Freshly serviced lowers and air can on the fork I take my Trance out for a shakedown ride. The bike felt fantastic, so I decided to push it a bit and paid for it. Hope you enjoy this one!
That was quite a wipe-out, always a risk when you push it on trails like that! Glad you weren't bashed up more seriously. I think your speed after the crash was like mine all the time - with age comes caution. Some great trails in your neighbourhood - you are very lucky if these are on your doorstep.
Thanks! Yeah I’m super lucky I have these so close. That crash could have been much worse, I came out pretty lucky overall. Took about a week of rehab, stretching etc. to feel about 90% and after about 3 weeks I’m 100% back to normal (thankfully). I know what you mean about being more cautious! It’s all that risk vs reward. Sometimes I bite off more then I can chew and get humbled lol. Thanks for watching!
Never fun to have the front washout when leaning into it on a turn! I've had it happen on a few trails this year specifically going fast on berms. Funny thing though my scariest fall so far was in Banff on a green trail but had that shale almost kitty litter gravel and instead of the shoulder and knee I smoked my head happy I walked away from that one at the end of the ride before going to the nordic center too🤦🏼♂️
Just had a similar crash on saturday. Was planning on a chill ride, but I immediately started going as fast as I could, went into a berm really hard and I chopped off the lip of the berm, I almost wore elbow pads that morning... Shame I didn't, because I'm missing most of the skin on my elbow now, hah!
Thank you! Everything local is overgrown this time of year. We have also had a good amount of rain. It wouldn’t be a terrible climb up but there are much better ways to get back to the top
I think I had my weight a tad too far back and when my front tire got off trail a tad and hit the grass it washed out on me. Hard to say for sure though, happened really fast. Feeling better now, after about a week I had mobility with some mild pain and 2-3 weeks now I’m close to 100% but my shoulder is still tight.

Shit looks fun. I wish I had long flowy trails like this in my area.
Thank you! I’m pretty lucky to have this 10min from my house!
Wow very nice 👍 from France
Thank you!
I was wondering where those trails go. Very nice.
Haha there’s lot of them too!
Thanks as well!

That’s good to hear you came out alright! Funny I seem to crash harder on the more chill trails then the difficult ones!

Ouch!! Those things happen! Sounds like a hard one but it can always be worse. Heal up! Hope your better soon!
underrated
Thank you!
💯
enjoyable video bro, but a lot of growth on those trails can cause a fall. Wondering how hard is it to ride back up?

Great spot again, sorry you had a fall but it looks like your wheel bit into some soft stuff?

Looks like a super nice spot!
Thanks! It’s lots of fun!
Looks like the entire trail is soft stuff!
It’s all loose over hard pack clay. Off trail it’s super loose and can be pretty soft in some areas
