda an entire spoiler alert lol giving this a shot bc I enjoy the rewatchables
I love CR but I don't need him as a third for this pod. Love the dynanamic between just Sean and Amanda
the Lord of the Rings trilogy are elite dudes rock movies.
Am
I thought The Bikeriders was boring with no substance
were you catatonic thru the film?
Desperate for content; must be summer.
Why would they let 2 and a half chicks talk dude movies?
Dobbins is the half chick, she atleast can think like a dude.
It's a chick movie.
Amanda…..The KAREN of the podcast!!!! All She does is Complain and talk about her Son. NOBODY CARES
If you say so, Chad.
This sucks so bad
I found bikeriders pretty forgettable and thought tge soundtrack sucked
Cant overstate enough how lame a title "the bikeriders" is. Cant tell if its laziness or someone actually thought it was a good title. Its not.

Amanda literally brings Nothing too the podcast….Why is She on this show? Aren’t there enough White Wonen who whine and complain constantly?
What is a White Wonen, darling?
@@mattymac1399 They're a fine f@@k but annoying when they talk.
