I honestly wasn't planning on trying out Season of Discovery, but I had just bought a subscription with gold since I needed footage for the previous video so I decided to briefly give it a go. That basically gave me enough material to say "eh let's do it" and make a quick video about it.
Personally, I have mixed feelings about it. I kind of feel like it's interesting to try and go for lower level caps for different phases, but most of the runes are not really something too inspiring, as they're just mainly retail abilities/ passives. Some classes just become extra op with the help of the extra options provided by runes. I just want more wacky stuff personally, something like - every single spell you cast as a mage is completely random and can be from any class. I just want to see them go crazy with it. But I suppose we'll see how it develops further on.

@@piketheknight2581 Some new passives and a few abilities that made it into the game in future expansions (like victory rush and raging blow). But in general they are pretty meh compared to some of the stuff other classes get, which is a shame because Vanilla leveling already sucks for warriors.
I guess it’s kinda like a trade off because we all know warriors are going to be the biggest dick pumpers in the end lol
@@piketheknight2581They focused most runes fixing other classes and trying something new. Not hard to not give Warrior huge things when they were top melee dps and only viable tank.
I do like Consumed by Rage, feels like an Arcane Warrior.
Other than that, I do not think people give Victory Rush not enough love. Its your first rune and does help a lot with the downtime without a healer.

I appreciate the Thundercpap rune a lot to be honest. Having it in Defensive stance makes aoe tanking in dungeons bearable as a prot spec for once.

As someone who rolled Horde this time, I need some explaining on that Parrot segment.
there are mages of azora throughout elwyn forest that have polymorphed themselves into critters that arent usually native to the zone. mages have to find them and use their own polymorph on them to free them and get a rune after saving 6. issue is they are neutral like any other critter so anyone can just kill them lol

I love watching Grim's videos over and over, especially after some time has passed. I always appreciate something else. This time, I found the warrior bonding with the kobold to be so wholesome. :)
That gnome at the end is going hard. Also, the music choices were nice.
