When one of my son's was an international student, he was not allowed to work for more then three months. He was told you came here to study and not to work. It makes perfect sense. This is a rule not just for international students but for all Belgian students. Their job is to study, secure a good education, then, go to work.

There are refugee hotels with 24 hour security hired to keep homeless and druggies away. I live less than 1hundred metres from one of these hotels. The homeless and druggies loiter outside my building, block my door, end up inside my building and leave their needles near my emergency fire exit and because of the damage they have caused my landlord removed the garbage facilities. Police are tied and unable to do anything besides "shooing" them away. However the general culture of Canada tends to encourage these people. The bank across the street also is acting as a pseudo shelter for these people. I cant imagine wanting to go in there to withdraw money with a vagrant looming over my shoulder. Why are the refugees getting a better quality of life than me, a tax payer?

Now that same truck is almost 2x the price. Can you imagine? $120k for pickup? It used to be that working with your hands was "low class" and a pickup was next to nothing, but how the story can change when you lack leadership who attacks the lifeblood of the economy (oil and natural gas). And also, crime is insane and defending yourself in your home (lethally) should be a right for every Canadian. Instead people have spent over $100k trying to keep out of prison because they defended their families. This needs to be looked at considering the break ins have gotten far worse over time. Criminals get caught and put back on the streets, and the homeowners face bigger charges than criminals who are using illegal firearms and carry more rounds in the chamber because we have asinine firearms laws. They have literally paved over both front yards and joined them together making parking lot in front both houses. They must have 25 cars parked out front. I don’t even know how the city allows it.

My parents were immigrants to Canada, they had to get in by merit, now we're taking people faster than we can house them, causing housing prices to skyrocket and homelessness has skyrocketed. 10 years ago I bought myself a new Dodge Ram sport for work, I paid around 60k fully loaded with every option because business was good under Harper. Now that same truck is almost 2x the price. Can you imagine? $120k for pickup? It used to be that working with your hands was "low class" and a pickup was next to nothing, but how the story can change when you lack leadership who attacks the lifeblood of the economy (oil and natural gas). And also, crime is insane and defending yourself in your home (lethally) should be a right for every Canadian. Instead people have spent over $100k trying to keep out of prison because they defended their families. This needs to be looked at considering the break ins have gotten far worse over time. Criminals get caught and put back on the streets, and the homeowners face bigger charges than criminals who are using illegal firearms and carry more rounds in the chamber because we have asinine firearms laws. We need BIG TIME reform!

Please clean the beautiful Canadian cities of the homeless and the tents where they live. It is a shame to see them lying around in terrible conditions.
