@@broncobill3902 Some of my best trips over the years have been solo. 100% all on your own. The alternative would be staying at home. Even when you travel in a group you should still approach it as being self sufficient.
What if he get intona serious injury or accident possibly be buried alive in an avalanche or get eaten by a mountain lion. It's safe to say what he is doing is stupid, why can't people just stay indoors do a job and drink some hot chocolate every morning and evening and just sleep, sounds like a better life than being pathetic enough to live like a cave man lol
I absolutely love these videos that have the best of wheeling, but also the serene music and some of the lower key aspects of camping in the wild. As someone who wishes they could get out into nature more for relaxation, these videos are my go-to every week to vicariously live that life. I also really love the Enya-esque soundtrack. Great work Shaun.
Someone buy Shaun a nice coffee mug for Xmas! Great video, and as always, great start to the week. Love the drone footage, from high above to down low in front of the Destroyer!!
Shaun, I live my experiences through you. I so want to do what you do and have set up my gladiator as close to yours as possible based on my budget can afford. I hope to be able to take my wife on excursions so she can experience some great sights. As a primary care giver of a cancer patient I can only hope she can have an opportunity to get out and see things that she enjoys. Thank you and I can respect the experience and the lack of commentary which has a spiritual context that I truly understand. That gives me peace, thank you and please take care.
As the old saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words" the visuals the angles paired with the editing made for such a peacful movie that words would have complecated .. well done im new to the channel but subbed now workin my way through thanks for the content !👍
Shaun, I love your videos, and you are a great presenter, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this format. Thank you for this beautiful video. Give me more of this, please!
By far and above your loudest 21:15 to date for me. Just goes to show how important it is for anyone to get out there, decompress, and trust in your skills and your gear. If this doesn't hit home for you and allow you to understand the importance of LIVING your story, I don't know what can! Superb episode even sans your beautifully narrative voice. My wife and I are planning our first trip now. May you all be so blessed as to kindle your own fire and fan it's flames with the pages of your own story. May you have many adventures to come!
Loved the storytelling of this one, and the audio so crisp with some of those drone shots aswell. I wonder what the fire was at 9:40 perhaps controller burn? (Did it go thru the night?)
We really like your once in a while non-voice over videos. It does enhance the peacefulness of your experience and therefore, ours. Thanks for being there, in more ways than one. As in tai chi, even the Trail Destroyer is in moving meditation.
The footage is outstanding, I feel like I am watching some documentary on Discovery channel. Great work!!! Nice scenery, must have been great trip. How do you deal with wildlife when camping out like that in the wild? This is EPIC!!
That was a good solo trip Shaun. But... If Steven Guilbeault ever watches this video and finds out you just burnt 0.0000001 Trillionth of a dead dinosaur on this trip with the HEMI and the propane heat there will be an extra carbon tax on overlanding right? LOL
Wife and I watch y’all’s show all the time. I know everyone is all about the solo shows, which are great, don’t get me wrong. However for me it’s a little weird when there’s zero dialog. I liked it better when you talked about your trip, when you’re going..etc. Sorry but that’s just weird for me. Keep up the good work.
Love your videos! Makes me want to go on more and more camping trips. I can see where the Howl Campfire gets its name😂 do you have any recommendations on a propane campfire for a 1/4 of the price of the Howl. That whole campfire set up you have is pretty rad🤘🏼
I don't know if I could do that. I don't mean the solo off grid trips and camping. I've done plenty of that. It's just that I'm always talking to myself. Sometimes i even answer. So any video I made would never have the ambiance of silence.
awesome video At first i was like, what the heck is going on, but then I was hooked. I'm a person that doesn't deal with silence well. I always need background noise. The video was had a calming effect Great job!
I like that Howl.. You can use it as a stove. My main question is: How much propane does that thing burn per hour? Vs a chainsaw and a wood fire? The plus is you could use it with limited fire restrictions. Would be great in the desert.
Heck, I have gone on a couple of trips. Planned them for a month in advance with friends. I leave first and expect them to rendezvous at a certain spot/given time.. And they never show. I had a great time.
The solo trips might still be some of my favorites - love the peace.
Agree.

Looks like you use your starlink while driving. Where do you have the dish mounted?
Love winter camping. Nice video as always. Where did you get your fold up heat deflector?
Amazing videos brother 🤙
Красота супер💪👍👍
Awesome.vid shaun! I do a bit of youtube as well and always wonder which site you get your music from?
I always think about how much the actual filming processes take away from the experience? Seems like a lot…
He’s never really alone.. somewhere in the sky.. there’s his drone keeping an eye on everything 😂 thanks Shawn! ❤

Your videos are always a highlight on mondays, the timing is perfect because we just got our first real batch of snow in the south'ish of Sweden! 😀☃
Man, these Solo Camping ASMR vibes are amazing, could watch all day. Paired with your videography skills…more of these please! Pleasure as always 🤝
This is not the snow video that I am waiting for.
Casey got some inside info? 😄
The next one with tracks on the Jeep will be dope
Someone buy Shaun a nice coffee mug for Xmas! Great video, and as always, great start to the week. Love the drone footage, from high above to down low in front of the Destroyer!!
I forgot my mug at home. The look on my face when I couldn’t find a mug after making the coffee… 😅
I was gonna say, Jesus, he brings a coffee maker and uses a plastic bottle for a cup? 😂
Dude that Shot of the drone flying backwards through the trees 9:15 and you by the Lake was Money !! Love seeing these videos of you out Solo . ❤

The last clip though 😁⚡️
Super peaceful trip and the snow created some beautiful scenery. Can’t wait for next week’s video!
Shaun, I love your videos, and you are a great presenter, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this format. Thank you for this beautiful video. Give me more of this, please!
I like camping on my own. I can do what i want! I got a big trip coming in January to Gordon Gulch and Switzerland Trail, day run and night run!
I think these solo trips of yours have to be one of my favorites followed by your year end drone footage collage
Sweet Vid. Can't wait till next week with the TRACKS!!!!
was that site you camped at just behind dicks cabin?

You should have brought your daughter😊
Hard to believe the fires are still burning over there ☹
Love that firepit. But dang $1,300😮
$1300 firepit $9 coffee maker
I really miss your absolutely relaxing voiceover dude 🥲🫶🏻

😅 It took until the shot of you cooking to realize this was a-i 😂 looked like a great trip man.
I really enjoyed this one. Going out and exploring in the snow never gets old to me.
As usual, drone footage is blow my mind awesome 😮. Too bad you couldn’t have brought Ellie too with you. Great trip! 😊😎
I can see you're packing some protection against Bear...Very smart! What caliber it is?
44 mag
@@TheStoryTillNow very respectable!
Shawn makes movies that you can’t forget, love this dude.
Nice one. ... You ACTUALLY got your sleeping bag BACK in the stuff sack!?!
Great video. We want more solo camping videos. Enjoy! ❤
What happened to the big full wrap around awning?
It’s still on there I just didn’t need the other side really for this trip.
I can see your really roughing it!! What a joke
Joke’s on you dude.
The footage is outstanding, I feel like I am watching some documentary on Discovery channel. Great work!!! Nice scenery, must have been great trip. How do you deal with wildlife when camping out like that in the wild? This is EPIC!!
"The HOWL R4 is $1299 USD plus $99 shipping & handling. Deposits placed now will ship by the end of January 2024. " LOL

That howl is really cool, just wish it was a little cheaper!
Hello sir, I'm just a bit curious, what is your average fuel consumption everytime you're having a trip? TIA and always keep safe!

DJI Active Track almost let you down there...
Awesome adventure trying to get caught up on your videos I'm diggin the new rap on your gladiator
Have you and Casey 250 and y'all group ever tried (Ruby Falls Trail) in the snow. 12-02-23

Does anybody know who makes the campfire wind block Shawn sets up at 7:53?? I've been searching for weeks trying to find it.
I don't know if I could do that. I don't mean the solo off grid trips and camping. I've done plenty of that. It's just that I'm always talking to myself. Sometimes i even answer. So any video I made would never have the ambiance of silence.

Wonderful video as always. Where did you get your camp fire shield? I haven't been able to find one just like yours. Thanks
That Howl looks smooth. A lot of noise? What a great build, film and place. Love it. From Norway
I like that Howl.. You can use it as a stove. My main question is: How much propane does that thing burn per hour? Vs a chainsaw and a wood fire?

Great video brother, can't believe how beautiful earth is, thanks for showing all of us.
11:40 you are truly at peace brotha. Lol😊 Thank you for sharing your life with us man. Real dope content🤙🏼
You have beautiful truk
Very nice equipment.
I didn't understand why you lower your tiers pressure
Could u comment on your Starlink set up? So glad i found your channel, ive not stopped watching!
I absolutely love these videos. Just tossing it on in the corner of my screen while I work. Pure relaxation. Makes me want to go outside.
I always enjoy your videos but no commentary in this video, isn't for me. I understand many don't mind it, each to their own. I gave it a thumbs down.
Can't believe there are STILL fires burning. They just don't wanna die!
Bro , You need a Crawler RC 1;10 auto Buy. And Fun too , amazing video . Greeting
I get what you're doing, but not really a fan of the 'no dialog' vids.......
At least you have a good time 🕶🤙
thankU so much for showing us such a wonderful videos...watching from #Kashmir
wow very interesting experience friend
My sort of adventure... but only ever been able to do it in 2wd cars so it has limited me to 1500 ft passes in up to 8 inches of snow
this time of year its called the Wintersaw trail.. Awesome video Shaun..
I enjoy these trips and the content but sometimes I do wish there was interaction to the camera from you. Other times I enjoy just the videography.
Another amazing vid. Your videography is next level.
视频很赞,太棒了,我希望明年可以开着我的车自驾中国。我同样是一名摄影爱好者,我希望能给大家分享我的旅行。想你学习。
i SO wanted you to make this kind of a video and mahn it was mesmerizing! keep it coming shawn!
and looks like someone forgot his mug haha
Good Morning! Enjoy watching your videos! Where did you get the windscreen you used around your stove in this video?
It's awkward when he doesn't talk. Nice camping spot though.
Awesome video love the camping ASMR but lets go tracks!
I hope it doesn't snow, or your side canopy will be in trouble while you sleep. Silent snow builds up quick
Hello! The videos are well-edited! 2 questions? There is a bear there and what should you do alone? What is the temperature in the tent?
I need to know about the tent heater.... where can I find information about what you're running here?
Excellent video, love your solo trips, love the sound of that engine
Nice videos, but the Bronco was much more interesting and unique than the jeep.
Wheeling solo is not smart at all anything could go wrong . Bad idea I won't watch it .video hidden.
Best part of wheeling into the absolute middle of butt F nowhere is to set up your gear and cook outside.
So that was you on hwy15 trailering this rig. Had some fancy shoes on it ;)
Awesome video as always Shaun. Solo adventure are some of the most epic adventures.
Great video, as always...but next time can you not talk so much 😂
Bro the video would have been EPIC if you would just learn to be quiet
We're you aware of the fires before you left. That's not a good feeling. We're you ever in any danger?
