Do you think it will end up similar if I use double thread of Hobbii's 100% cotton yarn 8/4, recommended 2.5-3.5mm hook. It is considered super fine. Thanks :)

when i subcribed to this channel hey carrie told all the sizes i liked that but she does not do that anymore...so i dont do her tutorials anymore...🙃

This is a customizable size, so when you're doing the ribbing, you should make it long enough to fit around the waist of your daughter. I think it would be better to have the stitch number for the waist circumference in multiples of 6, because it looks like this pattern requires that.
