- This is the 3rd video of my RMT Overland Jeep Gladiator adventure. Spring weather can be very fickle in the high desert bringing a lot of adversity to an Overland trip, but adversity can make the good weather that much sweeter.

Your Primal Outdoors - Camping and Overlanding, I am living the van life in my Ford E350 4x4 Van traveling around the remote public land system in Oregon
Your story telling reminds me of the movie “A river runs through it”.You are a great story teller and I love your channel.
Thank you Gary
@@PrimalOutdoors you just need to add some fly fishing!
Also, check out Leslie Gulch in Owyhee/Malheur Counties (Idaho/Oregon). There are some unbelievable rhyolitic and basalt formations. It would make for some gorgeous photography!
That Gladiator looks like a real offroad machine. When you get that muddy you just have to laugh.
Just watched this on my new smart tv. I have always watched videos on phone. So excited I'm gonna revisit old videos on Large screen.
RMT picked the right guy to test out their Jeep and document it
Thanks that means a lot.
Jason
I love Jason and have camped with him many times. When wheeler passed It hurt just as if one of our 5 cats passed. I would drive my Toyota more miles than it can handle to help him or Casey or Todd. Please understand how yt works, everything is edited/fake. Please don't make life decisions based off yt video's. Jason is one of the most honest youbers you will find. Sometimes he must sell things to survive. Not that jeep or it's products are bad. If you think that I drive a 2001 Tacoma jades me please check your blue book and send me some donos.

Love the right turn u made with the rear end coming around! Miss seeing Daisy💕
Such a fabulous spot down in that canyon. Bummer on the drone. Bet you got a little wet recovering it. 😄
It was beautiful spot as you well know. The river was running a bit higher than when you were there so it was definitely a cold sketchy trip across the river to recover the drone😂
@@PrimalOutdoors As a wise man once observed: adversity makes it sweeter. 🤣
Thanks for sharing! I cant wait to see the video where you sum up the whole adventure and give us your final thoughts on the Jeep Gladiator!
Central/ Eastern Oregon is my favorite place to go camping because the weather is so unpredictable, I love it.
I've been following you for many years now and it's been awesome watching your talents grow as a an artistic content creator. Truly inspirational. Amazing to see others commenting from other countries and shows just how far you've reached. Thanks for another good one. RMT definetly picked the right guy.
Great , the new adventure story is worth a million views ! Keep it up.

The diversity of your adventure is symbolic in many ways ✨
Thoroughly enjoyed the video 👍
I'm glad you didn't lose your drone in the river. Awesome video. 👍🏻
When I was a kid my dad was the only heating service guy who would go to Jordan Valley, Rome and Arock. In the summer he would take me for a week of service calls at ranches in some pretty remote places, the Skinner Ranch-so remote they have an airstrip, even Steen’s Mountain. We lived in Caldwell, Idaho, 70 miles from Jordan Valley. The people loved my dad after years of service to them, even some midnight calls. They were so generous and hospitable, often insisting we eat with them, as you wished you could. They were tough families to live so far away, self reliant-hearty as you said. I remember one guy fed us lunch in his sheep wagon over 30 miles off the paved hiway. And I remember seeing the burial place of Sacagawea’s son, Charbonneau near Jordan Valley. This video took me back to some sweet memories of those trips with my dad, the wild places and the great people we met. Thanks, Jason.
Honestly, how much fun is it to go bombing down muddy roads, fishtailing through turns, all while knowing it's not your vehicle!
That’s the only thing that sucks about having tires sticking out past your fenders it throws mud everywhere. But looks like you’re having a damn good time Jason keep up the good work.
Yeah, I think the KM3s had a little to do with it as well
@@PrimalOutdoors I think wider flares would have fixed that issue.
I've been feeling a little depressed as of late, and this video really encouraged me and lifted my spirits. Thanks Jason. Sorry about the drone.
Great narrating, and you just roll with things, good approach to what life dishes.
You know you have amazing skill with a camera when you put a jeep in a better light than the maker of the darn thing.
Keep up the great work. Your videos and your editing skills are amazing
I am looking forward to the day when the borders reopen. Do some exploring in that beautiful area. For now enjoying your videos will have to do. 👍.
-"how are the roads?"
-"just look at my jeep" 6:17
That thumbnail is EPIC! You do know your way around a camera, just like the bottom of a horse's hoof. :P
Jason from Maryland here.
My fully kitted WJ would eat this up, as would I! Great terrain, great Country!
🍻 Friend of the same name!
Now this is real overlanding . thanks for showing us . Now $30 bucks at the car wash and all good . This has been such a great promotion of what the jeep in the right hands is capable of . Thanks again
Haha, 30$ is about right, I think that is pretty close to what I spent to get the mud off. I had a great time in the Jeep, overall I felt it was good experience.
Jason
Mother Nature is so crazy, and sometimes a guessing game. I enjoy watching the videos.
The weather was definitely all over the place.
Love you sir from India... In the blessing month of Ramadan spread the peace all over the world.
Thank you
@@PrimalOutdoors I very much love love love love your journey and your life.
I agree man.
Really cool with that warm spring and in the snow.
What an awesome trip.
Great content and editing.
Must be a bad month for drones , One guy crashed his threw the back window of his camper another crash his into some bushes and broke it and yours crashed . Looks like an awesome trip thanks for bringing us along .
I really laughed a lot with all that dirt on your 4x4.You have the tires sticking out of the body of your truck, it's not normal at all, or a giant cow shitting on your truck. I love your panoramas and your videos. ❤️❤️❤️
Stay safe and thank you.
That was the same saying I heard when I lived in Portland and also growing up in Honolulu, Hawai’i. In Honolulu it was wait 10 minutes.
Epic 10/10 adventure 👍🇨🇦🎯, excellent job thank u 🙏
Finally had time to sit and relax to watch this video. What an impressive Vehicle for the task. I said in the promo vid that I am not much for Jeeps, but you make it quite persuasive. You sure are not a fair weather adventurer. Thanks for putting out such great content.
Have the same saying about the weather here in Northern Arizona!!! Another great video!!!
really cool drone shots of the Jeep
Spectacular once again!
I say this about your videos almost every time in my comments” Awesome “ ! You take great photos and thanks so much for taking us along ! Thanks RMT for selecting Jason 🇺🇸👍🏻
I think that Jeep suits you, Jason. 😉
Hi! from the u/k Jason. We're all missing Daisy on your travels, our pets add so much joy to our lives, and the days feels empty when they're not around. About the Drone taking off and crashing, are you sure it was one of the Rotor's. One of mine did the very same thing 2 years ago, it just flew into a rock buttress. It was like it had a brain storm. Don't ever stop posting these lovely video's, my wife and i look forward to all your new content.
Nice journey... thanks
Just want you to know that I really enjoy your videography. As usual great to look at and interesting. Carry on, brother.
What a great series 👏
Great adventure!👍🏾😀❤️🇺🇸
Great share and area. I normally watch your videos on the big screen. I don't get to comment when doing so. This one popped up in my notifications so I used my phone and get to comment. I watch all your videos and enjoy them very much. I just wanted to take this moment to let you know this. Since I don't comment on a lot of your videos. They just come across better on the big screen as there is so much beauty to see. Thanks for your effort and hard work to make the content for your channel. Working with my own small channel I know how much work you put into it and the extra steps you take for perfection. You are a inspiration and motivator to me. Thanks again. Be safe and God bless.
Keep up the good work - love the videos - well done
Hey Jason it was nice to see you out side having fun with the good and bad, nice jeep beautiful Adventure, I hope Megan's doing okay and Macy, be safe 🙋🙋🙋
Just really good content. Thanks.
Thank you
More excellent storytelling combined with great video/editing! One of my favs🤙-Josh
Thanks Josh I am so glad you enjoyed it.
Jason
Great video! Good times!!
Great video. I would just like to add #needmorefender.
living in sw idaho i feel ya on the weather changing so often
Hey brother good video I was in Prineville last weekend above Reservoir and the rain made the road into my buddy’s property scary to drive in so I feel you on Oregon desert roads in bad weather.
Outstanding video. And yes, I want to look into that Jeep and set up! They did pick the right person to test and show off their Jeep!
I need this today.
Jason is so right when it comes to rain in Central/Eastern Oregon. The ground turns to a slurry type of mush. I almost got stuck in the Crooked River Grasslands last year. I could barely walk on the mud. Due to the climate, it dries pretty quickly. But it can be a bear.
I love the background music at the beginning of the video.
Thanks for another adventure, I needed this episode. Full lock down here in the Netherlands with all borders closed. Keep up the great video’s
Once again another great video. Thanks for all videos that you have shown and all that are to come. You and your adventures are the reason why I went out last year and bought a small camper trailer. Thanks again.
I am so glad you enjoy them, thank you for watching
They used to have a nice little diner in Rome
Jason you need a collapsible water bucket! I’ve used one for years. I’d like to get you one.
9:02 less than just a day more like one hour 😂
Gorgeous area! Spring sounds just like ours in Alberta! Stay safe and free. 👍😉🐾🌲🌻🔥
Wow! You knocked it out of the park on this one!!! Had a pretty heavy day yesterday and this took me away and into the backcountry for 17 minutes. Thanks Jason
I am glad it gave you the reprieve you needed, hope you have a better day today.
Jason
you keep saying we, but i only see you...... or are there special friends that travel with you that only you can see. love your work.
Really enjoying your content!
THANK YOU FOR GETTING BACK TO ME ! BE SAFE !
Your beard is looking really great!
That Gladiator build is similar to mine. I've been contemplating going to a wheel that Jeep offers with more back spacing to tuck tires in more under the flares. Another RUclipsr did it to his JL for that exact same reason and it worked well. Watching what you went through convinced me to quite thinking about it and fork out the dough and just do it. That was God awful nasty. Thanks for the inspiration Jason.
great vid!
Nice
12v pressure washer ,simple to have, great results, plus installing functional mud flaps
I only did one trip without front mud flaps. Never again will my Gladiator get that muddy!
I just put my drone in the ocean this past weekend due to dumb thumbs. At least you could recover yours and be spared of the feeling of leaving home with a drone and coming home without one 😞
Thanks for a wonderful glimpse into the Owyhee river canyon, I have a trip planned to that very spot in the near future.
Keep adventuring!
Your captions are amazing. Be proud of yourself and thank you.
Thank you I am glad you enjoyed it.
Jason
Fun sloppy footage. Solid Jeep content! Good story telling👊
Thank you Brandon I am so glad you enjoyed it
Jason
that muddy section at the start of the vid was the jeep in 4x4
I got a lean-to permit for a Connecticut blue trail system this past weekend and boy was it muddy. So muddy in fact I fell twice collecting firewood and was left with a severely muddy butt
Enjoyed this video very much especially the changing weather lol
I’ve been roaming around the forest up by Crater Lake and the weather keeps changing up here as well lol
I’m planning on heading to the desert areas in May.
Maybe I’ll bump into you lol
Cheers mate
Excellent !!!
Thank you
Cool episode! Haha that was muddy, loved the peacefulness of the next day.
Jason Awesome my Friend!!! Be Safe !!!
love it of what you r doing
That place is just beautiful. Truly gods country just stunning! All your adventures are in rough rider territory but you manage to get through. I wish you had the drone too I know some of those photos would be a winner. Great video Jason just loved it .
Driftin' with a Gladiator!
In port Angeles WA you can see all 4 seasons in 5 minutes 😆 some days but in between some long shots though but you stick around long enough you'd be surprised whatcha can get in day !!? 😆
Damn wide ass tires are nice but they sure make a mess, they should throw on some wider fenders as part of that pkg to prevent that.
Now if only RMT would send me their F-150!
Please more projects with brands like RMT
When the right projects come along I will definitely look into them.
Jason
Love these videos! Can't wait to get back to that area to explore more. Did a lot of off roading back in the late 60's in high school in those areas. Really want to explore some of it again before I get to old to.
man, such a poet. nice.
Every problem we face as an opportunity for growth.
Hi the county side is beautiful, love your jeep , great video
Thank you Sandra
Toyota tacoma 4 life baby! Far Superior than any other truck
They should give you that Jeep, it looks like it works well....
The Jeep did work well, but I am too much in love with my van
Jason
Great video.
Thank you
Jason
Great content 🙏
Thank you
Jason why on these latest videos when I watch I have to have a glass of bourbon with me ;)
Amazing as usual
Thank you John
I do hope you journal and have plans for a book some day. I’d read it.
Amen. A great big coffee table book full of photos!
I don’t about a book, I am the worst at writing😂
@@PrimalOutdoors Just continue being you, that will work.
I can smell the sage brush!
Thanks for another super interesting episode. I really enjoyed it.
I’m impressed by your video capture and editing skills.
Best of Luck, and Happy Camping
Thank you Allen I very much appreciate the kind words
