After watching the video like 50 times or so, I finally noticed that the keyboards are not in poor man 3D.
Seriously, sometimes I wish I could be a fly on Jack's wall and learn from how he does all that.

i have a feeling that when mystery guitar man and jack got together, jack played this crazy time signature drum beat just so he could throw off mystery guitar man in proving that he can do stuff mystery man can't fathom. hence the constant drone in the back, which is one note, which is what mystery man added.
it was a cool video, and uber creative. very talented, you've proven that mr. jack. i hope if you guys do it again, you might dumb it down a little..

@SazzieChan I'm a person of very simple tastes and standards. I've seen him play instruments and he's put together pieces of classical music (even if it was only editing). For someone as simple as myself, that qualifies.

I am all for various RUclipsrs collaborating. I found Joel Cathey through Jack's recommendation. I would however REALLY like to see a collab of them together...I suspect it might be too much awesome for YT to hold though.

The "3D" shots of Jack look good, but the "3D" shots of MGM look less like 3D and more like unnecessarily choppy camera work. It seems like the difference in the 2 camera angles were a lot more "slight" with MGM than they were with Jack on this one.
Is this recording available for purchase anywhere?

@freesalute Actually he can play the guitar and a few other instruments. Thing is there are so many regular guitar/bass/whatever players on youtube and doing stop motion music is much more original and entertaining.

They have different styles. They are both great. For all you people saying MGM should not be on here... you are wrong. Jack Conte was not forced to have him here. Jack is not under the heel of some record label telling him he should do things. MGM is here on this video because JACK WANTED HIM. If you Love Jack so much then you should accept the choices he makes for his music. Jack see's MGM's musically artistic talent and he enjoyed it. Bashing MGM means bashing Jack Conte's taste in art. =/

@shakunkadunk mysteryguitarman focuses heavily on video effects, he is more of a video guy rather than musician. Jack on the other hand is a musician - to him video is not as important as sound. You see - very different :)

@Evilhamster95 there are so many people on youtube doing stop motion and making amazing original music like Jack Conte is much more entertaining, for me the novelty of mgm's videos wore off after he just did the same stop motion or green screen thing over and over, i remember back in the days of transporting around his apartment block and printing off thousands of tiny mgm's at sticking them around the room, its just not the same :/
