THE S20 FE IS THE MORST COMPELLING PHONE OF THE YEAR with 95% of the ultra features. And just because its at a midrange price, doesn't mean its a midrange phone. If thats the case, than the iphone 11 at 699$ is also a midrange phone I have the s10+, trade in value is $450, making the price 250$, plus a 70$ credit that they give you to put towards another product . The 699 FE has trade in program bringing the price down to 300$ so yea, trade it in
I have been researching this phone for some time now and I am sold. my only question is whether or not it will come down in price soon. I hate to spend 700.00 and then find out a week or two later that it went on sale much cheaper. I know my dil just got the note twenty for five hundred on sale .
I agree that the whole curved screen thing is supremely annoying, and I am happy that I finally heard somebody on RUclips who doesn't think that curved edges are the greatest thing since sliced bread!
I was ready to buy the FE but I'm now holding out because of the touchscreen problems a lot of users are currently having, if it turns out to be a software issue that's fixed the phone will be back on my radar.
I have the S20 FE, if cameras are important to you keep your S10 Plus cause the cameras on my FE are kinda disappointing, especially the front facing camera is trash.
How did you find it? Thinking I will upgrade to the FE from my S8 which I love but has a screen burn now. Are the Selfies faded? I saw few comments saying it aint good for selfies.
The thing about the Pixel is their track record. Has google released a single pixel that didn't turn out to have some mildly to completely catastrophic hardware flaw? Whether it's bending, screen problems, slowdown, swelling batteries, etc, always send to be a problem. I flat out don't trust them. Samsung has messed up once, albeit in about the worst way possible, out of the 4837463836362 phones they have released. Between competitive Google and Samsung phones, I'd always choose Samsung, because I trust them a lot more to have properly vetted the hardware.

happiness is on your side, in your area you get the snapdragon version
Is livefocus mode available with telephoto lens? Plz reply
Love the opening metaphor.
THE S20 FE IS THE MORST COMPELLING PHONE OF THE YEAR with 95% of the ultra features. And just because its at a midrange price, doesn't mean its a midrange phone. If thats the case, than the iphone 11 at 699$ is also a midrange phone
I have the s10+, trade in value is $450, making the price 250$, plus a 70$ credit that they give you to put towards another product . HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT !!!
And idk why ppl keep brining up the standard s20 for 670 on Amazon, BECAUSE YOU DONT GET A WARRANTY FROM AMAZON. Plus it's 670.
Samsung has achieved perfection in smartphones. It cannot get any better now. It's just comes to saturation point.
under screen selfie camera?
@@nerd2544 good news, it's now a reality and 2nd generation on ZTE is perfect
I was ready to buy the FE but I'm now holding out because of the touchscreen problems a lot of users are currently having, if it turns out to be a software issue that's fixed the phone will be back on my radar.
Thinking of upgrading from my s10 plus. Finally a Snapdragon in Australia. But will go for the 256 gig with 8 gig ram
Yes that's the one I ordered too!
I have the S20 FE, if cameras are important to you keep your S10 Plus cause the cameras on my FE are kinda disappointing, especially the front facing camera is trash.
8 gb of ram wont make it any better... just less battery life.
@@jimbom6307 true thank you for that
@@Young_Dab I don't use the front cameras ever. Maybe once it twice in the whole time I've had it. Night wait till s21 then. Thanks

Why is the LG wing in some of the b roll. 🤔

I'm upgrading from a s10 to this s20 fe in green happy days.
is it worth from s10? what about s10+?
How did you find it? Thinking I will upgrade to the FE from my S8 which I love but has a screen burn now. Are the Selfies faded? I saw few comments saying it aint good for selfies.
Samsung phones are great phones! Good job!
I used some samsung and google phones and I agreed with you. Google phones always have hardware issues while Samsung phones are the software problems. Currently Im using OnePlus they are fast and smooth, much better than those two main companies.
@@sabaikhmer I had a 1+3 back in the day, and it was completely trouble free for me. I still keep it around as a backup, in fact. They're definitely a good brand.
@@sabaikhmer I just moved to the S20 FE from a OnePlus 7T. Outside of the camera, they perform about the same. I've owned 5 OnePlus devices and they're great.
@@sabaikhmer Samsung devices have always had way more hardware and software problems than Google phones but you don't see tech reviewers covering them because they get swept under the rug. That and /or Samsung pays them to keep the widespread problems hushed. Ever since switching to Google from Samsung, all of my problems and headaches have virtually vanished. It was a no brainer, wonder when Samsung will make a reliable device for once?
@@DeadofWinter321 You need to get a life. I've seen you comment on multiple Samsung reviews always trying to say something bad about the company. You're obviously a Pixel fan boy which is fine, but grow up and stop trying to troll like a 12 year old. If Pixels were as good as you say they are then they'd be the number one smartphone company in the world. News flash, they're not.
you do realize there is a 8gb variant of the S20 Fe, right?
Good thing they went with a flat screen. I personally despise the curved trend... I'll wait until they drop the price some more.
Traded in my Pixel 3a at T Mobile and got the S20 FE for free. Can't complain about that.
Is it a deal going on? What did they value the 3A at?
😲
Sounds like a downgrade. I would've kept the Pixel 3a.

Skipped the S10, and the S20 starting at over $1k stomped on my dream of another flagship phone.
Then I saw the pre-order deal at T-,Mobile on the S20 FE 5G.
It was a sweet deal, a Tom Sawyer kinda deal.
I gave up a headphone jack, but got 5G, faster charging, and bigger screen that still fits in my pocket.
As to speed, on 5G Im getting 20Mbps.connecting to wifi at work, I noticed a duplicate network available that said "5G".
Im getting 175Mbps on it
how the do they price 5G? you eat up hundreds of MB in seconds
@@nerd2544using my S20FE 5G on t-mobile 5G network I get 20Mbps.

@jdouglas8585 i did misread. My plan is unlimited with 50GB full speed, with throttling possible after that if network congested.
T mobile charges $50 flat fee for first line.
I love it my Samsung S20 Fe 😍😍😍😍
Just got it todayyyyy
Just ordered for my wife, sprint / tmobile 8.99 per month for 24 months. Not bad. Too bad there are no cases in stock for it on Amazon.

Oh no, reviewing an Android phone while wearing an Apple Watch. Credibility level: 0.
...did you turn off beauty mode with your selfies? That smooths things out when enabled by default
ive been using a oneplus 3 for 4 years now.
im quite sure that the s20fe "will hold up" more than three years, as we have seen that the need for processing power hasnt gone up that much in recent years.
i dont think that will chang ein the coming years.
i dont use my phone for gaming
and if this phone wont be able to load a webpage smoothly and keep whatsapp in ram, than the software is at fault, not the hardware.
Samsung doesn't have the best track record..

I have a note 10. Pre-ordered this. Does anyone think I should just keep the note 10 or is this a upgrade somehow? Only thing I see objectively better is the display refresh and battery
Dude, your Note costed $900 plus, why would you downgrade to a $700 phone?
@@Young_Dab good point. I was thinking though.
Bigger full HD display same as the note
Better processor(less ram)
Very similar camera
120hz refresh
Removable storage.
To me the note just looks and feels better and I THINK the camera is better but I have yet to really prove it since receiving the s20 FE. To me the phone I really want is the note 20 base model but I can't justify spending $1000 for it and this phone checks some of those same boxes
Also I got this s20 for free and got the note for $500
Only 6GB of RAM. Do you see that as a problem? I thing Samsung needs 8 to prevent lag. Thoughts?
S20 fe has UFS 3.1 storage.. if you know what that means, it writes and read data very fast..
you don't need plenty of ram.. 6gb ram with ufs 3.1 is a sweet spot.

S20 FE vs iPhone 12 Mini will be my contenders for my next phone
Got it free at tmobile for adding a lime, which I needed anyways for work lol and it's only 20$ a month if I would have just added it to my existing line I would be paying like 27.. so cheaper that way lol.
I got mine 2 days ago and I wish Reviewers would tell ppl how the clarity of the screen and the colors dont pop as good as my 3yr old S8 active . Huge difference, i thought 3yrs newer it would be better if not the Same. It bothers me so much that I'm debating returning it unfortunately.
@Dami Fash nope vivid. I posted this elsewhere and many ppl agree and have returned witch is what I did n ordered a s20+ for same price
Don't know man, I've compared it with the note 9 and watching hdr content which has its own color profile they are both the same.
Wow. I still have the S8 and love it but now it has a screen burn. Was thinking whether to fix it as I love its camera or buying the Fe...
@@diane_4 yes my s8 active got screen burn as well towards end of using it. I still have it in my draw and works 100%.. back when I made this post I returned the s20FE because the pixels wasn't as clear as I wanted, I bought a s20 plus and still using today and I love it! I got the newest android n Samsung updates as well. I heard many good things for the Samsung a52 5g for the price so my wife got one 2 weeks ago and it's really nice and has every feature pretty much the Fe"s have but less money. We use cricket wireless and they are selling the A52 5g for only like $350-400 or find a refurbished s20 plus would be my recommendations from experience. The s21"s wasn't really no upgrade imo and now Samsung doing away with expandable storage is b.s imo. I personally dont like it. Its awkwardly too big. Its in between the s20 which feels perfect, and the s20 plus. Its slightly too big and is uncomfortable to hold (without a case) also the back just feels cheap. I'm gonna just keep my s8 for another year or two.

For God’s sake. 50000 Indian rupees, 700 USD is not cheap.. midrange for a normal earning person by any mean !!
Man I rather not pay $1300 for top tier or even $1000 so when they release a $700 phone (which most people are getting for 600 or less) it's a steal of a deal
Shiraz Pervez That’s what I meant. Companies just keep getting phones pricier, just bcz phones are selling. 2-3 yrs back even 700 USD or 50k Indian rupees was a flagship phone price.
@@sauravverma you're right bro. Even $700 is too damn much! What works best is every 2 years you trade in your phone. Samsung gives you 450 or 500 for your old phone. If you keep doing that then the price comes down over time.
