I love my S20FE
I comment to you when I got first got it and you reply I like everything but not the front camera the 32mp "high resolution" feels like the same camera as the s7 both did not have Auto focus and also the s20fe front camera feels like a midrange tbh in my opinion isn't clear the s10e front camera more better 🤷🏼♂️ i like everything else the main cameras is perfect and the inside specs 120hz and 4,500 battery and bigger screen but not the front camera oh well that my opinion. I love Samsung but every time they fix something the fan complains the next year remove something else's I been with Samsung since the first Galaxy S I am a true Galaxy fan but they need to make things better and improve more like dont charge $699 for not a great front camera no matter what tone you use original, cool or warm looks the same its bad for me and I got it October 2 2020 everything the phone offers is perfect but if you like front camera I suggest wait for s21 it is rumor to be 6.2 flat 3,800 mah battery and its different from the leak of the back camera curve in and its metal supposedly and looks 2 tone for next year I am pretty sure it will have auto focus on the front and you can trade in that what I did for the s20fe next year I will trade it in for the s21 since Its flat I will have to see in person this time and not pre order because the front camera is a no go and the rest of the phone is better thank goodness I didn't pay $699 for it

I couldn't agree more. A phone like this makes you seriously question paying $1000.00+ for any phone.
I guess Samsung learnt their lesson? Since the Note 20's release, they've been releasing products that are more worth the price
After this. How is Samsung going to get away with selling the next Galaxy for 1k if Samsung sold this for $100 less. This would of been the best phone of 2020

I'm getting this for Black Friday sales.
Already ordered it. Before this phone came out I wanted to get the regular s20, but it's telephoto camera is just cropping down from 1.1x to 3x (so it's basically digital zoom) and I don't like the curved glass, so the FE is much better imo - and that for 300 bucks less

2:43 I remember that my Galaxy S8 Active was like that: it was a dualsided and compressed SIM tray where the SIM and MicroSD card were stacked so that there was more room for the larger battery.
I love being able to have a phone that does not need a case anymore. The back is plastic and not glass anymore!!! Just with a screen protector I am fine!!

Same here but having a clear case shows off that color (red) and a simple screen protector saves on the scratches.

I agree, perfect combination of price/performance. Had it for 3 days and it’s amazing.. especially the battery- coming from an S10e. Day and night, definitely more than doubled my on screen time!

@@Marthax1234 Is it sort of like a bump? I returned mine because of this, also the ghost touches that happen. Oh and ending calls because of the virtual sensor not detecting my face. Other than that, terrific phone for emulation and gaming. Don't use social media though so Idk about scrolling insta feed or reddit etc.

Great job on the video ... Yeah the battery is definitely weird , my FE does the same ... drops quickly when at 100% but does slow after 90%.
The hardest thing is finding a case and screen protector right now.

I've had the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE for a week now. It was 700 but I am trading in my LG G8 Thinq and getting 500 from t-mobile. On top of that I got a code (t-mobile insider website) that is going to give me a 200 visa card for upgrading to a 5g phone. So getting this for free is amazing!
I have been thinking about switching to ios so that I can iMessage my boys on their iPads (they don't have phones yet) but I don't want to pay 400 for iPhone SE with a tiny screen when I can get this Samsung for free. And I like android.

Hi Nick great review picked this up last week has Samsung which my girlfriend informed me had a great pre-Black Friday sale (new to me). Anyway traded my S10+ got $460.00 credit and the phone was on sale for $149.00...so I added $60.00 and got the unlocked one with 8GB-RAM and 256 internal storage....so $209.00 out the door!! Even without the deal its an amazing device love It (5G on T-Mobile works great , Great Camera, and 120 HZ screen with flat display)!!

Hey you mentioned that the screen is sharper on the s20 because of higher res. Does this mean even the regular 1080p looks sharper on the s20?
Is 1080p on a 1080p screen not equal to a 1080p on a QHD screen? It would really help if you could elaborate on this!
How does this phone compare to the A71? I know the A71 has a head phone jack and this one does not. How do they compare?

Your one of the biggest RUclipsrs in my opinion personally, and i appreciate all your tech videos on devices....I am really hoping i can get the Samsung S20 FE 5G soon hopefully, not sure if i will but i'm hoping i can!!! Right now I'm using the iphone XR and i have had this XR for a few months, as much as i like it in most cases it does have flaws because it keeps freezing up especially when i'm trying to type here and there so it's pretty annoying, I am really missing android and Samaung is the best or one of the best as far as android in my opinion.

I'd love to use the phone without a case, but the larger triple camera lends to some difficulty. Worried i might damage it. A case makes a more flush back.

Also i didn't want a 5g phone ..but there was no alternative..
The plastic back is ok for me ..cause it doesn't break ..

If you trade in your phone on Samsung’s website, you can get money for your S9, so you can spend less on your S20 FE.
You can get up to $210 if your phone is working completely fine for the Galaxy S9, but if your screen is cracked, then it’s reduced to $160.

I bought the cloud mint, specifically because they kept the specs I want (120hz, in display fingerprint, super amoled display and most recent snapdragon) while losing specs i don't personally use (super high mp cameras, curve display)
Hi Nick. Great video, many thanks. In my area there is no 5G, nor in next year or 2. Is there a fundamental difference between the 4G and 5G models of the FE? I think the 4G will do it for me, and saves another £100 of list price. Thoughts please
Biggest difference is that the 4G version doesn't have the Snapdragon 865 chip. It has an exynos chip which isn't as powerful. But besides that no other major differences
Coming from the pixel 3a and 4a I decided to try out a big phone it's been awhile I wanted to love it but I just couldn't get into this one, not because it lacked power or specs I just value that one handed use in a phone. I hate always needing 2 hands even for simple tasks if I need to reach across the display, just inconvenient to me, but if you don't mind, it's a great device for sure.
What about one-handed mode?

I was ready to switch to another "premium" phone or to a mid range phone after went north of $1k.
Stumbled across a sweet pre-order deal combined with what I consider a premium phone well under $1k.
A no brainer switch from my old S9 to my new S20 FE 5G.
Traded my broken s9 to them for $250 on samsung website, -$30 bc I claimed I was a student, came out to $416 lol
Tmobile offered the S20 FE 5G free (over 24 mo) with addition of a line.
Gave my S9 to the friend paying for added line, and I got the $70 Shop Samsung credit. I felt like Tom Sawyer getting other kids to paint the fence...

I see it labeled on many comparison sites this has a 32 bit DAC, but no one mentions this. Only complaints I'm hearing with the phone is the screen has been having over sensitivity problems, call volume is bad, and the screen scratches quite easily.
I would love a response back please many youtubers never respond. Does the s20 Fe have the edge display still? Wish all colors would be available on each carrier though. I really wanted a red one too.

I'd like to know if the S20 FE 5G is really worth to buy in 2022 if I can't wait for the S22 Ultra/Note or if you don't want to buy the S21 FE because it removed the minor but lovable feature on an FE phone (which is microSD card expansion since the S20 FE 5G already lack the headphone jack)?
Because my A71 began to suffered from durability issues like unresponsive touchscreen and glitchy screen. I was fortunate that my A71 is my second daily driver phone as I do have my first daily driver phone but it's not a Samsung phone.

Before I start watching, I wanna say it’s a step backwards removing the headphone jack. Also my carrier, Verizon doesn’t have many color choices. I always prefer black or silver but only found bright and vivid colors.

Headphone have been going away since 2016 and it's not even the majority that's complaining anymore. I do agree but let's be honest it's not coming back

I have the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition and I am very pleased with it especially the battery life and size of the phone for a decent price. I don't believe in paying $1000 for a phone unless you choose to or you're a reviewer like yourself when the average consumer can get a great smartphone for around $700 or less.

It depends on if ur a ios user or android bec. If u like ios better u may not be comfortable with the s 20 fe but overall it's great phone
