I met him in real life. Incredible guy, down to earth, ethical and intelligent.
the fact that this guy literally went broke to produce this very cool music video n led him to build a revolutionary multimillion dollar startup is just astonishing. plus the beat is crazy good too i would save it on my spotify playlist
7 years ago, I watched this and thought it was too different from the ol' Jack Conte videos, but was in awe anyway. Now I watch this again, and it still kicks ass! What an awesome video and catchy music

WATAFOOOOOOK, I had just watched the "Patreon CEO shares his most epic failures" and i've been getting a lot of surprises. First i Discovered that you are pomplamoose (A band i`ve been hearing a lot on Spotify, but not investigating that much about them) And 2) You literally inspired me to do a lot of things with your robots and laucnhpad videos. I remember watching this vids when i was a kid. Damn man you are really great!

well...we probably all have an idea, what this means and how much jack put into that in time, heart, innovation, passion....to me he´s a creative genius and an incredible gentle sophisticated guy. We all benefit from his ideas not only in aesthetical terms but also the visions how to overcome the unfair payment mess for creative people. I wish that the patreon idea won´t get occupied by the usual hyenas, who appear wherever money is generated. We - are the artists!! keep going, Jack.

What's even more fascinating is that Conte built everything on the set himself. There's a youtube talk that he gave about being a content creator and showing a time lapse of him building the set while his girlfriend Nataly was on tour promoting her album. Seriously, the guy's genius.

This is true art, true creativity that rises from passion for something, greatest respect to jack conte for creating this masterpiece beating all odds and lows, I occasionally get reminded of this song and come right back to here it. To think that he made such a mindblowing set and unimaginary scenarios and robots this is a real masterpiece from a man who has devoted everything to music.

Wow, I actually couldn't think of a worse person to bring up when talking about people felling bad about themselves. I just watched a colab with Louis Cole and John Scofield and wondered how such a wonderful thing could happen. During that video I thought "hey--that's the Pamplamoose guy" and came here. Then I realized I was literally seeing a piece of internet history that ended up funding things like "Singletrack Sampler" and "Fall of Civilizations". Wow.
Fall of Civilizations podcast is one of the most incredible pieces of storytelling media I’ve ever enjoyed. Epic. The episode on the Aztecs was brutal and heartbreaking. I was speechless for a long while afterwards
