Pretty cool, er hot! All in all, I like it.
I think the temp hit points are a bit much though. Perhaps a better way to do that is to just model it off of the Heroism spell from the Paladin`s spell list. That way there are fewer temporary hit points but they regenerate at the start of your turns. Still tanky, but not overpowered.
The Druid`s Flame Blade spell would be more thematic for this particular Gish than Shadow Blade is. Plus if you`re getting Elemental Adept, it would of course benefit from that. Then with the flat damage bonus added on, it would actually put out decent damage on a hit.
One thing though. An upcast Spirit Guardians will out damage any of the smite spells by a fair amount. Especially with multiple enemies. Now it would also have the Proficiency modifier added on as fire damage as well. I have seen what a Swords Bard can do with Spirit Guardians when they took it with Magical Secrets... Everything just kinda melted.
Not a problem really but I noticed that Green Flame Blade is double dipping with this subclass. It just strikes me as mildy odd, but it does help bring up the damage from GFB to be closer to Booming Blade. Proficiency modifier at lvl 1, Wisdom modifier at 8th lvl, both on the first target, with a double dip on both for the second creature because it already uses your spellcasting ability modifier which is Wis+Prof. So then Wis+Wis+Prof+Prof for the second creature. This is not a bad thing, just something to take note of...
Treantmonk did a video on Fire Storm recently, where he pointed out that as long as you have 2 of the ten foot cubes together then it meets the mechanical requirement that each ten foot cube must have at least one face adjacent to the face of another cube, you can then place these two ten foot sections on five different areas of the map that are fairly far apart. This way you can have a massive AOE that you can also place fairly precisely to avoid hitting your party members. That might be a perfect strategy for this subclass, because of the added fire damage. Now it`s 7d10+Proficiency.
I like that you added Fire Shield to the spell list, the retributive fire damage is very thematic, and I also wonder if it would get the added Proficiency modifier, as while it does damage it`s more of a buff spell. I`m not quite certain.

So glad i found this channel early as im sure ur going to blow up big if u keep putting stuff this good out. Love love love this class would love to play it. It seems strong but not broken next to some of the stuff wotc has put out

Thanks so much for the kind words. It is definitely strong, but so are the Peace and Twilight domains (though sometimes banned), the Life domain for healing, etc. The cleric spell list is weaker than the wizard's for sure, so it will naturally fall below the Bladesinger. And the buffs are more situational. I overall agree with you, strong but not broken.

The temp HP Regen thing is too much imo. I might just give a flat temp HP upon activation like prof bonus + Wis or something

Yeah, might be a little hot. But that's why we playtest!

@@rdchris6556 I paused right after the temp hp regen to check the comments because I thought the same thing. Gonna go back to finish the video though, seems good so far

I appreciate the feedback. Was trying to grab some Spore Druid vibes for this, but as always, playtesting is important. If anything else seems out of place, let me know.

As someone who appreciates powerful subclases for my players, im excited to this as a npc to showcase it and maybe have a player take it in the future

Feel free to adjust as needed. It hasn't been playtested at all, so it might be a little hot.

@@fellstardm I was going to adjust to make it hotter! I have some crazy things for melees and would remove that to let them have some more oomf to keep up with the other melee builds
