So Ed, have you ever tried to get a petition to modify the 25 year rul going? Obviously Canada has the 15 year rule and that would more than suffice imo, or at least have it be the first step to getting it to where it should be (5 years unfortunately, but at least that should in theory keep the automakers somewhat happy). The best solution, would be for the US (and Canada as a result) to adopt the Euro standards for safety and emissions going forward, and being able to retroactively apply them to older cars, thus negating the 25 year rule in the first place. I'm sure that would save a lot of the automakers money in the long run, and allow for cars that probably wouldn't be super successful in the US (wagons and diesels specifically) to be shipped over by the manufacturer directly as they wouldn't have to make a bunch of small changes to federalize them. Idk why we have different standards, despite sharing an atmosphere and humans sharing the same basic body structure. Also I'd propose a massive tariff (like 50%+) on China made vehicles to prevent those disgraceful pieces of cheap dishonest junk from showing up here.

I’ll need to be able to drive it whenever I’d like, but I won’t charge storage fees aside from whatever the necessary increased insurance costs… 😅
For me, I just want a RHD Mitsubishi Pajero super/Toyota Land Cruiser/Nissan Patrol. Glad I can buy one already imported into Canada from Japan so I can avoid extra charges.
I have a couple of Mexican friends that brought their cars to the USA on the 1 year tourist mode, however nobody really checks that, 3 years later and 0 problems, of course their cars are not as flashy as a Lamborghini tho

the only problem I have with the car is the gate around the shifter, I've driven manuals my whole life and if I'm rowing gears in a manner that would say attract the police, I'd want a shifter that well, I'm not going to slam into the metal gate around it.
This car is incredible - I wonder if Ed has ever considered the idea of pursuing a Reventon, since it's also Murcielago-based.
I hear stuff happening there all the time. Stuff happens there every day. They're not shipping anything out every day, but they're making something happen there every day. I would love to know what that stuff is..
Man I really want a TVR Sagaris, It's been my dream car since it was released. I still remember that Top Gear episode where Jeremy challenged a couple random people to try and open the door lmao.
But is it that much different compared to a regular LP640?
I whole heartedly agree. I would buy this before a Bugatti ss. I love the wing on the regular but never realized how good this murcie looks with spoiler instead of the wing!!
5:05 possible heart attack alert if you’re watching this video with your headphones on.
Other option is to stick a dealer plate on it. Need to own a dealer first though of course. Herb Chambers did this with his McLaren F1 in the late 90s
Canadian here. I’ll gladly own this thing on paper only for 10 years if someone wants to store it in a climate controlled garage for the foreseeable future. I’ll need to be able to drive it whenever I’d like, but I won’t charge storage fees aside from whatever the necessary increased insurance costs… 😅
There is an orange SV manual in Victoria Melbourne Australia owned by a young billionaire
LOL Adrian's is not a manual
I live in southern Ontario, about it 2 hours north of Detroit. If you need someone to hold the title and store it periodically I'll volunteer!
What makes this better than the 458 Italia?
lol 4:40 ad tailormade for the DDE boys
My exact thought as soon as I heard that lmao
Marrone eklipsys. The best ever colour from Lambo. So much so that I had an Aston Martin vantage v12 bespoke painted in that colour!
I was hoping someone wouldn’t say it (*video just did) to keep it secret. I’m dying to see the Aston!
How can it be the greatest car ever made if only a percentage of the world's population could actually fit in the car?
@VINwiki There was an Orange Murcielago SV that appeared in the latest Hagerty yt video with Larry Chen. Skip to 26:05.
For me, I just want a RHD Mitsubishi Pajero super/Toyota Land Cruiser/Nissan Patrol. Glad I can buy one already imported into Canada from Japan so I can avoid extra charges.
“Someone just needs to put 50k miles on it so I can buy it for the right money” 😂😂😂😂😂
That made me belly laugh
I have a couple of Mexican friends that brought their cars to the USA on the 1 year tourist mode, however nobody really checks that, 3 years later and 0 problems, of course their cars are not as flashy as a Lamborghini tho
4:44 As a Canadian citizen close to the border, I offer my services of holding onto the holy grail of cars ;)
I own a small plumbing corporation here in Canada and I would gladly let the owner utilize my business at no cost, being able to tell the story is good enough for me.
So why doesn't it comply with US regulations? It looks like every other Lambo that's out there on the roads now, is it something to do with emissions only? WOULD have been great to hear an actual reason why it couldn't come into the US legally other than it was built for Europe.
Emissions!
I hate brown cars -- let mom keep it on the station-wagon at Safeways.
But this is the most gorgeous paint I've ever seen.
WOW!!!
Why did they outlaw Brown Supercars? What was the reason given?
The Gold Wheels are gorgeous! 👌
That was a joke
Its racist
@@shaunsnyman5107 Umm... no. It's just a color that some people don't like on cars in particular.
@@davidapharry4680it's racist
Does anyone know why the LP 670-4 super veloce has more horsepower than the LP 640? This seems to be some thing I’ve never gotten an answer to. And how hard is it to make that modification to an LP 640?
Im looking forward to seeing this car pop up at for public events since we havent seen one of these get really any media exposure before. Really all the heard was the mentions from Ed of there fabled existence.
I had a dual sidedraft Weber 1.9l 1972 open gt that i,at 6'2",could snuggle into and have a blast...
For a LOT less than something I couldnt..thats beautiful ride in the video, but just a paperweight to me..
I am a Canadian citizen and business owner and car enthusiast in the Toronto area 👀
What is the silver car 3 spaces back behind the Murci? Cant place that roofline.
I’m pretty sure Supercar Ron owns this car in Utah now.
It can't be the greatest car ever made if you can't drive it anywhere, anytime. But this is definitiely a very cool car. In my opinion the greatest car ever made is the one sitting in your garage that you paid off and you get to keep forever.
Lamborghini diablo is one i love personally.
That one's beautiful too
That color is stunning in the light
Us spec sv is here in ma. I have some info on it, but no leads on how to buy it. I do, however, know someone local who most likely serviced this car and may have m9re info on where and who has it.
6:58 I’ve seen that Diablo. I don’t live to far from Roy Cats’ dealership. Cats Exotics. He has had a bunch of cool cars there. Lamborghini Minardi F1 car, Koenigsegg CCX, A Diablo that has the American flag livery, and a bunch of other cars. I’m pretty sure at one point he had 1 of the other SV manuals. It’s a white one.

Are there 5 or 7 manual Murcie LP670-4 SVs? I thought Ed found 2 more manual Murcie SVs?
Brown was a very popular color for Jags back in the 70s. I always wondered where the brown Jags went. Now I know! xD
That spec is gorgeous
This lambo is basically Indian student in USA on F1 visa
The brown sports car ban clearly only applies for one day in the year.
People should be able to import any car they want from any country and drive it. No exceptions.
If I were the owner of this beautiful Lambo I'd have it parked in my garage
If you could only have one Lamborghini, but it could be any Lamborghini, then imo the Diablo SE30 Jota would be the one to have. That for me is the coolest of the cool. The Veneno and the Reventon are a bit too much, too over the top for me.
I would like a RHD pre-LP here in US. Thanks for explaining.
I want a 07 murci but want to figure out how ti 6 spd manual swap one I have a 06 murci im throwing a twin turbo ls ( it came without a motor and trans)
There isn't a specific color that's illegal to paint a car in the United States, but some paint jobs may make a car more likely to be pulled over
Better call The Stradman
Doesn't LB Performance have the Europe car?
