Brother, do not conform. I watch your content for your story. Not the "influencer" bullshit that clouds the internet. You are true. You are honest. Thank you for your openness and honesty. At the end of the day, it is your life.
I always enjoy your content. It's not about the rig you're in. For me it's about the exploring, the outdoors and appreciation you have for the land. You do you. To quote Dr. Seuss, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." Thanks for the great content. Keep up the good work!
"Rules that they put on you"... that says all that needs to be said. Live your life your way, pursue your adventures as you like. Most of us who follow you enjoy what you present and those who don't are free to look elsewhere. I'm not a van guy and even less a Ford guy but those are the tools you chose to pursue your craft so far be it from me to complain. Love your Oregon adventures, she is my adopted home state even though I can't be there at the present. So... "Peace be the journey."
RMT approached you because your subscribers love your channel and you have influence. That's earned!! When I first subscribed to your channel a couple years ago, I had a JLU Rubicon, I recently traded in for a Gladiator Rubicon. I don't care if you do your adventures in a Nissan Sentra, I watch because of you. The way you treat people, the way you treat your animals and your amazing videography and photography skills. You're kind enough to bring us along especially during these Covid days. Please keep doing what you do.
Thinking about the lives that were lived in that old ranch house and the dreams they had in such a beautiful and desolate location literally brought tears to my eyes. It brought back memories of my grandparents and Uncle Jim's farms in rural eastern Kansas that, while not abandoned, are no longer occupied by farmers and all the barns and out buildings are slowly decaying away and collapsing.
It's always kind of poignant for me to think about possibly having generations living and working on a property. Living out their lives there, improving the land, etc. Then as generations progress, the newest may not be interested in this type or work or that lifestyle (and while that is kind of sad, it's totally fine). So you're finally left with the one last generation living there until they are just too old to live that life of solitude (or they pass away out there). Finally the property is just sold off or abandoned. For MANY MANY years that house and property was such and important part of people's lives. They worked hard to keep it up and build it up to the point it was at. There was probably such a strong sense or pride and accomplishment when thinking about that homestead. Now it's just abandoned.
Haha, I am glad you liked it, your content is awesome and you keep pushing me to reach that next level, I wish you would stop your wearing me out😂. Jason
You be you! Variety keeps us alive. Pushing boundaries, comfort zones and expectations to what life is for. Thanks for sharing ALL your growth and curiosities.
Follow your heart Jason! Its your life to live! There is a creator that designed and hand made the outdoors you enjoy so much. He's the only one that matters. Love your stuff! Thanks for all you share!
It is so gratifying to follow a channel like Jason’s and see the skill of the videography improve exponentially. But just not the technical skills;, the heart and soul of the content has improved so much as well. Thank you Jason for your videos. They mean a lot.
You have one of my top 5 favorite RUclips channels, you do you for the rest of your life! Dont listen to anyone, this is your story and MANY of us love following it! Even my 2 year old son will sit calmly with me while we watch your videos. You are living the lifestyle I dream of living! Keep on keeping on Jason!
Please keep doing what you do. You are not breaking the rules, you are making the rules. If you make the rules they belong to you. They are yours to break if you so wish. Wishing you a blessed week.
Drive and camp in anything you want. Always keep your options open. Haters gonna hate. Love your content and story. You have over 100:1 positive ratio. Even if it was inverted, I'd still watch.
Every journey is about learning and trying new things, including gear. I cant imagine why anyone should object to you trying out new stuff when you get the chance. And I can't imagine a more classic American vehicle than a Jeep for overlanding - what a perfect match for this channel!
I have been watching your videos for a over a year now and love your beautiful adventures. Your kind heart you have shown us on this channel. Keep you spirit soaring to new places new adventures . That what keeps you authentic. P.S. Prayers to your girlfriend and her healing.
Went and had a reset this weekend came back home and appreciate life even more the camping get away was what my family needed keep the fire burning content is on point aloha !
Your adventures are amazing. Thanks for sharing them. Your life , your business , your adventures. Change is welcomed by those who have an open mind. The world constantly changes. You learn form your experiences and grow from them. 👍
Jason, to me it doesn't matter what or how we get there. It is all about the adventures of life. I think your doing an awesome job and enjoying what you do, that is what would matter.
Another great video. Almost broke my heart to see Daisy left behind. Our Golden gets upset if we leave her for any extended period of time. That ranch house was so cool. Living there takes a hardy breed of person. Take care and thanks for the video, Al
In my opinion. One should not do what they want you to do. We are still in the land of the free. This is your channel and you can’t make everyone happy. Don’t let someone ruin your day because they are having a pissy moment. I enjoy your content, especially where you roam around. You are showing me places that I didn’t know existed. I hope in a couple of years I can start my travels and try to find some of these places. We have different natural beauty here in the east and I look forward to finding the west. Thanks for showing us the old homestead. Too bad no-one is taking care of it. As a gear head, I have truly enjoyed the building of the van and look forward to further upgrades. I don’t own a Jeep, but if someone offered me one for 10 days use. Heck yeah! I will have another shot in memory of Wheeler tonight! R.I.P.
Keep doing whatever makes you happy. I follow you because of your journey. You can’t please everyone. Just take care of you. Thanks for any video you make for me to watch. I appreciate you.
Jason, Great story telling, as always. I appreciate your view on the outside and the many ways you choose to showcase it through your eyes. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your life w/ all of us cyber peeps and keep your head up. "May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall softly upon your windshield. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.”

What an amazing place, Jason. The scenery is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing your adventures and taking us along. Let’s keep breaking rules! Cheers!
Break the rules Jason. I look forward to seeing you doing anything. You tell great stories in your photography and words. Do what makes you happy we will still be watching.
I love your content no matter what you drive, how you camp, or how you film it, just keep being you . I am not a Jeep owner, but I like that Gladiator!
Been a patron for a while and I couldn’t care less what you drive, I follow you for you adventures and photos. As long as you’re enjoying it and keep creating these awesome videos and virtually taking me out of my home in the city keep doing you. Don’t let the few negative opinions bother you.
I love your content no matter what not because of any boxes of content that people put you in. It's because it's your story I love the authenticity!!! Keep doing you!
Break the rules! I enjoy seeing the different vehicles you have been able to use in your videos. And that last camp in your video is my kind of spot. Set up camp, go fish, make dinner, sleep, wake up, fish, come back and make breakfast.
We like that you make your own rules. My wife and I look forward to drinking our cocktails and watching your videos doing what you do. If you did what everybody expected every time, it might get a little boring. So I just like to say we’re glad you do what you want to do.
I don't care what vehicle you drive. Since I've been subscribed I've seen you camp in the back of a truck bed, in a pull behind trailer, a van, and now a Jeep Gladi. I watch your videos because I enjoy your story telling, your excellent production values, and the incredible scenery. I also learn quite a bit from your videos that I can apply to my own camping trips.
For me, (a guy at the other side of the continent) this is about the story. Your story, your authentic creative process and superb imagery. Your channel your rules. Just looked like you went exploring to some new and beautiful territory that I may never have seen if you hadn't took the time to share, thanks!
Stay true to your story, Jason. Anything less wouldn't be nearly as relatable or interesting to watch. Your honest portrayal of the life style you love is refreshing. Love the visits to the old homesteads. Great little series in the Jeep.
Dude! You have come so far in the quality of your content. I remember when it was just you and the van. I can’t wait to keep watching all you put out. You have given me the strength to pull the trigger and outfit my truck in order to experience this amazing country!
Great adventure. How you adventure is up to you, not us. Your gift to tell a story with video and narration is outstanding. How can anyone not enjoy watching and coming along with you... Thank homestead was in an amazing location! I can imagine closing my eyes and listening to nature and the sounds of times past telling their story. Thanks for taking us along...
Buddy all I Gotta say is we only have one life to live,so you do your thing the way you do it also the way you want to do it. Ok 👌🏼🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out.
Awesome video Jason! Y'all's video constantly remind me of how beautiful Oregon is , and how much I miss it. I live in Texas and it's beautiful in it's own way, but Oregon will always have a special place in my heart, and all the advantures I experience in the state of Oregon!
I have been to some other states and they do all have their own beauty for sure but Oregon has so much diversity, it never gets boring to explore. Jason
Hey Jason!! I watch you religiously my friend and sometimes the same episode 3 times a day, I’m a stay at home father and a disabled veteran, I’ve gone through welding school and have had about 50 jobs since getting out of the military since March of 2010, I was to afraid to not follow the footsteps of what is seen as being the “norm” or the man that put in his 8-12 hrs a day, but I realized I’ve done it, I served my country and I’ve worked the 12 hr shifts 6-7 days a week manufacturing petroleum pipeline and I finally came to terms that I need to live a different kind of life so I can better myself, or just be a better form of myself as I accept my terms, I get scared not being the “normal” hard working American man that we all see everyday, but I’ve done it and damn it I respect those that do work as hard as I did, but now it’s my time to be a father and take care of two amazing girls and live the happiest life I possibly can, you are doing amazing from what I see multiple times a day and we have sooooo very much to be thankful for. Happy trails brother.
Amazing videos Jason! I'm not even a van guy. I love the outdoors and watching your channel allows me escape the reality of my own '9-5'. I will admit I am a Jeep guy and have been heavily considering a Jeep Gladiator in my future, but don't let that deter from the fact that I loved your channel long before this Gladiator adventure! Keep doing what you love and worry a little less about what you're 'supposed' to be doing. Viewers will always come and go but don't ever let that get in the way of what you love to do! Your passion and hard work is what keeps people coming back. Not a van or Jeep. -Chad
Jason, Your content is fantastic. Thank you foe sharing your adventures. Amazing views of the homestead. The color along the River and your narration.... I found myself sipping on the porch.
Hi Jason, don't worry about the nay sayer, life is short, you just have to enjoy it the way YOU want it, not the way some people would want you too. Enjoy life buddy, life is short, life is beautiful. I love your channel and I enjoy watching your video.
Make your own rules. Who cares what other day. There’s a lot of people who like to hide behind keyboards and say negative things while you’re out there living the life. Keep doing you!
Our overlanding “styles”, tools and equipment are usually not congruent, sir. I (and I think I speak for the vast majority of us), don’t follow you for your mode of transportation or any other tangible item you use. It’s your story telling and the inspiration you instill in us that draws us in. You keep doing you, brother...and we’ll be here no matter what.
Jason, what a cool opportunity to be given. As others have already stated, I watch to enjoy your adventures vicariously, and greatly appreciate each and every time you bring me/us along. Live YOUR life, ENJOY, and thank you.
Caught an episode and have been hooked. For those of us who long for adventure and solitude...you take us away for a little while and allow our minds to escape our lives trapped in the day to day. Appreciate the effort brother!
Brother, do not conform. I watch your content for your story. Not the "influencer" bullshit that clouds the internet.
You are true. You are honest.
Thank you for your openness and honesty. At the end of the day, it is your life.
Jason, your storytelling is unparalleled. Don’t let the naysayers get you down.
I could say it any better.
Pleasantly surprised to see you in a Gladiator. You don’t need to explain yourself man. This is a drama free zone.
rules were meant to be broken. your videos help with my depression more than you know brother. dont ever stop being you.
Don’t let them fence you in Jason, the people who watch you like the way you are.
Agree with that. Like the channel is named. RUclips. Your content. Your choice. I am not a subscriber.... But do like the video's

Really great video! I think most of us enjoy every type of adventure you take, just keep doing what you do, and we will keep enjoying!
Hi Jason, don't worry about the nay sayer, life is short, you just have to enjoy it the way YOU want it, not the way some people would want you too. Enjoy life buddy, life is short, life is beautiful. I love your channel and I enjoy watching your video.
Your videography in this episode was fantastic. One of your best.
Gladiator is very cool. I say make your own rules while being respectful .
Keep on!
Make your own rules. Who cares what other day. There’s a lot of people who like to hide behind keyboards and say negative things while you’re out there living the life. Keep doing you!
Great video! As a Jeep guy I’ve enjoyed seeing you with the Gladiator. You just keep being you.....safe travels!
One of the best outside adventure you have ever made. Keep up the great work.
Very nicely done and great philosophical meaning...always love the the Owyhee Canyonlands. They are another world for sure.
