Like I mentioned, I will have the Lexus RX350 next week to review so please subscribe and hit the notification bell to know exactly when that video goes live!
Own a Venza limited trim. Comfortable, good sound system, smooth throttle response, good brakes, handles curves confidently, don’t mind tap-tapping volume and temperature controls. Don’t like Nav system, Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, or 12” touch display. Adaptive cruise control loses leading vehicle too easily, lane centering pops on and off unexpectedly. Nav system is out of date - uses info from many years ago. 12” display is split into two of three sections and doesn’t allow enough user choice about the split. Too much wind noise on highway. However, overall vehicle is fine.
Good review Mate...you encapsulated the real difference between the two...it is damn near to a Lexus and those looking for a premium drive this is quite excellent. Also with the Lithium Ion Hybrid battery (vs. NiMH in the RAV4), the vehicle actually stays longer in EV mode which helps with ride noise and get up an go.
I owned a venza hybrid limited 2022 i love it i always a toyota lover but when i sat inside a rav4 compare to a venza. Venza is comfortable than a rav4 interior is much better than a rav4 because the exterior and interior is more to the lexus than a toyota. But remember in Japan call the harrier very popular in Japan. Thanks for your video take care bye from milton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
You have the capacities for the Venza vs RAV4 with the rear seats up REVERSED. The RAV4 has the higher capacity because of the squared off roof line, while the Venza has less due to the sloping roof line. The rear seat space is identical between the Venza and RAV4. The Venza seats are much more comfortable.
Hey MAX, Nice to see you again. You’re the first Reviewer of this New Venza that leaves out the fact when comparing to the RAV 4 that the Venza is Noticeably Quieter Cabin. And as you mention the Materials are nicer. The Price difference here in the US for Top Trims on Rav 4 to Venza Limited is a few thousand more but you get a lot more with the Venza. This is a Comparison list of Price and Features www.kbb.com/compare-cars/results/?vehicleIds=449746|449055
Hello Max thanks for your review. Im from. northern Quebec and following your recommendation I got a Honda CR-V Sport 2020 and im very happy that its made. in Canada The area where you make your video is amazing. Keep up your good work.
This is almost convincing me to upgrade from my Prius - I could use a little more power and versatility. But maybe I'll wait a couple of years 'til they iron out the kinks, assuming there are any. As as an aside - you have some of the most gorgeous backdrops, and you're also quite handsome. I quite enjoy your reviews
$50k it’s like $871 a month for 72 months @ 5.94% (Toyota Canada website numbers) so by time it’s all said and done it’s $63 thousand dollars 🥴🥴🥴 anyone that buys a new vehicle nowadays is absolutely crazy. The last new vehicle I bought was 5 years ago, I buy nothing over $20K anymore the depreciation is just massive nowadays. I just rented a Mazda CX 30 and the Mazda CX5 GT and they were garbage with zero power. All these SUV’s are literally the same...underpowered 4 bangers for astronomical dollars. You save a ton of money just buying a 2 year old leaseback vehicle fully loaded...
Yes, buying a new vehicle only with loaned money is a bit crazy. You have to save first and put a down payment to reduce the overall interest fee and monthly payments. We do it for houses, but most will not do this for a car. People tend to shop for a monthly payment without looking at the final price they'll end up paying.
Bought a new 2019 Rav 4 Hybrid XLE June 2019 paid off 13 months later 2.4% MSRP $32,142 Negotiated $27,900 Used price today 12/17/20. $ 28,454 With 25 k miles Looks like buying a new Rav 4 hybrid in 2019 was a smart purchase.
Typical hybrid feel at the bottom of the pedal where the physical brakes engage. It is weird if you've never driven a hybrid/electric car before, but you'll get used to them after 3 or 4 drives
Hi, friend. I own one Venza too. Just bought it. Where did you get the splash guard for your Venza? It looks to me that your Venza has got them installed.
I think for a more upscale vehicle, the 2.5L hybrid engine might not be refined enough. Maybe a full BEV will be more comparable to a vehicle with a V6 engine.
A couple of young men deliberately ran a Rav4 out of gas and it could not be restarted without a scan tool to reset codes and of course gasoline. Simplicity is still a good thing, I cannot imagine a need for a panoramic opaque roof. I also wonder about depreciation of hybrids since battery replacement is a well known huge cost.
My guess is that Toyota got scared the new "aggressive" and angular Rav4 would scare older buyers so they brought back a smooth and boring looking SUV.

major difference is the venza is made in japan we all know that work ethic is serious

When you got into the back seat of the Venza you didn’t have the seat backs reclined. But you did when you got into the Rav.
If only the rav4 wasn't so ugly in comparison

That's what I did! Got a Mazda 6 Signature turbo on a 6k mile corporate lease return for much less than a new Mazda 3 hatch.

How do the brakes feel ? Do they have that typical hybrid feel ?

@@maxlandireviews just test drove it today and the brakes felt better than rav4

Canadian version has them factory installed on all trim levels. also all weather floor mats, only carper cargo liner though.
Thanks for the review! I like that you used canadian prices :p
Always!
Better interior for sure but still kinda ugly gauges with blue.

Has anyone told you have the voice/talking style of a football (soccer) broadcaster?
Maybe once or twice before! Definitely a dream job

Toyota now has a 150,000 miles warranty on the batteries.

It shouldn’t be a hybrid
Okay, but if I set the cruise at 50 mph I get 45 mpg .
2021 Venza le. Driving on crooked hilly roads.
Hybrids only make sense if you have carefully considered the long term cost of owning
such a specialized vehicle.
