Yesterday I heard myself saying "Where in the blue blazes...", and I got to wondering if that phrase had originated in hiking lingo. So I did some (rather shallow) research and it turns out that "Where in the blazes..." is an archaic euphemism for "Where in the hell...", and the word "blue" just got tacked on later, I guess because it tickles the ear.
I have a confession to make: This was the first video I saw last spring. I had no idea your background, your intelligence, your teamwork, and your tenacity. I did not think you'd make it. I learned a valuable life lesson, about judging a book by it's cover. Can't wait for the journey to resume.
