I've been crocheting for 3 years and this is the first time I've actually made something I could wear! It's normally too hard because a lot of pattern makers have a one size fits all approach. Thank you!!!!!!!

Made this with scrap yarn lying around and a 4mm hook with some adjustments and loving it! Just took me a few hours. It's really comfy. Probably a great 2nd or 3rd garment if you're a beginner crocheter.

I absolutely LOVE that you braided the straps so they just already have a tassel! BRILLIANT!!! I always crochet my straps and then hate having to make a tassel afterwards, this is going to save so much time and everything I make is getting tassels now!😆 hahaha

Beautiful pattern, thank you. I would like to see summer tops with and without short sleeves. I figured out one top I really like by completing a similar top then this one (it had a wider top straight edge), but making a wider shoulder strap which I fastened to a back piece (crochet same as front ). Then I crochet around each arm hole working a short sleeve. It looks great. I am using the thick #4 cotton yarn for most of my tops, it works faster. I am always look forward to your next project. I love the idea of creating a base piece, then changing it slightly to get a different look.

thank you 💛 that's something i love that about crochet too, there is always a way to make it your own. & that's so creative to add sleeves. I really wonder how it would look & i would love to see how you change up this piece if you end up making it!

thank you! been crocheting for a few days now and i just finished this top. Made a few mistakes with the stitch increases but i don’t think you can tell now that it’s finished - and it fits really nicely because of the drawstrings at the back :) once again, thank you for the lovely pattern. have a nice day and stay safe ❤️

This was really fun! The video was helpful, but it was worth it to purchase the pattern PDF. I used a 3 weight yarn doubled up, and a 4 mm hook. With these small tweaks, it helped to check the gauge. Loved the little bonus at the end of the video!

Amanda Love Santos I was wondering if you could tell us the exact colors you used for the top in the photos. I ordered lion brand 24/7 cotton yarn in jade, café au lait, and camel and it just doesn’t look like the jade or café au lait are even close but they look as if they are the closest match.

If your making a bigger size what you want to do is keep going past where she said. you can keep going on either side to make it as wide as you need to be. Keep following the same steps. I have a wide love handle section so I applied the method of how she stopped at a certian point at the top to the sides of where I want it to cover my love handle region. then I made a small extention of what I worked up. fastened off by making it straight instead of it being diagnal. then continuted finllowing the instructions. I suggest making the straps wider if you have bigger chest for obvious reasons. >.> srry for my bad english

Link doesn't work to get bigger sizes. Would love to know how many more rows and that

Amazing project. Will you please tell us what yarn you used? I know it's a #4 and that's what I used, but it's so much more bulky than yours and the neck straps are 3 times larger than the ones in the video. I used cotton, but didn't think that it would make such a difference. Thanks for any help you can give. Great video!

I have started and it is coming out well, but for some reason my count isn’t right when I incorporate the drop stitch, so I left it out. I will try again when I make another as I am certain I will😊
