Gulf is a VideoSong, a new medium with 2 rules:
1. What you see is what you hear (no lip-syncing for instruments or voice).
2. If you hear it, at some point you see it (no hidden sounds).
By the way, the bullet time effect is achieved by filming and recording the guitar track 8 times in an arc, then switching between the angles at about 2-3 frames per second. All of the layers are still in the audio mix, so it still follows all the VideoSong rules.

I miss this era of Jack Conte. I get that every artist has to grow, but I loved this style and these style of videos more than the new projector/monome stuff.

I really miss looking forward to the next VS album, but it looks like you're too focused on Patreon for this style to make a comeback. The fact that it has stood out in my mind enough to tell many people about it over the years - I listen to it now and nothing has changed. I know you are very busy with other projects but please Jack, do some more solos. I check your channel every so often & when I see your last posting was 3...4...5...6 years ago, it makes me sad.
