For people complaining about the magnetic properties of various metals used by the Avengers and the inaccuracy of this, please keep in mind this is for the MCU: -Cap's shield is explicitly shown to be magnetic in Age of Ultron -Tony made a suit out of carbon nanotubes in AVX when he battles Magneto. In the MCU, his suits are made out of a gold-titanium alloy, which has been show IRL to have magnetic properties - phys.org/news/2016-07-lab-titanium-gold-alloy-harder-steels.html. Part of the conceit of this video is that the Avengers did not know who Magneto was (because he has previously not existed in the MCU), so Stark would not have planned for this. -Magneto has been shown to be able to deflect or push Mjolnir in the comics (i.stack.imgur.com/kj0dz.jpg). Note that he doesn't really manipulate it or hold it in this video, just knocks it back against Thor's gnads

Honestly, that could lead to an interesting moment. Perhaps one of the main reasons magneto became a villian was because he heard stories of Captain America and the Howling Commandos liberating Germany, and always expected him to save him, but he never did.
People don't realize over the years how much respect Magneto has for Wolverine. He could have ripped him to shreds anytime. This was demonstrated finally in the comics when he liquefied the adamantium in his body and ripped it off his bones. Gruesome. That caused Xavier to turn Magneto into a vegetable which in turn started the Onslaught saga.

It can makes you indestructible. you can alter game in any way you like. Plus magneto won't use eye of agamotto without spells....

Sadly Mckellen is too old, if they expect more than one movie maybe he will die before finishing them. Magneto can lift giant bridges and rip iron out of people's blood with nothing but magnetism, and that's just the movies; in comics he's been shown using magnetism to lift people, boulders, and even freakin trees! Throwing Hulk wouldn't be anywhere near the craziest thing he's accomplished.

Theres been a few times where magneto used his mastery over electro magnetism to disrupt the signals from a persons brain and essentially shut them off. He can do far more than just manipulate metal, hope mcu manages to display that
The MCU is where they water down comic book characters. Thanos is so much more than just a brick, but none of his telepathy abilities, and one of his strongest abilities energy manipulation wasn't even touch.

but Iron Man had build the Stealth Armor Mk III, the "Plastic Ghost Armor" which was built out of plastic to counter Magneto and was also specifically built to be immune to vibranium. That armor had low offensive capabilities but was immune to both Magneto and Black Panther.

Actually, he'd only have to use old style bullets - you know, the ones used in the first Colt pistols. They were made of classic, average, non-magnetic, very penetrating LEAD.
As much as I am a Wolverine fan, I still loved when Magneto meets him on the train in the first X-men movie. My whole Wolverine world came crashing down....then I laughed, then thought ok Magneto is badass! He's my 2nd fav now.

Then some time in the 80s or early 90s, Marvel changed Magneto's powers from "actual magnetism" to "control over all metals regardless of whether or not they're magnetic." Which led to the infamous story where Magneto ripped Wolverine's entire skeleton out and nearly killed him.

Magneto has access to more power cuz of electromagnetism. By changing his magnetic field, he can create bolts of electricity. He also been shown to stop the blood flow in people due the iron in their blood. Magneto is seriously undersold.
He could technically also be capable of creating electromagnetic radiation; aka light. He could create a huge amount of energy in the visible spectrum, blinding anyone who comes near. Or he could create a huge amount of energy in the ultraviolet and X-ray spectra, making anyone in the vicinity develop hundreds of terminal cancers in the next few days. Or just nuke them all with a gamma ray burst of enough EM radiation to instantly kill anything via radiation poisoning.
I know iron man is incased in metal but I can’t imagine the pain wolverine would feel having his metal skeleton manipulated that would be absolute hell

no becuz the iron content in our blood is minimal there's a comment thread that has discussed this somewhere in this video so I wouldn't count on us being metal bent or whatever by a significant amount but still he would have control over us in some way just not like puppets on a string. now if he had bone and water control that's different but there's only like 4 grams of iron and tha'ts being distributed throughout the entire body helping with some functions like brain activity to helping blood levels being normal. I'm guessing we would really feel more of a fuzzy feeling and fatigue more than anything. iron would be ripped out from our bodies though but we could still walk and do things relatively normal compared to if we have 25% or 50% iron in our bodies like that of a deep sea snail. This is just comics overiding things and being silly as if we had a larger significanty more mass of iron in our blood. The scary thing in truth is that the realist version of magneto could still move iron around in our blood making us lose functions or whatever by rpping it out or moving it somewhere where its not needed like they eyes in a pretty significant amount. blinnding people permanently or making them really sick or disabled probably.u8

Mystique injected extra iron into the guard beforehand. So...not from what we've seen but maybe if he gets stronger and can manipulate the natural amount of iron in an adult.
In some interpretations he reaches the point where he manipulated sub atomic particles. Meaning he has the ability to convert regular matter into plasma directly, one of the versions of the dude with a sun for a head was him. Destructive matter conversion is something he could probably do.

The hemoglobin in our blood has a very low concentration of iron on blood cells, so is kinda try to drink water by breathing steam. It might work, but it will cost a uncountable amount of time.

That's what happens when you give a character the power to bend one of the primordial forces of the universe at its will. I should remind you that if you change magnetic fields, you create electric ones, so he's 'eletromagneto' actually. So, basically, he could just create and erase very quickly a few very strong magnetic fields, creating an electric field strong enough to rip the electrons out of all of the other hero's atoms. Then, with the atoms striped from the electrons, he could do it again to create forces in opposite directions from neighbors atoms, stripping the hole person open, atom by atom

Ye telekinesis is low key one of the most overpowered superpowers even when restricted to just metal. Control of magnetism is more that just telekinesis with metal but you get my point.

If it were a serious fight Saitama would win just due to sheer speed and power. Actually he wouldnt even have to hit him directly a full powered punch in his direction would kill him instantly.
Hulk doesn't need metal, but Magneto apparently can just make things magnetic that aren't already magnetic. He could try the same thing on Hulk that he did to Iron Man.
However, not all metals are ferromagnetic, so not all are equally susceptible to a magnetic field. For example, aluminum is paramagnetic, i.e. it is weakly attracted to magnets, and gold is diamagnet, i.e. it is repelled by a magnetic field.

For starters stop talking about Mjölnir like it’s just a regular Hammer made of Steel. It’s made of Uru. A magical Element from a 4th Dimensional Multiverse Sized Realm and doesn’t follow or obey the same laws of physics as the Metals from the Universe. Tony and Reed analyzed it once and outright said that they ain’t even sure if Metal would be the right name for it. Magneto tried to Control the Hammer twice and both Times the Hammer repelled him and sent him flying. Once it literally absorbed his Magnetic Field entirely and essentially turned him powerless. His manipulation of Iron in the Bloodstream wouldn’t work on Thor either cuz Thor does not even have actual blood. He also change the structure of his Avatars at will and turn them into something else entirely. Magneto fought Thor twice in the Comics and both Times it went horrible for him. First Time was when he lured Thor into his Hideout trying to make an Alliance with him. Guess what? He got his kicked so badly that he had to flood and crush the entire Hideout on Thor to SLOW him down so he could get away. Second time was in the secret Wars where he got power boost from the Beyonder and got cocky. He tried to get payback at Thor and challenged him by tossing Storm’s body towards him who had crippled. Guess what happened next? Thor went complete Berserk on Magnus A$$ and literally broke his entire body in Half with a Back Breaker. That event humbled and traumatized Erik so badly that he literally looks arose in Fear whenever he has to fights the Avengers. In the Avengers versus X-Men storyline he said:„Thank you Freya. Thor is not around.” Thor kicked Lehnsherr’s punk Rock Butt so bad he converted to Norse Paganism 😂😂😂

Magneto has access to more power cuz of electromagnetism. By changing his magnetic field, he can create bolts of electricity. He also been shown to stop the blood flow in people due the iron in their blood. Magneto is seriously undersold.
He could technically also be capable of creating electromagnetic radiation; aka light.
He could create a huge amount of energy in the visible spectrum, blinding anyone who comes near. Or he could create a huge amount of energy in the ultraviolet and X-ray spectra, making anyone in the vicinity develop hundreds of terminal cancers in the next few days.
Or just nuke them all with a gamma ray burst of enough EM radiation to instantly kill anything via radiation poisoning.

no becuz the iron content in our blood is minimal there's a comment thread that has discussed this somewhere in this video so I wouldn't count on us being metal bent or whatever by a significant amount but still he would have control over us in some way just not like puppets on a string. now if he had bone and water control that's different but there's only like 4 grams of iron and tha'ts being distributed throughout the entire body helping with some functions like brain activity to helping blood levels being normal. I'm guessing we would really feel more of a fuzzy feeling and fatigue more than anything. iron would be ripped out from our bodies though but we could still walk and do things relatively normal compared to if we have 25% or 50% iron in our bodies like that of a deep sea snail. This is just comics overiding things and being silly as if we had a larger significanty more mass of iron in our blood. In some interpretations he reaches the point where he manipulated sub atomic particles. Meaning he has the ability to convert regular matter into plasma directly, one of the versions of the dude with a sun for a head was him. Destructive matter conversion is something he could probably do.

The hemoglobin in our blood has a very low concentration of iron on blood cells, so is kinda try to drink water by breathing steam. It might work, but it will cost a uncountable amount of time.

I should remind you that if you change magnetic fields, you create electric ones, so he's 'eletromagneto' actually. So, basically, he could just create and erase very quickly a few very strong magnetic fields, creating an electric field strong enough to rip the electrons out of all of the other hero's atoms. Then, with the atoms striped from the electrons, he could do it again to create forces in opposite directions from neighbors atoms, stripping the hole person open, atom by atom

Tony and Reed analyzed it once and outright said that they ain’t even sure if Metal would be the right name for it. Magneto tried to Control the Hammer twice and both Times the Hammer repelled him and sent him flying. Once it literally absorbed his Magnetic Field entirely and essentially turned him powerless. His manipulation of Iron in the Bloodstream wouldn’t work on Thor either cuz Thor does not even have actual blood. He also change the structure of his Avatars at will and turn them into something else entirely.
Magneto fought Thor twice in the Comics and both Times it went horrible for him. First Time was when he lured Thor into his Hideout trying to make an Alliance with him. Guess what? He got his kicked so badly that he had to flood and crush the entire Hideout on Thor to SLOW him down so he could get away. Second time was in the secret Wars where he got power boost from the Beyonder and got cocky. He tried to get payback at Thor and challenged him by tossing Storm’s body towards him who had crippled. Guess what happened next? Thor went complete Berserk on Magnus A$$ and literally broke his entire body in Half with a Back Breaker. That event humbled and traumatized Erik so badly that he literally looks arose in Fear whenever he has to fights the Avengers. In the Avengers versus X-Men storyline he said:„Thank you Freya. Thor is not around.” Thor kicked Lehnsherr’s punk Rock Butt so bad he converted to Norse Paganism 😂😂😂
